The irony of words, exposing them as representations, is that the moment you have to declare yourself something, using words, you've already admitted that it isn't obvious, and possibly not true.
For example, an artist who have to declare himself a "brilliant" creative, unique, artist, has already admitted that this is not clear, or that it is not so.


What the word does is expose, by being the connector between noumenon, and phenomenon.
It points things out in world, to draw attention to them.
In the case of self-flattery, the motive is to draw attention to self when the creation, externalized, the behavior acted out has failed to receive the attention expected, or the degree of attention demanded.
A strong man does not have to say he's strong, because it's obvious to all who see him, or have witnessed him (inter)act.
The weak man declares himself strong.

A brilliant actor imitating someone does not have to say who he is imitating, who he is pretending to be, it is obvious. The not so talented actor states it, insecure about his talent, and intuitively aware that his act is poor, and he talents.
A beautiful women actually understates her own beauty, whereas an ugly women pronounces it, accentuates it to the degree she feels insecure about it, oftentimes painting her face like a clown, making it painfully obvious how not beautiful she is, more so because of how desperately she tries to hide the fact.

Let us consider the phenomenon, the congruity of patterns, we call dog, in English.
Chien in French, kυνος/σκυλι in ancient and modern Greek.
The Chinese symbol/word...[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].

The word/symbol is different depending on the code/language used, but the noumenon it symbolizes, the mental interpretation of phenomenon dog, is relatively the same.

Word/symbol refers to noumeon/abstraction which is a simplification/generalization (this is where relative fits in to describe varying levels of knowledge/perception = understanding) of an (inter)active, dynamic phenomenon, with a particular behavior.
The (inter)activity/behavior is not perceived equally - some see more details, others less, some have access to knowledge or instruments that can study said phenomenon microscopically, internally, adding nuances to the phenomenon dog, (I'm sticking with the English code/word for it) and some do not, some are deaf or colour blind, others are not, some are idiots, and some are not.
Some see dog, the particular, or dog as part of a broader pattern a species (canine), with similar behavioral (interactive) patterns.  

So congruity of patterns dog, perceived in more or less detail (more or less patterns perceived within the congruity), and dog as a congruity within a bigger congruity/pattern, called species, or breed....as a sub-category of species.  

Does the Chinese versus the French symbolization used to refer to the pattern(s) dog change the pattern(s) dog, the apparent... NO.
could it change how the individual relates to the pattern(s) dog...YES.
The shared meme established a code/symbol tradition, and a way of relating, reacting (learned, trained).
The genetic code, "written" in past, through trial/error (natural selection), establishes the genetic code determining the traits mental/physical, that is called canine - the range of probabilities for each pattern in the congruity, and how it relates with the other patterns.
How this genetic code emerges and interacts with other phenomena, establishes the particular dog - the personality of the aprticular dog....named, by a human to differentiate it form others of its kind...let's say Bingo.
Bingo the dog.

Breeds of dog are human creations, but not so in nature where we have breeds of species, as a result of genetic isolation, environmental conditioning, over time.
This is how species splinter-off from a common ancestor, gradually, producing intermediate behavioral/interactive types....in humans we call these races.
Species refers to reproduction, sexual replication....and so a dog is a population of organisms sharing a genetic code, behaving in similar ways, appearing in similar ways, within an upper/lower range of probability, that can use one another to combine their genetic codes - heterosexual reproduction.

So, a splintering-off of species, occurring gradually, still retains this ability to recombine genetic codes...like a grizzli and a polar bears, like a wolf and a coyote, like a horse and an ass, like a tiger and a lion and so on.
In this case the gradual splintering has not finalized, and yet we speak of different species.
In the case of humans the same.....races represent an unfinished splintering, that has not finalized.

But, back to words.
So, the word Dog, in any other language, is pretty straight forward, but what of more obscure abstract concepts, like the word "species", or the word "freedom"?
Here meme establishes the meaning, the manner the brain will connect different phenomena, into a singular concept, symbolized by one word, or one icon.  
This is where the common charlatan imposes his manipulations to take advantage of confusion, ignorance, stupidity, and cowardice.

