On the contrary, technology is an extension of indo european heritage and ancestry, that other races lack the insight, intelligence, and ingenuity to produce......
It is not "destroying" the world. It is building the world, taking humanity higher into a posthuman era.
DSEI brings together the entire defence and security industry to source the latest equipment and systems, develop international relationships, and generate new business opportunities.
Advanced technology has eradicated the glory of battle; wars are fought from a distance now. No longer do warriors, aggressively, charge their enemy, fight personally, face-to-face. You can eliminate an enemy from thousands of miles away by just clicking a button. Ancient battle was more masculine, more rewarding, more behooving to the warrior ethos - something lacking in modernity.
Another thing, I feel like all this advanced technology we have separates us from nature, from the soil. Everything is so artificial. Our houses are artificial, our food is artificial, our cultural values are artificial ( more like anti-nature ), so on and so forth. For me it just seems like everything is so impersonal and meaningless in the West; too many people, too much degeneracy, too much technology, not enough camaraderie nor honor nor warrior ethos nor connection with the soil....

And we're becoming weaker and weaker... ~bleached~
If trees have been getting taller and stronger without our help for millennia, then we should live in harmony with them and grow taller and stronger.
But hey, they are people who claim that we're done with nature, and now it's time for genetic engineering.
I've heard it from an American guy - claims to be a socialist, very well educated, high IQ, both parents are doctors, live in Cali.
Am I alone in thinking technology hasn't done much positive or negative?
That technology is impotent?
That it hasn't changed our lives for better or worse, in the main?
That it hasn't changed the fundamentals of the human condition?
People are still born and die.
They still have to eat and shit.
There's more food than ever before, but most of it is crap.
Diseases have changed a little, but they're still with us.
There's more of us than ever before, but our lives as a species hang more in the balance than ever before.
Life expectancy hasn't increased nearly as much as most people think it has, gaining something like 40 or 30 since the classical and medieval eras, is a lie.
Are we freer or more enslaved than ever before? Or have we just exchanged certain sorts of freedoms for other sorts?
Existence is still just as stressful as ever I think, we just have different stresses now.
We can communicate with more people than ever before, but 99.9 percent of that communication is just noise.
Same shit different pile, we took a few steps forward in some ways, and a few steps back in others, and ultimately, the human race probably won't be around a few million years from now or a few decades for that matter, but something else will be around more than likely, making a fuss.

On the contrary, neuroscience, nanotechnology, advanced robotics, will soon open doors beyond the human imagination.
And medical technology is extending lifespans, if you are rich enough to afford it. The best tech is already here, for the wealthy. One of the main "problems" is that middle class and poor people cannot afford it. Also let's use google glasses as an example of european ingenuity and innovation. White nerds dominate the silicon valley and all computer tech areas. White people invented the internet.
You want to throw it all away? Why? So you can be happy living in a straw hut huddled around a fire?
I don't know about the rest of you, but I enjoy contacting philosophers around the world, within seconds, communicating, exchanging ideas, instantly.
This has never been done before in the history of humanity.
As technology advances it will come under the monopoly of the global elite to enslave the rest of the world with. Technology has always been a tyrannical instrument.
For every form of technology that is a convenience or benefit to people there are ten other technologies created to enslave and do other people harm.
If your goal is to create a prison planet where the entire global population is under total control advanced technology would be the means to do this.
Then with things like A.I. the object or goal is to replace the entire global human population altogether.
People who put all of their faith into technology and innovation are fools.

The Spartans said the same thing about the Macedonians because instead of fighting hand to hand combat they would instead mow them down with arrows.

The transhumanists want to get rid of the old natural world order to devise a genetically based manipulated new world order fused with machine. That is the goal.
Of course most people are too fucking stupid to see all of this which is in plain sight.
Isn't it amazing how by connecting two or more things together we become inventors?

Not at all.
I'd love to live in an organic village with full, unlimited access to hi-speed internet connection, where electricity is generated by watermills or solar panels.
I think we should be greatful to those who invented the internet, because now the entire world can learn from those who make things for you to enjoy your life.
These type of people paint waves on their blue flags, not triangles. Ha!
With 393 Blue Flag beaches, Greece is the second in the world, after Spain, among 49 countries. The International Jury awarded last year 3.103 beaches and 626 marinas world widely.
“Blue Flag” is an international symbol of quality and is considered the best-known environmental symbol in the world. It is being awardeded since 1987 on beaches and marinas that meet strict conditions .
The prefecture of Halkidiki ranks first among all the regions of our country, winning as 35 beaches and 2 marinas received the honorary distinction worldwide. Specifically, “Blue Flag” have the following beaches and marinas :
• In the Municipality of Aristotelis: 3 in Ierissos, 3 in Kamboudi, 3 in Ouranoupoli, in Agios Paulos, in Porto Agio, in Nea Roda, Stratoni and Kambos.
• In the Municipality of Sithonia: Sarti, Sykia, Toroni, Platanitsi, 2 in Porto Carras, Elia, Makria Lagada, Lagomandra, 2 in Marmaras, Livrohio.
• In the Municipality of Kassandra: Sani, 2 in Kriopigi, Fourka, Polyhrono and two in Hanioti.
• In the Municipality of Nea Propontis: Elaionas and Nea Potidea.
• Marinas of Porto Carras and Sani.

