When you realize the "genius" of this guy, you can look down upon everything else from a "safe distance". He is so abstract, Andy Warhol of music that nobody can grasp what he is about. He is the embodiment of "cool", some have the talent of looking more talented than they really are. Being a detached clown is very original and respectable. Wouldn't want anyone "harshing my mellow", music is all about being lighthearted and mellow, detached from "negativity".

I don't like the new vocalist from Despondency, I prefer the cold and monotone vocals of AJ Magana from Chapters of Repugnance and the whole album has this atmosphere of historical cruelty/punishment/humiliation which makes it unique and not typical gore slamming.
The way these drums are recorded is great though. I don't remember hearing artificial harmonic pinches that much before

The "Pioneers" of Slamming, equivalent of Aborted who popularized breakdowns (not to confuse with slams)
There's something so iconic about this album cover, represents the narcotism and perversion of the modern society. The vocals are very moist, like having a throat filled with blood. I don't think this is nihilism, because I can feel the disgust and hate, it's not glorying "the scourge of the society". It has this " Taking everyone down with me " mentality.