Reconnecting words with noumena and phenomena, returns them to their utility as symbols/code connecting abstraction with the apparent.
This, immediately eliminates a huge part of the charlatan's sources of manipulation/exploitation - it disarms the fake, the word-smith, the priest, the con-artist, the typical magician.
But not all words can be so easily returned to their original utility, because some words are symbols referring to congruities of patterns, or are metaphors for them.
Μεταφορα, Μεταφερο...transport, in this case meaning....where meaning means how patterns relate how they (inter)act.

Inserting, what I've called a "Trojan horse" concept into such a combination of patterns begins the process of associating the rational with the irrational.
after continuos usage the mind will be unable to disassociate what does not belong together - often contradicting one another.
unable to trace back to the source of the confusion the mind will settle the contradiction, and the paradoxes it raises, with mysticism....
Mysticism covers the concept with a veil of vagueness, ambiguity, where each mind can place its own meaning - usually emotional, intuitive.
Mysticism blurs the concept, instead of clarifying them it clouds them so that the paradoxes are lost in the haze.
Emotion, pleasure, sensation deals with mental confusion.

Noumenon is now disconnected from an unruly, indifferent, unknown phenomenon, and attached to emotion.
Solipsism creates a sense of power, as both noumenon and emotion are controllable, under willful influence.
The word is converted to a magical icon, with magical powers over the mind...emotional in other words.
Organism feels empowered, its own authority.
Words now a conduit from one noumenon to another - one part of the brain triggering another - compartmentalization, schizophrenia.

Returning to dogs....the concept now can acquire a metaphorical mythological meaning, connecting the noumenon, dog, away from the phenomenon, but towards psychological esoteric sensations.  
Since the real no longer limits the mind, dog can be give three heads, named Cerberus, and given a metaphorical existence, referring to how human being relate to the unknown, or to patterns they are unable to integrate into abstractions.
Multiple congruities can now be metaphorically refereed to....their divergent meanings, including sensations, emotions.... transferred/transported to the singular image/icon, symbol.

Under the heading of anthropomorphize we must include the manner by which Modern Nihilists have redefined concepts like "value", "humanity", "love", "morality", "god", "one/nil".

Having detached the words from their wordy references, their meaning in reality, their noetic connections to phenomena, they substitute what was lost with an emotion, or an human abstraction, usually consciousness, or the organic focus of aggregate energies we call will.

Value, ceases to be a reference to a human objective, goal, ideal, measuring a phenomenon, an appearance, a presence, but it acquires motive, or an emotional component or an innate quality like will.

Humanity, detached from its original biological meaning concerning reproduction, becomes a mystical concept with its own identity, its own innate will, its own emotional baggage.

Love, losing its utility in reproduction, weening, and social cooperative unions, becomes a human emotion describing the divine, the absolute.

Morality, detached from its organic genetic roots, as a behavior facilitating social cooperation, and reproduction, becomes a universal, a divine force, a mystifying power.

God, disconnects from nature/past and is cast as a man in the beyond, willful, conscious, judgmental, loving/hating.

One/Nil, are mystified, changing them from symbols of binary logic, representational, approximations, into absolute things, being and non-being, good/evil, completed order/chaos.

Visceral power of words is perceived in a child's return to the lowest-common-denominator of his understanding of a phenomenon.
Distress also has the effect of regression to a primal, immature state.
Mind turns inward to deal with the outward, and from there it throws out threatening noises, formed into word; words associated with its basest instincts relating to what conforts it, and frightens it.
Fear closes off all unimportant brain processes, like stress shuts down body processes, pin preparation for fight/flight.

Source of fear is labeled with symbols, imagery, words, that come out of the most visceral parts of the psyche.
In modern times, where environment is entirely made up of human symbols, primal fear finds images, symbols, in memory, placed there by meme, to make sense of the incomprehensible, or what cannot be dealt with using any other means.
Cornered animals will attack, as a last ditch effort to survive.

