Americanism - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Americanism Americanism - Page 6 EmptyFri Feb 21, 2020 1:27 pm

A response to Trump's confusion.
It's because Hollywood is now feminizing past films to adhere to the new code, and cRAP music is all about inserting a linguistic narcissistic tirade in between sampled melodies.
American creativity is non-existent.
Remakes and samples and reinventing the past.
In time Hollywood will be replaced by Bollywood, and eastern pop-culture.
Imagine that. They can't.

Let's see what they do with the remakes of Dune and Matrix. It's an endless recycling, and reselling process.
No innovation. No creativity.
No imagination.
Feminized.
Watching these award shows makes me appreciate how the pop-industry, in the U.S., is now given over to Negroes and feminists.
I watched part of the Oscars and the Academy Awards, this year. Never again.
I thought I was watching an African award show. Wall to wall blacks complaining about being under-represented, and women spouting-off their post-modern propaganda - a few cuck white boys, doing what they are told, if they know what's good for them.
I wonder if women were the only ones that experienced Weinstein's casting couch. These degenerate have no morals or qualms. All they have are unsatisfied desires, and corrupted spirits.
Negroes have no creativity. All they can talk about is pussy and money...oh and about slavery and racism.
How else would a Korean film win? They are now outsourcing creativity, because they can no longer import it to replace their own atrophying imaginations.
It takes an imagination to even consider an Asian outperforming a European's creativity. Asians are not known for their innovation - despite higher, on average, I.Q's.
It can only be explained as another symptom of America's impact on European manhood.

It's all part of the "meritocratic" Cabal.
Some would call it 'moral nepotism' where 'morality' remains within Judeo-Christian definitions and ambiguities, not to speak of the paradoxes they call 'magical' or 'mystical', hinting at something deeper and profound...something that defies human reason. So, anything imaginable, really.
The superstition of 'altruism' on a grand socioeconomic level.
The funny thing being that even those professing to be Nietzsche's followers pretend to be 'generous' gift-givers, not even recalling what this implies. This requires a very selective interpretation of text; a very selective memory.
Nihilists and Abrahamics are masters at text re-definitions and reinterpretations.
Just check-out the centuries of "Biblical studies", and how ambiguity could be given a spin to keep it up-to-date with modernity.
Modernity is a shifting state of mind. Every generation has been 'modern' during its ascent and dominance of culture - they interpreted history and philosophers of the past in whatever way they desired or was in-line with their 'ideals'...so every age has its 'moderns'.
This is how I use the term, i.e., a perpetual state of remaining updated to fashion and moral trends (inter-subjectivity) with no stable, long-term standard to prevent degeneracy: the elites that condemned Galileo to house arrest, or that burned Bruno, were just as 'modern' as current atheists elites denying free-will, race and sex as being relevant.
It's a condition of constant adaptation of popular opinion, either for or against - either/or.

They have nothing to offer of their own, other than to ride the coat tails, and be propped up by their predecessors. A dying establishment of a dying tradition of lies. Trump honors the Jewish financial combines and Wall Street, while pretending to give a shit about America by sporting his iconic "straight shooting" personality that seduces morons into believing he is honest. Trump will stay in. It's almost guaranteed. After that, it wont matter anymore.

Now that BREXIT is done with, the English can look forward to replacing European migrants with more desirable African and Asians - replacement replacements.

Pat Buchanan spills his guts.
Another sign is that when an organism, like an Empire, begins to age and decline cancers and parasites that populated its body, and remained relatively tolerable, increasingly gain power and their presence becomes deadly - dominating the organism's psyche as they never did before.
A quick exploration of the parasite-meme in question will expose its behaviour - it emerges only when the hosts it infested were in dire straights or in decline. It's a sure sign that when dis-ease ascends the host is in decline, because when it was in health it could deal with all infections and infestations with very little effort.
In the case of the U.S., we are talking about a Anglo-Protestant Super-organism - inheritor of the British Empire and its dominion.
Once ambitious about becoming a New Rome it has become a New Jerusalem, in its messianic dying phase.
America was created in a hypothetical fight to free the 'slaves' and it will return to its fragmented state through another civil war, again under the pretext of race. As it ascended it will decline.
It has no blood, no common culture, to bind it - it is a SuperState based on the ambiguous idea/ideal of 'liberty' which has become a cry for 'freedom from nature'.

