Fear or Pity?
For the egotist, unable to perform on a level that will inflate his ego beyond a certain level, it is preferable to be considered a hypocrite and a thief than to be exposed as being no more than a common fool and ignoramus.

Crippling Convictions
When a cripple is denied his crutches, he would rather lie down, refusing to move, than risk walking on his own, or suffering the indignity of crawling on his hands and knees.
This is evident in moderns when they refuse to define the words they use; refusing to make sense of the concepts supporting their convictions.
Choosing, instead, to sit there silently, cynically imagining themselves making sense.
Their condition declines – progressing from crutches, demanding that all use them, even if able bodied, to an idealized catatonic state, demanding that all become sleepwalkers, even those who are lucid.

Quality of Judgment
Value relates to ideal, as subjective relates to the real.
There can be no value with no subjective judgment, as there can be no idealism with no real world.

Judgment is the appreciation of the ideal, in relation to the real, or within the world.
It determines orientation and the path chosen.
Consequences, follow this choice and are the costs/benefits exposing the judgment's quality.
Consequence is the outcome of the application of a judgment. If survived it forces an adjustment, unless it is protected from its own errors, in which case the costs are postponed, until they accumulate into an unavoidable reckoning.

Modernity uses the herd mind to attempt to enforce some level of group think.
It shames and ostracizes, presenting the spectre of peer pressuring hatred as a threat, forcing the individual into a choice.
Does it cope with being hated by the majority of others, managing ridicule, slander, and social stigma, or can it live with the loss of integrity and the shame of being forced into hiding?
The dilemma is also based no herd psychology because even in hiding the shame is associated with the judgment of others.

Does a hunter feel ashamed because he chooses to smother himself in the prey's urine, or wear its skins?
No, he isn't, because he can wash and take off the skins of imitation he has covered himself with, and because his identity has nothing to do with the herd he depends upon for his life-hood, and their judgments are only event to his well-being because they indicate the direction the herd will go to find food to graze on, or what waterhole it will choose to drink from.

This is the only reason a hunter gauges the herd's general psychology, and its intentions.
Other than this he has no interest in their communications and judgments.

Memory is where past/present/future unite into a whole.
The concept of a unified whole only exists in the mind of a living organism, and has no meaning outside of it.
Outside the conscious mind there is only process, or patterned and non-patterned dynamic processes (inter)acting.
Order describes a process that repeats, and the rhythms and frequency determines how it will be interpreted by a conscious mind; the pattern's consistency, is its essence, and what we categorize as elements, particles, quanta, or types of matter/energy.
only ordered patterns are measurable, or can be perceived.
Of course this randomness and its imperceptibility depends on the duration and frequency of its periodic consistency, in relation to the observing mind's perceptual acuity and speed of processing - metabolic rates: systolic/diastolic cellular rhythms.    
Chaos describes processes that lack all rhythmic and frequency consistency.

Only if a process is ordered can it be perceived and stored as memory - making it a subject for study.
Only what can be stored and studied can be useful, or measured and given a value.
Value refers to this utility, or it refers to the repeating process', the pattern's rhythm in relation to the observing organisms processing speeds determining the base value of its measuring standard.
 
Whole refers to this memory, contained in the brain in the form of abstractions, as a singular unity, with a beginning and an end.

Pattern refers to such a beginning and end, repeating - a cyclical process: rhythm.
Without memory we cannot speak of wholes, but only refer to processes that either repeat or do not.
The error we make is to assume that the discovery of patterns repeating themselves for a duration equal to human memory, which would also include historical, documented memory, along with anecdotal, or personal memory, indicate patterns that will continue indefinitely - eternally.
When we do so we create a unity we call universe, within which we include patterns we assume will continue in space/time with a foreseeable final end, or with no end.
Eternity refers to this endless repetition of patterns held in memory.

Humanism rooted in the belief in a absolute beginning and end, meaning a start and finish to memory, placed in the mind of a theoretical mind - god - changes to a secular belief in memory continuing indefinitely, in the minds of humanity, making cosmos into another term for humanity.
Man makes of himself the preserver of cosmic memory - creator of a unified cosmos, i.e. universe, and since memory can only be stored in the form of code, or symbols (words/numbers), all begins and ends with the word: all is measurable, comprehensible when it can be given a symbol.
The counter-intuitive is ambiguously intuited, therefore it is given order, and unified, within the human brain.
Human is the new name of God, the creator of order, and unities, and the preserver of memories - survival.