Bottom<>Up thinking is this foundation on the "bottom", consciousness and "up" refers to the towards the underlying metaphysics and towards the desirable, ideal, the objective.


Nihilists, and men-children, begin from the ideal, and move towards the real, to selectively integrate it into their already established ideal, and their metaphysics, if they have any, is the extension of this process.
Because metaphysics deals with the imperceptible, the abstract it is placed before physics, and after their ideal.
Metaphysics lends itself to any mystification, the ideal requires to then make the real shape itself accordingly.
The word is how Nihilists begin because it is the abstraction of the Ideal - a pure noetic construct, metaphysics fleshed-out, to then place reality as an extension.
Reality is the end point, rather than th starting point, and ideal is the starting point rather than the end point.
Metaphysics is shifted to accommodate.

The realist deduces metaphysics form physics, whereas the nihilist deduces reality from metaphysics which is justifying the starting point, the ideal - the noumenon.
Ideal is now a foundation for the real, rather than the real being a foundation for the ideal.

Words begin with a disconnection form reality so as to then be used in mystifying ways, all based on the already established foundation.
Rather than connecting the noumenon to an uncertain phenomenal world, they connect a phenomenal world to a certain noetic ideal.
Nihilistic inversion.
Metaphysics are place above the physical.
Meme precedes genes.
Meme does not emerge out of genetic interaction with cosmos - flux - but gene, now, emerges out of the memetic idea(l).
This si why sexual roles and races are redefined as social constructs, as though there was never a period of no society = all is society.
Marxism
Society of humans.

Society did not emerge out of an organic reaction to nature, cosmos, but now flips causality, linear time, and can contradict reality.
Words did not develop to deal with world, but words ARE world.


Manipulating words is the same as manipulating world =- world makers,, world destroyers, all with the magical power of symbols.
Place a symbol on top of a natural phenomenon and you dominate it, you control its energy.

Delusion based on how words can manipulate and control human minds.
World = Humanity.
Humanity = natural agencies tapping into cosmic flows.
The natural antagonism of life with world, ordering with flux, is dismissed as a product of the organism's disharmony, its ignorance.
God = love, means just that. All is benevolent towards life, if life learns to submit, learns to tap into god's mind.
God speaks to man in every vibration, and the speech is meant to help - goodness.

All is good, if you inebriate yourself to a degree that you silence doubt, you repress the manifestation of ordering which is ego.
All is love, or some other positive symbol, words, metaphor.

Agon, of Hellenism, is converted to a fight with self.
Faith.
Hellenic asceticism is converted to Abrahamic and Buddhist asceticism.
How to tame the real.
The latter depend on a system of protection, allowing the ascetic to tune-out, to turn inward, and survive, or it must lie.
Christianity, and Islam, have become systems of hiding duplicity, learning it form their source-mother.
Say one thing, think a second, and act a third.

Soul/Spirit = a reference to the sum of all past nurturing, known and most importantly the unknown, expressed though intuition, instinct, genetic potential, or sub-consciously through dreams, when consciousness is repressed and/or underdeveloped.

Spirit is undying, in the organic sense, because the word represents a continuum - genetic/memetic memories.

For Moderns it has been used in place of the abstract, the idea(l).
An idea never dies if there remains at least one mind that thinks it.
God's "immortality" is based on the mass of believer's faith.
As long as there are believers god exists as idea.

Pure noumenon - what Nihilists call Divine.
Existence independent from mind placed below that of an idea absolutely dependent no minds.
Moderns choose ideal, in the conflict between real/ideal.
they do not dismiss the idea, as lacking, or an error, but they dismiss the real for failing to adhere to the ideals decree.
They need followers, a clan, a cult, a collective, otherwise their abstractions fade out of existence.

A realists is not so constrained....his ideas remain, whether he is alive or not, because they are connected to phenomena = patterns that existed before his birth and will continue on, after, for a time.
He needs no faith because reality is.
His only faith is in his own talent and ability to perceive it, and adapt to it, or exploit it.

