As I said many years ago, I stand outside this binary.
I will challenge both sides of this paradigm because this is the nihilistic paradigm - 1/0.
Once you begin to think in those terms, you are enslaved - or, to be more precise, once you remain trapped within this infantile binary, you are encased in its womb.
I referred to it as "positive" or pure nihilism.
The "positive" being, by far, the most popular because it is the most seductive, most hopeful, most able to offer false concepts that, if they actually did exist outside minds, would nullify existence itself. That is the point.
A way "out", an escape....salvation the Abrahamics call it, in whatever way they envision it, e.g., Christians and Muslims as an eternal life in paradise, after death, a return to oneness, and the Jews as eternal death, and a return to non-existent existence - a return to the oneness of the divine, the nil. This is their burden.....that they must suffer. To negate all, including themselves, in the name of the divine, so as to never to suffer existence again.

"Positive nihilism" is a linguistic contradiction, because nil and one are abstractions that can only exist as ideas, represented by symbols/words. they don't actually exist outside minds and organisms that use representational language.
The obvious contradiction represents this dissonance between mind and the body it emerges from, when it is infected by a defensive dogma, founded on the acceptance of the representational as being literal.

I doubt giblet, has really "thrown in the towel", or given up the prospect--despite having pointed out to him that he most likely suffers from a cognitive disorder or some level of retardation--that he might still speak rationally with a stunted deranged mind, obsessed with current political affairs and placing philosophy in the context of leftist mainstream news narratives. For him "philosophy" is about pop cultural political gossip, the latest modern narratives and how we feel about them, or don't feel about them, or maybe we are wrong about our feelings and existing and thinking, or maybe not.

Anyone who wastes more than a week on this hypocrite is either too stupid to realize the 'game' being played, or indulges some psychological need by conversing with what is, obviously, a deranged mind that reads nothing posted and simply repeats the bullshyte he was given to deal with his life's disappointments.