Uni-verse begins when human memory, oral and then written begins - historical time is for humans the whole they call uni-verse.
This historical time/space is expanded forward, into the yet to be, and backward, towards the absolute point of departure, absorbing space/time into a historical singularity held together, as a whole, in human memory, which, now, ceases to be experienced memory first or second-hand, and is imagined, extrapolated.
When this occurs it becomes subject to human corruption - emotion, whimsy, desire, the erotic/thymotic elements in human nature; the attraction/repulsion of interactivity now directed by the human will, within each finding a different motive - movement towards an ideal.

Memories can now be manufactured, combined in whatever way pleases the organism, or gives hope to the attainment of his desired objective.
Memories with no reference to anything experienced, outside historical time, lacking precedent, void of the apparent, of presence.
In dreams memories lack all cohesion - time/space do not impose order, everything is easily manipulated by the human will, directed by what is, most of the time, mysterious even to itself.
Primal cellular imperatives emerge to direct, to take control, and consciousness is left to observe, surprised by is presented to it, as if it were coming from some external source, from an alien will.

Natural selection teaches us not only how the quality of a subjective interpretation of the objective world is resolved, with no theoretical debate, on the basis of costs & benefits, and it also resolved, with no words required, the issue of competing genes and memes.
In the latter case, when and if no human intervention skews the costs and the benefits with a motive outside the competing participants.
The only way any debate remains relevant, in a conveniently vague and theoretical level, is when an external power intervenes to equalize the benefits or to decrease the costs, selectively.

This is how sheltering from natural culling sickens a population by permitting unfit mutations to propagate, unburdened by the price of their errors, and the poor judgments that produced them, or by creating the illusion that all judgments are equal, because these is no severe cost to any inferior subjective interpretation of the objective reality.

Not surprising that moderns refuse to define the words they use.
If they did it would expose how delusional, hypocritical, ignorant, and emotional their ideals are.
To hide their "ought", and to pretend they are not lying, they have to slander all theories so as to protect their own from being exposed as being inferior.

Their ideals are as vague as the enemies they strawman and burn, imagining themselves great victors and righteous crusaders of good against evil.

Christians laymen did not really have to understand what Satan, within their own dogma,m represented, because then it would pull them into thinking connected to Prometheus, as the great benefactor, or the pentagram symbolizing the five natural elements, in paganism, or the goat, the male goat sacrifice, refers to tragedy, and the yearly cleansing of the city of bad omens, and so on and so forth.
Much easier for the simpleton Christian to vaguely understand Satan as some kind of evil that opposes a loving, one, God, who lies, where his God cannot but speak the truth, because his word IS truth.
Simpletons, throughout time, had to be given a bogeyman, something to fear, and hate; something to keep them disciplined, and comfortable.
Marxists had their evil capitalist pigs that exploited the poor working man.
Anarchists had their vile authoritarian government, a representation of a despised father figure, to replace their shame with pride.

Even simpleton pagans were given these anthropomorphic deities, spirits, to cope with the unpredictability of bad events, and the injustices of genetics.

Simpletons require simple either/or answers to cope with a world that terrifies them.