It's always the simplest of words hijacked by Nihilists, to manipulate and exploit, because their target audience are the masses of simpletons, ignorant cowards, feeble spirits, mentally handicapped, the insane, and addicted, the ill and desperate.

Simple words with powerful psychological connections, and personal implications.

They want to mystify them, or shred them of all meaning, to make them less hurtful.
They are not interested in philosophy to attain clarity, but as another form of hedonism.
How to pleasure themselves better.

The magical power of the symbol, the word, can be traced back to the mental effect of patterns upon the human brain, and how belief and conviction works upon the body, through the brain.
Symbols have had profound impact on the mind of the human species, when it began to trace the shape of an animal on his cave walls.
The act must have seemed magical to him, as if the animal’s essence were transferred along with the shape.
Today we see symbols used in religion, having such an effect, not so different from the placebo effect, or when people get tattoos of Chinese symbols for “health”, or “courage” believing the symbols on their body will imbue it with the concepts inscribed symbolically.

We experience a similar conviction when Moderns declare a position "wrong" believing the word itself magically denounces a concept they cannot justify away, or how they think that by rejecting a word, with words, the concepts the words refer to is also destroyed - erased from existence - or that by degrading words/symbols you eliminate their magical power to bring into existence phenomena that frighten and disturb.

Magical power of symbols is known to Christians who use the cross to great effect.
Symbols touch the deepest part of us, because they stimulate the nervous system, of which they are a representation.
Their power does not go beyond the body, or the collective body of all those sharing in the code of semantics, but if it convinces it can be translated to an externalized action, motivating the human, as agency, to have an impact on world.

The only power a symbol has, verbalized or traces into a shape, a pattern, is psychological, and through this psychological effect ti can effect body, which, in turn, can affect world, through action.
"First came the word" meaning one first affect the mind of the one you wish to motivate into action.

A form of subtle coercion.

The human, effect of words, is also described by Orwell in his artistic way of describing a world where by twisting words, one can twist "reality", or by completely eliminating words form the vocabulary, makes the concept cease to exist - like freedom.
It is so.
Without the symbol the mind has trouble conceptualizing the abstract, because the abstract is a noetic construct, with no external references, or an amalgamation of such references into one.
How would man conceptualize the totality of processes and states included in the abstraction of "health" without the symbol/word?

The power to incorporate multiple concepts, a multiplicity of patterns into a singular symbol/word, or to contradict experience, negate it, with a symbol/word, makes the symbol appear magical to a mind coveting this ability in reality.
The mind convinces itself of its deepest desires given a minimum of stimulation.
A dying man grasps on the possibility of another man's healing words, chants.

Words = representations of nervous system, including the brain as processing hub.
Words = as memetic connectors, reflecting their relationship to mind/body, as representing nervous system, the connection between thought and action.

Theory = words shaped as intent.
Theory is not action.
It is strategy, plan, hypothesis, intent.

Words frozen in mind as intent with no pragmatic application.
words placed in strange configurations, when this application is impossible, or rendered impossible by such a casual rearrangement. of theory.
Impossible = unrealistic, irrational, unnatural.
Lacking possibility - space/time, existence.
No probability as probability is a description of limited possibility - degree of possibility.
A phenomenon must be possible, or already perceived as existing, to be then limited, wilfully, intentionally, as probability.

Theory is hypothetical possibility, never facing the application in reality, in space/time, within possibility.
It is abstraction, remaining in mind - shared, communicated, inspiring communal behaviour, but never manifesting outside the community of minds sharing the theory, the abstraction.
Theory manifesting indirectly, producing the necessity for pretence, lies, when idea(l) is contradicted by reality. The lie is shared, it become a part of the collective mythology - the all-encompassing theory.
Its range of effect is limited by the minds sharing ni its mythology, its theory, its implied and forever improbable ideal.
It directs minds - ambitions - towards its theoretical conclusion. even if it remains unrealistic, unnatural, in that it has no precedent, no past, remaining forever an improbable, future - idea(l) with no connection to past/nature.
Sensation, instinct, intuition, become passions (energies), for the movement towards. Their source are entirely esoteric, as they emerge out of cellular interactivity, acquiring a symbol, an imagery, from memory, which does not correspond to anything experienced - bits and pieces spliced together, sensation, feelings, connected, is often strange ways.


