Religious fanaticism is the reaction of the political Right. Thus I believe more and more will flock to old and new cults and superstitions, hoping that they can save them. But even these, most will fail. The older institutions have the lasting power. This is why I look at what modern US Catholics are saying, like Michael Knowles for example, and contrasting him to Ben Shapiro, as a counter-example. These would represent the "Center Right" and "Center Left" respectively.
Also, recently in the News, Biden's abortion stance is conflated and confused. The MSM cannot square their political fanaticism with religious (Catholic) structure.
As-if Catholicism could tolerate Abortion in anyway.