Rationalizing Visceral Judgments
Affirming and negating usually follow a judgment already passed, on an unconscious genetic level.
Then the mind must justify it within the present, within a memetic context.
If the expression of choice is denied memetically, the individual will find alternate methods of harmonizing this denial with his own genetic judgment.
The genetic ideal failing to be in agreement with a memetic one will fabricate ways to make them coincide.
Blurring the cognitive outlines, is the preferred way.
Contradiction ignored under a heavy screen of misty reasoning.
A women denied the right to say 'no', to express her natural sexual power, will fabricate a method of rejection that remains true to her genetic judgments within the limits of her memetic environment.
She may become more demanding, difficult, expecting the man to pass increasingly severe tests ensuring his failure, or the postponement of her submission; triggering frustration as a way of making the other reject her, as an extension of her already made negative judgment of him.
Culpability escaped when the other is made the agency through which her sexual choice is expressed.
A modern unable to defend his denial of race will postpone judgment, demand more evidence, will raise the level of overcoming his doubt to a point where it will never be surpassed.
Frustrating the threat he cannot defeat, hoping he'll make it give up and leave him alone; safe from race, or any part of nature, the real, that threatens his peace of mind.
Maintaining his self-identity as an 'open rational mind' he will take advantage of any opportunity to affirm his memetic ideal, by making it so difficult to convince him that failure is inevitable, on the part of the one who tries.
With every failure his own denial of race is affirmed, without him having to justify his own positions.
A humanist, desperate to abide by his memetic identity, will justify his discrimination, rationalizing his intuitive judgments in a way that harmonizes his genetic disposition with his memetic circumstances.
He will seek to protect his identity as a humanist, by finding reasons to express his visceral judgments indirectly.
Preserving his memetic identity of a humanist he will find justifications, excuses, and indirect passive-aggressive methods of expressing his inhumanity.

Conversely, if a genetic judgment is positive, affirmative, then both woman, humanist, and modern will go out of their way to excuse any flaws, ignoring any issue that contradicts their genetically established value judgment.
Stringent, demanding, reasoning become softer, yielding. They bend to lower the level needed to surpass them.
Skepticism is washed away, with a variety of justifications; postponement of judgment is replaced by an easy immediacy that just happens unintentionally.

Intuition uses reason to validate itself.
Visceral judgments, in the form of vague feelings, sensations, the body speaking to the mind, are focused by the mind, as light is focused by a lens.
This is top<>down thinking placing at the top of the pyramid; a choice already made on an unconscious, non-cognitive level then demanding to be justified, rationalized, validated.

Philosophy – Construction Project
Philosophy begins, like all serious construction projects, with a thorough surveying of the landscape.
It studies the environment it will begin building within. The environment directs the builder on what type of structure can be built there, and how to make it harmonize with the landscape. If the builder is aesthetically challenged, or chooses the landscape then his structure will contradict the environment, as something that pollutes or diminishes its beauty.  
A serious, aesthetically aware builder wants his structure to fit-into the environment, adding to its beauty; accentuating it, and bringing it forth, through his own utilitarian interventions upon it.
Then he begins digging into the ground to place a foundation.
This foundation is Metaphysics.
Once the foundation is laid down the structure can begin to be built, guided by the foundations. If the structure does not abide by the directions and dimensions of the foundations the structure will be crooked. Either the foundations have to be adjusted, or the builder must adapt his structure to the foundations he painstakingly laid into the earth he dug up.
The structure is the physical, dealing with the world, the real.
When both foundation and structure have progressed to the point where the builder can reside in his structure he may choose to decorate the structure with details, or go on trips, returning to the structure after every outing, or he may choose to hold parties in the structure.
Whatever he chooses to do we have now entered the context of what one should do with the structure – its utility.
A talented builder implies utility with the architecture and the structure’s arrangement and decorations, built in alignment on a strong durable foundation, in harmony with the environment.
Philosophers begin either with a structure, or, the more thoughtful ones, with a foundation, but they never begin with an “ought”, a utility.
Religions do this, particularly the nihilistic ones. They begin with an “ought”, an ideal lifestyle, and then they manufacture a structure around this “ought”– sometimes not bothering to dig into the ground to construct a foundation.
This is top<>down thinking, characteristic of all nihilistic artifices.  
Their structure, lacking a foundation, or built in misalignment with a flimsy structure directed by their ideal lifestyle, what kind of life they dream of living, will crumble with the first high wind, or earth tremor.  
Abrahamism, and Marxism begin with the utility and then manufacture a structure, before digging a shallow foundation.
Then they have to patch replacements for each piece ripped down by the environmental conditions. What matters to them is the “ought” – the ideal lifestyle they dreamt off, and built a structure to accommodate.
They are proud of the number of people that visit, ignoring the patchwork aesthetics, of their ongoing project – repairs adding over repairs, calling it a work in progress, or progressive.  
Serious philosophy is about the structure (physics) and the foundation (metaphysics) being in agreement, in harmony, and usually does not bother with utility, with any should, or “ought”, because each individual who will take residence in the structure can give his own utility to it.  