Irony - energies founded in past/nature, denying it, become detached/independent, from this past/nature, in theory.
The mind is convinced, it has faith, it believes.
Its world is THE world.
if sheltering is present, weak minds stand alongside stronger ones, with no external factor to cull them.
Genetic mutations increase in the herd, as mental delusions do.
One compounding the others.

When theory is contradicted by reality, the paradox is settled on the side of theory, when no external factor applies.
Its pragmatism, or lack of, settled within the herd.
In modernity it is settled as "right", as "deserving", as universal love.

With on external connection, words connect internally.
Their direction is esoteric.
Movement/motive is realized theoretically.

Stimulation, movement, ideal, all within the mind.
The external, the world of fluctuating (inter)activities is really a hindrance to free-associations.
An evil, to the goodness of the esoteric.
God now internalized as spirit.
God's will is not man's will.
Man is God, and he is independent from all external causality.

Theory is now god's kingdom - utopia/paradise, or some alternate reality reflecting personal desires, emotions, needs.


"I am what I am not" reflecting on sensual phenomena, becomes "I am" looking for reflections internally.
Reflections acquired sensually, but now rediscovered in their abstract forms as new - recombined in whatever pleasing way the mind has an innate talent for.

It was that a man discovered himself by engaging others - as a relationship with otherness - living and non-living.
This is no longer required.
He declares himself.
"I am god"
"I am genius".
Free from world contradictions, his words, his theory, is reality.
The relationship is esoteric, otherness becomes a source of reaffirmation of what has, in theory, been established as fact. Selecting what reaffirms is a matter of personal authority.

I, as master of my own internal domain, choose those who affirm my own theory of self.
My power remains unquestioned.

Words, as representation of the nervous system, are indeed, verbs.
They represent (inter)activity.
But not application.
Nervous system is controlled energy, awaiting release.
It is intent - nervous energy (libidinal).
As potential action it is not applied action.
Some words are active only within human brains - their application is forever esoteric, transmitted from one nervous system to the others, as intent, as theory, as idea(l), as potential movement, application.
It resides, forever, as such, when it is useless, outside human brains.
A theory that may inspire art, or sooth the soul, or comfort, or motivate indirectly, or help the organism cope psychoanalytically as a placebo, but as nothing more than that - religion.
it's indirect applicability is through a existent agency, such as the brain of an organism existing ni the real world. It must then contradict itself, make excuses, accuse otherness, if it motivates the organism.
The organism must lie to self, or contradict its own theoretical intentions, or keep them so vague as to man anything, adjusting the meaning of the words/symbols used to the organisms behavior, if it is to remain alive within a world the idea(l) has no reference to, has no pragmatic application.

Examples:
Obama being branded a socialist, when he is really a capitalist. Garnered socialist votes, despite not being that whatsoever. Today 'socialist' is fully embraced in popular culture as a 'democratic socialist'. Obama just had to be labeled it by the Republicans, and his dismissals were seen as clever mockings of the 'dumb Rightwingers'.

The label "gamer" being attacked or 'killed' in the GamerGate movement because of the promotion of video games in Common Core. The gamer culture interfered with the attempt to legitimize video games as a method for educating children.

Every word, idea, concept or 'ism becomes a brand which is marketed either negatively or positively. This is also why they had to label the "Alt-Right" so that the 'shadowy' aspects of Trump support were given a branding which could be attacked. That was also Pepe. They gave a brand to the stupid voter to simplify "/pol/" and generalize it. When 'Alt-Right' didn't work, they blamed Putin or Russia. They cannot label Trump as a "grassroots" movement, which it rightfully is, because of the positive connotation. They say, instead, populist. Populist is labeled as "[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]".

