What are the origins of the word "ame"?

Tame: To subjugate reduce the fire in one's spirit.
Lame: To cripple, remove the ability to move.
Game: To numb the pain of competition, war without tears.
Same: To homogenize, group together, make everyone the same.
Name: To reduce an identity down to a bunch of words.
Shame: To reduce one's pride, make one feel small.
Came: A term, to indicate the journey and event is over, you have arrived, or sexually speaking, that the sexual thrill is over. This is past tense, as in, I came to the amusement park, as opposed to, I am at the amusement park.
Dame: A woman, women are often married to men for their money or personality, often stuck in marriages without true genuine sexual thrill, only a tamed down idea that they ought to be grateful.

The only word that does not match here is FAME. However, with Fame, one often must censor what one says and not be true to one's desires.

It may be an English derivative of the French aime - friend, love.
To bring closer, to reduce the alien to the intimate.

From Middle French ame, amme, from Old French ame, anme, anima, from Latin anima. Compare also Gothic

Makes sense, except for lame, but I guess crippled people are closer to their families, so it could be argued as such.

I googled it, it says ame is french for soul, I guess a crippled person is closer to his soul since he cant move, similar to how a sick person is more intune with their soul. A tamed person, would be closer to to his soul, out of subjugation, an inward desire to escape, a game captures the soul of competition, the core of the competitive spirit, a dame more inward focused on soul, fame is motivated by one's soul's desires, so I guess soul is the key thing binding these together, a name is said to be the soul of a person in some cases. Came, after you leave a place, it is imprinted onto your soul, although perhaps I am stretching.