Taking this outside the context of the metaphor, we can repeat the same concepts as such:
Philosophy describes world, as it is, the physical world, and aligns it, if it strives for integrity, with a metaphysical foundation.
It does not necessarily give direction as to how to use the descriptions, although many great philosophers do, or insinuate such applications indirectly.
Application is, for a philosopher, a secondary issue, not his primary concern, because application is dependent on the particular traits and ideals of the individual. It is the individual who must adjust himself to the description, in accordance to his strengths and weaknesses, and his own goals.  
Utility is the realm of religion and politics, and it only follows the description.
The description does not follow the utility, as it does for Nihilists, or Moderns.

Life emerges out of world, not world out of life – the subjective emerges from the objective real, not the objective real from subjective consciousness.

This is why I have remained on describing world, and constructing a foundation to support my observations, and rarely direct others to specific application of my description.
I do so, somewhat, in some places, like Timocracy, or I imply utility without going into details.
I know that world can only be dealt with individually, and only the individual himself can know himself, or can create his own goals, within a shared world.

I, for example, describe what beauty, or love, or humanity, is....I don't tell people what to do about it.
I am not a father, or guide, or shaman, or guru, nor do I aspire to be a priest, or a leader, of any kind.
Let those with such ambitions direct and offer guidance.
I describe....as I would any natural environment.
If I were to describe a jungle, and the many creatures living in it, I would not tell anyone what to do about it, or what direction they should take in the jungle, or how to deal with specific life forms, within it.
Weaklings want more than descriptions. When they read philosophy they are looking for a religious experience, or a political manifesto.
Most do not understand the description, so they simply want to be told what to do about what they do not comprehend.
They do not even apprehend the insinuations, the subtle guidance slipping through the writer's description. They want clear, commandments written on stone, or a little red book to put in their breast-pocket and refer to on every occasion of stress.
How else would Abrahamism and Marxism be so popular?
They don't really care about world, of philosophy, but only want to be told, given a destination and a route to get there. They want to be taken by the hand, by a parental figure, and taken somewhere fun and safe, and great.
They want someone else to build the structure, dig up the foundations and then, also, be told what to do with it.

Agreement/Disagreement
Just as a paradox is the consequence of taking the symbol (word/number) literally, rather than figuratively, exposing a conflict between noumenon and the phenomenon it interprets, and represents, so is an error the consequence of a contradiction between the subjective interpretation of reality, and the dynamic fluctuating inter-activities of reality itself.
If we use the word 'objective' to refer to the goal of approaching perfect alignment, then an error indicates a misalignment. The size of the error indicating the size of the misalignment, between ideal and real.
Cost is the consequence of this disagreement, just as benefit is the consequence of agreement.

Wheels & Ball Bearings

We use the invention of the wheel as a milestone in human advancement.
Walking, with its step by step, causality, replaced by the continuity, of linear flow.
The wheel became a symbol of existence in many spiritual and philosophical canons. Man’s thinking reflecting this advancement.
The ball bearing is the development of the wheel concept. Another milestone in human innovation. A cognitive advancement from the fourth to fifth level:
Levels of Cognition wrote:
This is the First Level of Cognition, corresponding to Psychology's First Level of Intentionality:
Consciousness – Subjectivity of the First Order (Primitive Organism).
A Line

Then, from this, the organism imagines (projects) himself on that point, and perceives itself perceiving.
The organism has made of itself a noetic point in space time.
This is the Second Level of Cognition, corresponding to Psychology's Second Level of Intentionality: Self-Consciousness – Subjectivity of the Second Order (Higher Organisms).
A Triangle

Then, the organism begins to imagine itself imagining itself imagine, a third party triangulating upon a point in space/time.
The two triangles side by side form a square, or a rectangle.
This is the Third Level of Cognition, corresponding to Psychology's Third Level of Intentionality: Objectivity of the First Order (Advanced Organism).

Then, the organism begins to imagine itself imagining itself imagine a third party triangulating upon a point in space/time, where all, including its own triangulation are part of a whole.
It has projected itself outside all triangulations.