In fact, they saw the word "cuck" as another brand. Every label is a brand. Being branded, like cattle, with a label. Their way of dealing with negative branding is to dismiss it or to convert it into a positive. That's why you saw an attempt by a Super PAC during republican primaries to say "If being a cuck means I'm not hateful, then I'm proud to be a cuck". It is branding management, with no concern for what the branding represents.

Meaning, indicating the connectivity, the ongoing relationships (interactions), excludes internal data. Math and geometry is the objectification of phenomena to noetic construct that omits data coming from esoteric sources.
An implosion of the object, the phenomenon, to a singular symbol, a singular noumenon.
All participating dynamic patterns are assimilated into a singular effect – fluidity reduced to a static abstraction, representing congruity as a whole, a one.
In geometry the abstraction is given a spatial context, as a point in space/time, then connected by noetic lines – shortest intervening distance (smallest possibility).

We all know how a word "love" inappropriately used can connect the rational with the irrational, or can convert a noumenon referring to a observable phenomenon (objectivity), into a completely noetic construct (subjectivity), and affirm this self-referential practice as equal to the first (nihilism).
To escape the solipsistic implication the mind attempts to use numbers (popularity) to fill in for missing external validation.
The conversion is one of relating, or meaning, where meaning refers to how patterns, or congruity of patterns (phenomena) inter-relate, or (inter)act - how noetic construct, abstractions (noumena). relate (attract/repel), in unison.
Numbers, as used in science, eliminating all internal data (esoteric meaning), and imploding all patterns (inter)acting (phenomena)into a singularity - one, whole, thing, particle.
One is an abstraction void of internal influence - it is an abstraction completely referring to external data, for even when it turns upon itself it does so from the perspective of an external mind (will) engaging self as but another object in time/space.
This makes it the perfect symbol for any hypothetical external Will, such as God.
It is the theoretical other - other-than. Because consciousness cannot be conscious of itself without including itself, it noetically detached, becoming an other-than to itself (self-consciousness).
It's only method of perceiving self is through other - in reflection.  Other becomes the negative against which the self is perceived.
The alternative is a return to animal consciousness, with no sense of self - consciousness only of other.
In may meditative practices this is attempted by suppressing right-braiend activities, or silencing the frontal cortex, allowing the left-brain's synthesizing to dominate with no self-doubt, self-criticism, insecurity, judgment, discrimination - all becomes sensation, feeling, emotion, flowing with no discernible boundaries - merging into each other, with hues mixing and mingling in endless flow. Names. categories are meaningless - symbols have no place.    

The usage of a word like "love" to refer to a hypothetical, external other, an absolute Will, outside self (God), converts an observable, rationally motivated, behavior, into a sensation, void of meaning, to then attack it to internal data, processes, as feeling.
The esoteric is externalized, but projected beyond the observable, the experienced, the phenomenal, as a will outside time/space, or beyond human experiences.
From a word referring to observable behavior with particular meaning, it becomes a pure noetic construct that can be applied, by each individual, in whatever way pleases him/her, or at will.
Organic will, directing organism, and theoretical exoteric will are merged, and the sensation it produces becomes a definition of other.    
The theoretical, inexperienced absolute other, is experienced as self - sensations, feelings, emotions detached from presence and reattached, back to self, as externalized noumenon.
Consciousness approaching consciousness (self-consciousness) as if it were an otherness. in its primitive, immature, state, this is what has been called Bicameral Mind.
A child-like state, of emerging consciousness of self.
Third-Level Cognition, still unable or unwilling to proceed to the fourth-level. On this level the source of consciousness and self-consciousness are united from a more detached vantage point.
Mind perceives eye reflecting/seeing self in mirror/other as being one and the same in reference to what remains outside this relationship.  