Yes, Sir!
But there are people who constantly ask themselves "What's next?", and want to do something with what's available.
Are you working on any projects which, thanks to the power of the internet, will benefit the entire planet?
Do you think having an access to people who have mailing lists with tens of millions subscribers might be a powerful tool to inform large pools of people about your inventions and observations?

The white race is admittedly the most artificial, farthest from nature, farthest from the past, and therefore also the most cultural.
This is the reason why indo european cultural is overwhelmingly dominant throughout the world. There are no true, worthy adversaries to it. To understand this, just take a look at how profoundly japanese oriental cultural has submitted and subsumed itself to western, european culture. It is too obvious as a general representative of the globalization that follows it.
Japanese are also the ones leading the advanced robotics and will probably be the first nation who creates a fully operation human cyborg.

You see, nature.
It seemed to me that your thread paints advanced technology in the negative rather than positive. I don't see the reason for bias here. Nature and artifice both have their mutual advantages and disadvantages.
I personally favor artifice, as should other males, since the male gender is itself representative of artifice over nature. Females represent nature, instinct, intuition, emotion, sex. Males represent art, risk, exploration, curiosity, philosophy, creation, procreation, recreation.

Yes I am working on a physical theory of the universe and gravity that will change the course of human history over the next 1000 years or longer.

OK, I see what you mean. It wasn't my intention to use this thread to say "Let's live in a forest", but you have a point. So, I've edited the OP, and let's show examples of what we might consider as positive or negative technology.
I studied science and technology, so don't think that I'm against it. Also, during socialism in the late 80's, my mother worked in accredidted labolatories, and was hired by the Gov't (Department of Trade) to visit factories and check if the quality of food they put on the market met the highest standards. So, most definately I'm not against science and technology.

What about food? Do you favor artifice or nature?

I like both extremes. I like choice. I like extremely, extremely artificial chemical foods and additives. I also like organic farms and food grown without pesticides and genetic modification. Again I don't see the need to choose one over the other, per se. Some will favor one direction, and others.
Many humans will choose nature. Many humans will choose artifice.
The extreme of artificial foods is represented by the drug industry, drugs such as cocaine, heroine, methamphetamine, acid, caffeine, alcohol, etc. Drugs are the artifice. Herbs, plants, and foods are the natural base of them. Some drugs are merely the condensed, "purified" essence of foods. For example, alcohol is derived from the fermentation of wheat, barley, oat, rye.....wine from grapes and fruit, etc.
"Technology and sex have always been intertwined. Many of humanity's biggest technological advances — from photography to the telephone to motion pictures to Google Glass most recently — have been quickly repurposed to provide people, usually adult men, with avenues for sexual arousal and release. This week, Apple's iPad belatedly joined that list with the Fleshlight Launchpad. The product is an iPad case with a holster that grips a separate penetrative sex toy called the Fleshlight. The Launchpad only works with older full-sized iPad models (iPad 2 through fourth generation), and includes "rugged handgrips on either side."
The idea —as depicted in a mostly safe-for-work, if bluntly risqué video ad for the device— is to attach the Fleshlight to the iPad and play a sexually arousing video on its screen. A person can then pleasure themselves with the iPad while watching the video in landscape mode, all for the price of $24.95. Though we haven't tested the device and have no plans to do so, it appears to be a cumbersome, mostly low-tech solution for those individuals looking to add an extra dimension of tangibility to their pornography viewing, or couples looking to engage in simultaneous long-distance sexting using their device cameras.
The company behind both the Fleshlight and the Launchpad case, Interactive Life Forms, says it was inspired by a "an image that was leaked years ago of an iPad case that holds a Fleshlight." Whatever you think of the results, don't expect the Launchpad to show up in your local Apple store anytime soon. Apple is notoriously family-friendly, and this is one accessory that's decidedly for adults."
Feminists will try to ban this, though; female social-sexual value will drop significantly, especially if sexual technologies as such continue to develop. What's the point of spending money on a human female when you can purchase a highly advanced feminoid sex machine?

Have you been watching videos with George Michael recently? He had a song about this kind of world.
Precisely - it's sickly humorous.
No, I haven't seen any of those videos. But the way holographic imaging is evolving these days, pornography should begin to be interesting on a whole other level.

Nah, they'll equalize the playing field by coming out with the I-dildo.
Women will finally be able to chat on Facefuck and fuck themselves at the same time.

Not like those old trains I used to ride from Sparta up to the Turkish border, when I was in the army. Couldn't afford a flight so I had to endure 20 hours of rickety-racket trains.