If you offer a theory describing how species evolve, including the presence of human races, as you would include the presence of types within a another species, all in accordance with Evolution Theory, you will receive angry assaults, or casual dismissive cynical ridicule claiming that a process that occurs independent from how minds interpret it, is, somehow dependent on how each individual interprets it.
Something that occurs outside the mind, and does so even if there is no mind present to interpret it, is now reduced to a human concept that is dependent no how each individual chooses to understand it.

Same thing happens when you offer a theory about another 'triggering topic' like homosexuality, or morality.
You can place it within Evolution Theory, using evidence or reason, and the other will casually dismiss it on emotional grounds, offering nothing but the denial - no alternative, no more rational theory to explain the same phenomena....just a refusal, accompanied with cynicism, and word-games, claiming it's all subjective, or there's not enough evidence to make any conclusions, or simply rejecting your theory because someone is hurt by it, or they do not like it.
They have no alternative, because it would expose their quality of mind, and their motives, an their lies, but only attempt to slander you and your theory, using subjective criteria....to hide this they accuse you of what they are guilty of: emotional motives, like hatred, or of trying to impose your subjective viewpoint on others, within nothing but your likes and dislikes backing them up.

This is hypocrisy and cowardice, at its best.
This is nihilism: Liberalism, Marxism, Arahamism.
This is the last-man, the Modern.
But not the last wo-man - feminization.

So, how do Moderns explain speciation with no intermediate process manifesting as sub-categories that, over time, split into completely different species?
They don't.
They only critique and try to silence the ideas that threaten their comfort zones.
they only try to promote the feel-good hypothesis that Evolution works in any way feels good, to each individual, and that it adapts to the subjective demands of each and every human.
There is no beauty, as preexisting the eye that beholds, because this would make the ones feeling insecure about their own aesthetic appeal, and fitness, feel threatened and exposed.
They will not define beauty, because they cannot, or will not without appearing foolish, and desperate, but they will also refuse any definition that threatens them, offering no reasons other than the concept that beauty is dependent on the mind perceiving - not that the mind evolved to perceive what we call beauty, and to appreciate it, as part of is own survival, but that it manufactures it, out of thin air, and that beauty is whatever each human, individual, excluding all other species, decides that it is.


Like Christians reduced love to a meaningless concept, because all deserve it, so do they attempt to reduce all words that make them feel bad to a meaningless concept.
Instead of placing it within reality, in the world, they want it to be about a particular instance, a specific individual.
Though, some claim to be reasonable, empiricist, and devoted to the scientific method, they imply that nothing general can be said about populations, like species, like groups, because they are made of individuals that fall under no category.
a specific science, and philosophy, has to be written for each and every individual human ever born, or will ever be born.

But then how does marketing, psychology and politics work, if this were the case?
They would be ineffective because they, like all the sciences, build models using samples, that apply to all members in a particular category, and do not create one for each individual.

How could we speak of humanity, if we think this is so?
How could we think of any category, in any field, if we accept this as a fact?
If human is not a species designation, then what is it? Is it an idea?
Is it an organism that can vote, or that can use words, or that can manufacture clothes, and symbols, to cover its primate body with?
Covering the genitals has served to conceal the true "civility" of man, throughout the ages.
Has language extricated man for nature, erasing his entire past?
Is human conditioning, training, education, his avenue out of his own nature - does it erase centuries of nurturing, with a few years of nurturing, or does it repress and hide it beneath hypocrisy?

They do not offer an argument, or an explanation as to how race is a product of social engineering and bigotry, but they only ridicule what cannot be contradicted in each and every thinking mind.
Do thy offer a alternative scenario to how species evolve, to replace the "bigoted" one that implies gradual a gradual split, due to genetic isolation, over time, creating intermediate stages of divergent potentials, exhibited in appearance?
No.
Do they offer a reason why appearances do not matter only when it comes to the human species?
No.

What do the masses laugh at?
At what they cannot rid themselves of, in private.

Temporal attrition - the ongoing repulsion/attraction of a unity, relating to fluctuating interactivity, does not stop.
It is ceaseless - agon.

