And there happens to be a trend among men in Asian countries where marrying animals and inanimate objects has become a popular alternative to vaginas.

There's a Korean man who married his pillow, an Indonesian man who married a cow, and a Japanese man who married...(what else would a Japanese man marry??)...his favorite video game character...

I don't get what the issue is against it, if you are a liberal pseudo-intellectual, feminist, douche-bag.
They met all the criteria: they are not hurting anyone...well not immediately 9and immediacy is all these turds can understand), they have a "right" (a god given one or a one given to them by law) to do as they please if they do not "hurt" anyone.

Furthermore, the object of their "love" also meet with the criteria of these liberal fucks: they are purely judged on appearances (any prejudice against them is derived via sensual information), they exist, giving them the "right" to experience anything they wish, except when it does not hurt anyone else, and they are passive and tolerant of others.

I think we have a winner.
If a fag can marry an other fag, to bang until death does them part, up the arse, then why does not a douche-bag have a "right" to marry a cadaver or his cat or a rock or a tree?

Will these pseudo-intellectual hypocrites think less of them because they did so (what bigotry) with these people's choices affect their assessments of them and their behavior towards them (what ironic intolerance)?

It also goes to show what's going on psychologically...

Relationships have become meaningless, marriage is nothing but an everyday commitment broken on the same night the vows were professed, and modern, feminist women have become replaceable, so men are no longer seeking the promise of reproductive success or lifelong partnership...

And this somewhat correlates to what maryshelley posted of the girl who was held captive for so long as a mere object to be possessed and kept from being able to leave him...

The man was psychologically distressed and wanted a deep connection that could only be achieved through total submission from that of a servile, artificial relationship of a young girl, because women would refuse, or be more likely to dominate him.

Notice how women are not out marrying objects---this is a strictly male phenomena.

Edit: I take that back...there are women doing this 0_o

but they consider it a psychological disorder, usually autists prone to obsess over certain things and eventually developing affections for their obsessions. Imagine having this type of disorder, and trying to form real relationships with people, who are unpredictable, functioning according to their own self-interests, and overall unable to fit into the autist's spectrum of control. It would be impossible.

Perhaps there truly is a very thin line between 'love' and zealous obsession. To desire to be desired, be the one and only without doubt, or a change of heart on behalf of the other. The idea that any human could fulfill this delusion is a ticket to madness.

Men do happen to be more controlling and domineering sexually (obviously), and so probably carry the most inner turmoil regarding lack of submission and turn to violence and abuse.

Yes..you are getting it...and the men that do, do so because they are below average in genetic appeal and so make great compromises to achieve what for others comes easily.

Furthermore, who needs a wold-cat at home when life is difficult to begin with.
The myth of a challenging mate is a bullshit one...one meant to excuse being a bitch or a bastard.

A mate is supposed to be a comforting support, not a damn exercise, after it has been established.
But, it is...because humans are always looking for the better or always testing what they've got for weaknesses - never happy.

The only exception is in the kind of monogamy I've described, one also based on necessity, where a heightened awareness results in a more discriminating palate and so a more higher standard....this is particularly evident when it comes to females because, after all, they hold sexual power.

What's up mon? Remind you too much of your school days?

Not part of the cool 'in group'; not so geeky as too be completely marginalised (and therefore 'free') but stuck somewhere in the middle. Suburban limbo. No struggle with poverty or major dysfunction but a slow, chipping away; aided and abetted by a litany of petty humiliations.

The girls are another country; knowing, provocative, contemptuous in the main. The cool kids equally contemptuous of their easy targets, a strategy which successfully withdraws attention from themselves. The tables can turn so easily; the laughter turn in their direction.

Parents and teachers? 'Nuff said.

Most of the set pieces actually experienced by the writers directly; almost verbatum.

You gotta laugh, right? At least it's not 'Skins' in the city.

Thanks god for the small 'band of brothers' keeping you sane, eh?

Maybe 'This is England' is more your thing? comedy with a bit more working class grit?

Inbetweeners is certainly closer to what I experienced, but i think that kids like that are dickheads. I was anyway.
I do prefer this is England '86, although it is far removed from my experiences.

The point is everyone at school is a dick head it's just that some are able to conceal it more. Perhaps i should add; by degree.