Love, like pleasure, becomes an end in itself - an objective in and of itself (telos) - and because it can only be approached through other, other becomes the means toward this end.
Because the word/number (symbol) has already been, theoretically, detached from internal data sources, the mind is convinced that it is the ultimate object, the absolute being, explaining itself as a part of it.
Now the word rather than being void of internal influence is completely dependent on it - esrteric.
Abstraction, given a symbol, rather than representing relationship external to organism, becomes completely dominated by internal data, excluding all phenomena as inferential, but because consciousness is a relationship of self with other, and cannot be shut-off, not even in sleep, the mind must convert the external into internal constructs.
This is the first step towards perspectivism, or subjectivity, as it is understood by Moderns.
The world is imploded, but not as a singularity outside self (one), which also includes self, but as a singularity inside self, which also includes other.

When words are used in this manner they no longer refer to external relationships, between phenomena, or congruities of patterns, but refer to internal constructs, independent from the external, subservient to the organism's will (narcissism).
World becomes problematic not as a challenge to will, but as a contradiction to its already decided abstractions. Noumenon not adjusting to phenomena, but phenomena having to be integrated to already formulated and unyielding noetic constructs.
Words and numbers represent organic fabrications imposed upon world, not constructed in reference to it.
these fabrications maintain a rudimentary relationship to world, since they draw from memory (past experiences) data to be subdued and redefined - the younger mind becoming mature, confronted by the early experiences with its awakening to reality.
Maturing mind pulls back from its childish openness, and reinterprets its already experienced past in a manner a mind experienced with need/suffering can cope with (tolerate).
If a protective environment exists it can then return to world on its own terms - selectively.
If not, then the primal do-or-die comes into effect - organism either builds a thicker outer and inner skin, or it perishes.  

Instead of "love", already used in this manner, other words can be adjusted to serve similar roles.
More recently "value" has been detached and reattached, theoretically, in exactly the same way, for the same reasons, motivated by the same psychology.
Reattachment can now serve the user, as it not reengages world, after experiencing earlier need/suffering (pain), on its own terms.
The word/symbol can now be traces not to an external phenomenon but an internal one, because it represents the organisms private relationship with world, approaching world from the perspective of a wounded mind.
The word now refers not to phenomena independent from the organism's will, but phenomena, given form, imagery from experience, of the will's reaction to world.

If we return to word as symbol of the nervous system, connecting noumenon with phenomenon, then instead of representing meaning, as phenomena relating, imposing themselves upon noumena (challenge, threat), they represent noumena, guided by internal phenomena, given external symbols, imposing themselves upon phenomena- esoteric relationship of organ hierarchies projected over exoteric relationships of pattern (inter)activity.

Imagine a Buddhist monk, absorbed in his meditations, completely dependent on outside help, protection, nutrition, then imposing his in-sights upon those who feed, shelter, and aid him.
The conscious of world, offering worldly resources to him who is independent from world and offers, in return, comforting, psychological resources.

Returning words to their original function, would be similar to returning sex to its original function.
Though some creative playfulness, would be tolerated, the function itself, would not be denied, wrongly accused of being a fabrication - a playful turning of the tables.

Such a re-connection, would mean a clarification, a cleansing of cobwebs, accumulated over the centuries, confusing us when we are unable to follow the strands to their source, and find that they usually loop back, as Gordian, going nowhere - delicate little mind-traps, covering the eyes so the hands cannot pull them apart.
Re-conneciton as a return, re-membrance, a homecoming re-turn back to basics.
In all things seek to simplify.

A re-connection that would expose the metaphors as inserting unnecessary, and often contradicting, nuances, to establish them as synthetically harmonious and, in time, as inseparable.
Plagiarists and charlatans exposed inside their verbal cocoons, dreaming of becoming butterflies.

A cutting away, to allow Apollo to shine though the transparent, and burn away the fragile wisps of smoke, trying to imply a fire.

When the representations of the nervous system, symbols, reattached to phenomenon, the gods will be returned to Olympus, and we, humans, find our place within cosmos, not dreaming our selves above, or beyond it.

Each symbol refers to a single, or a congruity of multiple patterns, and not given casually as humans give themselves names hoping to embody the energies referred to.

What's in a name?
For a rose can only mean a rose when it names the processes man identifies, in world, as he finds them, and though he can name it something else this name can only refer to the same behaviors, and his relationship, (inter)actions with it.