When it decreases to a tolerable level, it drops out of consciousness.
The organism is relieved by this, and another need takes its place, demanding a similar relief.
Need is the rising of the consequences of attrition to a level where the organism becomes aware of it. Then, if sufficiently dealt with, it decreases, dropping out of consciousnesses.

Need does not end, it rises in and out of consciousness depending on its degree, relative to the organism's strength: the sum total of its aggregate energies.
To become stronger is to raise the level need must surpass before it becomes problematic to the organism.
There are two ways to accomplish this:
1- Habituation. The organism becoming used to a level of need to the point where it can ignore it.
This is not a solution, because need left unsatisfied rises, until it goes above the organism's comfort level - whether this comfort level is natural, part of its genetic tolerance to pain/suffering, or it is cultivated with ascetic practices.
2- Strengthening. The increase of the organisms's aggregate energies so that the degree of attrition required to produce a level of need increases, making all levels beneath it tolerable levels - comfortable.

Pleasure is the sensation of alleviating need/suffering.
Gradual or immediate, the sensation is one of relief - the latter being felt as orgasmic, ecstasy.
The potential for a immediate or a gradual relief is determined by the nature of the need - if it is primary, a product of lack, or secondary, the byproduct of lack, or superfluity, abundance, requiring expulsion.

Then echoes would return back to him, repeating what he spoke to the walls, to the bland surfaces, and hearing therm, his own echoes, pretend they came from a divine source, speaking a secret truth, glorifying him.

Only in systems where monogamy is imposed on both sexes is a male forced to become more feminine in both his demeanor and his method of investing in a offspring and evaluating a mate.
Only because the system, to integrate as many males into it, as possible, restricting the number of females a male can fertilize, and imposing upon him a cost, holding him accountable, or forcing him to be a long-term investor, does the choice of mate also reflect the male's quality, and his own self-evaluation - his self-esteem.
Hypergamy..
A woman must mate up the social status hierarchy, or at least remain true to her own....and not fall beneath it.
It's the only way she can increase her genetic and memetic value - through her reproductive identity and role.

He will remedies this by placing an unsurpassed master above and beyond all earthly suffering and present himself as the one who suffers and endures most beneath his yolk, because only he has acknowledged such a master, and was the first to surrender and enslave himself to him.
The other slaves, including his earthly master, will resent his new ploy, wanting to gain from it the pride it has bestowed upon the lowliest slave, and when denied such privileges their resentment will increase, adding to the lowliest slave's suffering, increasing his slave status in a world of slaves and with one master.
As the master's favourite slave he will attempt to enslave his fellow slaves.

Tolerance and enduring suffering will be the only source of power.

A contentious claim to make, when species such as this can find offence at the mere suggestion of it, but one I can only make sincerely.
The desire to own, was developed in equal proportion with my desire to be owned, which is to say not very much at all.
Not to any degree moderns could relate to.

What I enjoyed the most is the idea of capturing and releasing, after a few modifications have been made - my markings engraved.
Someone once accused me of being a collector, which I thought was presumptuous of her, because I've never desired to keep anything for myself.
A fact I continue to be amazed by, when I see it developing in relation to my own son.  
The idea of a chrysalis manipulated in its cocoon, surprising me when it emerges, excites me.
Releasing what has been kept hidden and imprisoned, tied down, is always a thrilling act of my own release.
Playing god, I suppose, with creation.
The role of gamma came naturally, before I knew of such banal sexual categories. I have cultivated desirable traits in others, only to watch them gratifying those I had no need to associate myself with.
This makes me a poor leader, I suppose.
I cultivate what is present, and let it bloom, wanting nothing more than for it to amaze me.

A creator can feel anger when his own creation fails to meet his expectations, but this is the risk of creativity.
What you synthesize and combine, no longer belongs to you.
It becomes something only others can completely enjoy, and benefit from.
To the creator it can only be a relief, battling with the desire to perfect, and to direct.

An artist must know when his work is done, and stop meddling.
Self-Discipline on a level only a good parent can appreciate.  
The work, itself, pulls away, wanting to break free from its creator, who must let go of it.
Then, it acquires a life of its own, or is given a life by those who greedily pull it toward them; hungry to feed upon the effort and time that went into bringing forth its beauty.
The creator is then made love to through his loved creation.
He is flattered and adored, remaining obscure and in the shadows, watching adulation and appreciation in faces that would not recognize him if he stood next to them.
A sweet sorrow envelopes the heart.

