It's on again.


I heard the 2026 one was given to the US/Canada/Mexico trio.
A couple of matches will be played in my city.

In this one I am rooting for Germany.

When I was watching the World Cup I always preferred watching the South European or some South American national teams. They seemed to have more of a fluid match. The Northern European teams used to be more methodical and more defensive which made it less interesting for me to watch but that probably also has to do with me not appreciating the tactical aspects of football, I never got into it very much.

Yeah, everyone is reveling in this victory around my parts as if it was some grand accomplishment despite the 1 point difference. Still, what with my father yelling at the players and commanding them constantly throughout the game, and my mother screaming, couldn't help overhearing the score.

The only game I cared about was the one against nigeria, as I had the opportunity to yell "YEA WE SHOWED THOSE FILTHY NIGGERS" in a full bar. The reactions were mixed.

Having watched all of Germany's games, I am not surprised by her premature departure.
Germany came to the current World Cup with an old team. Renewal is always necessary.

Look at Argentina, and Spain is not performing as she did in the past.