If he is conscientious and hard working he will nurture his seedlings; care for them, helping them survive weeds and droughts, or torrential downpours.
If not, he will rely on chance, and planting quantities, and variations of the same, hoping some will survive and bear fruit.

Farming is a return to a pre-pack hunting strategy.
The pack hunter had no patience. He ran his prey down, forcing it to select itself from the herd.
He set-up ambushes for his intended prey.
He did not wait. He chased.
Farming, like the lone hunter, is a solitary occupation demanding a lot of patience, and study.
A return to a time of solitary foragers that waited for their prey to show itself, and had to remain omnivorous in times when preference had to give way to need.
The pack hunter specialized, because it did not have to wait, nor settle for alternatives.

Farming is a return to solitary foraging, and omnivorous diets.
Farming does not run its prey down, it cultivates its willingness to appear and present itself for the slaughter.
It sets traps.

Lone wolves are a contradiction in concepts.
Wolves perish on their own.
The true lone hunter would have to be omnivorous, patient, and able to cope with larger prey, and multiple antagonists, or it would be swift, discreet, and clever, able to compensate for size, and quantity of nourishment, with quantity, and efficient kills.

A farmer is a lone forager.
He has only nature to battle against, and only himself to rely upon, and to blame.  
He plants, and if the crop is poor he makes do with what he can salvage, to make it through to the next year.
He plants, and studies, selecting, discriminating, choosing, in preparation for environmental surprises.
He waits, like the lone hunter, incrementally increasing his chances, sharpening his tools, and his methods, never knowing what will emerge when he plants his seeds, or sets his traps.

We use metaphors that are most agreeable to those we wish to approach.
We call our rejection of the multitudes a wolf-spirit, wanting our more discriminating social instincts to be accepted into a smaller, more intimate group.

I too wear wolf skins, covered in lamb wool, so that if I am peeled free of my pretenses, something tolerable will be revealed.

The bear's solitary strength, no single wolf could match, has to be reduced down to its small, button eyes, and its fluffy, girth and roundness - it must be called Teddy, in harmony with its cuddly mass, and its rounded softness.

When trying to present our independence it is the wolf we use as our symbol, when it is the bear's spirit, we cannot relate to, that frightens us the most.

Artistic Strength
Strength to take and to hold, to own, as one deserving.
This is the common way we relate to power.

What of the power to release, and to know that what is let go of, will flourish best, outside your hands; to step back so that your shadow does not prevent the sun from reaching its leaves; to push away from your imposing energies acting like poison on its developing roots?
Capture and release, wanting only to see what had been in your hands, swim and play, and be.

An artist creates not to fill his private spaces with beauty belonging to himself, and to those he invites into his home. He creates and lets it go to find its way towards its own destiny.
Who shall admire its beauty, find joy at its sight, feel pride owning it, for a short while?

Miser's spirit is denied, allowing generosity to enjoy the loss, for the sake of curiosity.

Spirit of creativity must let go, to make room for the new spilling out, uncontrollably.
The miser hoards, afraid that he will never find its equal again.
He collects, unable to create.

It's a risk, a man takes, when he makes a decision.
Has he measured the circumstances correctly, has he seen all that is before him, has he missed something?
He takes a chance, and acts, losing the choice of whether he will accept or reject the consequences...good or bad, costly or beneficial.

A fool chooses to only see the benefits, ignoring the costs, or pretending they too are beneficial, and part of his intended outcome.
I say fool because he, with this act, condemns himself to repeat the same errors.
He cannot adjust his actions because he cannot differentiate between what he expected and what he produced, or he is too egotistical, too fragile, to be so severe.

That is not to say that all men do not accept a measure of the unexpected in every decision made, but this is different from failing to change your methods and take on more unexpected consequences.
Unable or unwilling to discriminate between what he judged and expected, and what surprised him, in a good, or, more often, a bad way.

The subject is a dancer, moving to the objectives fluctuating rhythms and rhymes.
He tries to keep step, moving in time, knowing he can never be completely in the moment, but always a few steps behind.