Americanism - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Americanism Americanism - Page 6 EmptyWed Mar 11, 2020 12:07 pm

McGilchrist, Iain wrote:
The American Revolution, with its famous claims for the individual right to pursue happiness, expresses the left hemisphere's belief that any good – happiness, for example – should be susceptible to the pursuit of the will, aided by rationality. In doing so it has illuminated the paradoxical nature of rationality: that while the rational mind must pursue ‘the good’, the most valuable things cannot be pursued (the pursuit of happiness has not generally led to happiness). Such valuable things can come only as side effects of something else.
The left hemisphere misunderstands the importance of implicitness. There is therefore a problem for it, that certain logically desirable goals simply cannot be directly pursued, because direct pursuit changes their nature and they flee from approach: thus the direct pursuit of liberty, equality and fraternity – despite being fine ideals – is problematic. The French Revolution famously championed liberty, equality and fraternity. The problem with bringing them to the fore as concepts and going for them explicitly, left-hemisphere fashion, rather than allowing them to emerge as the necessary accompaniment of a certain tolerant disposition towards the world, right-hemisphere fashion, is that they can be only negative entities once they become the province of the left hemisphere. This is because the left hemisphere, despite its view of itself as bringing things about, can only say ‘no’ or not say ‘no’ to what it finds given to it by the right hemisphere (just as the right hemisphere in turn can only say no or not say no to ‘the Other’, i.e. whatever it is that exists apart from ourselves: see Chapter 5 above). Thus, since there is no equality in the givenness of things as they actually appear to the right hemisphere, equality becomes, for the left hemisphere, a need and a drive to pull down anything that stands out as not equalling ‘equality’ – the essentially negative sense in which equality was pursued through the mayhem and carnage of the French Revolution. Neither is there any liberty in what is given by the right hemisphere, which delivers the world as a living web of interdependencies that require responses, and entail responsibility – not the exhilarating nihilism of ‘liberty’, in the sense of casting off all constraints. The liberty of the left hemisphere is, as is bound to be the case, an abstract concept, not what experience teaches us through living. This is what Edmund Burke was getting at in his 1775 speech on conciliation with America, when he said that ‘abstract liberty, like other mere abstractions, is not to be found’. The left hemisphere's version of liberty is a mere concept, not the freedom which can be experienced only through belonging, within a complex of constraints. Instead, because it has to positively do something (but the only thing it can do is to say ‘no’), it is obliged to proceed by negation: to set about eroding and dismantling the structures of naturally evolved traditional communities in which such experience of liberty could be achieved, seeing them as impediments to its own version of an unconstrainedly free society. Fraternity too lives in the relationships that are formed in the communities of kinship and society made possible by evolution of the right frontal lobe (not ‘Society’, a conceptual construct of the left hemisphere). The left hemisphere version of this is a sort of association of labour (Gesellschaft, in Tönnies’ terms, as opposed to Gemeinschaft)58 and the bureaucratic provision of what is called ‘care’, at the same time that the network of private and personal bonds and responsibilities in communities, in which fraternal feelings and the actual experience of care are made possible, is eroded.
The American Revolution is a rather different matter; for one thing, it was notably lacking in ‘Jacobins’. Its approach was not to do as much as possible to bring into being freedom by an effort of will (the French model), but as little as possible: a laissez-faire approach which approximates to Berlin's concept of negative liberty – as few restraints as possible. As such it enjoyed, unlike the French Revolution, the support of Burke. Whatever its rhetoric, its aim was the reduction of formal restrictions on society, while maximising communality, largely in the interests of economic well being.
Democracy as Jefferson saw it, with its essentially local, agrarian, communitarian, organic, structure, was in harmony with the ideals of the right hemisphere. But in time it came to be swept away by the large-scale, rootless, mechanical force of capitalism, a left-hemisphere product of the Enlightenment. What de Tocqueville presciently saw was that the lack of what I would see as right-hemisphere values incorporated in the fabric of society would lead in time to a process in which we became, despite ourselves, subject to bureaucracy and servitude to the State: ‘It will be a society which tries to keep its citizens in “perpetual childhood” it will seek to preserve their happiness, but it chooses to be the sole agent and only arbiter of that happiness.’ Society will, he says, develop a new kind of servitude which covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate … it does not tyrannise but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to be nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which government is the shepherd.
This is, as John Passmore puts it, ‘Benthamite or Fabian perfection made manifest’.
That this dislocation between the ideal and the reality has tended to obtain wherever societies have most stridently identified themselves with Enlightenment concepts (the ‘people's democracies’ of the world) is explained at one level perhaps by Elster's paradox that rationality contains the seeds of its own destruction. At another level, it is an expression of the reality that the left hemisphere cannot bring something to life: it can only say ‘no’ or not say ‘no’ to what it finds given to it by the right hemisphere. Once again this is Blake's perception that: ‘Energy is the only life, and is from the Body; and Reason is the bound or outward circumference of Energy’ (see p. 200).
The most obvious expression of the necessarily negative force of the left hemisphere's project is the way in which the ideals of liberty, justice and fraternity led to the illiberal, unjust, and far from fraternal, guillotine. Anything that is essentially sacramental, anything that is not founded on rationality, but on bonds of reverence or awe (right-hemisphere terrain), becomes the enemy of the left hemisphere, and constitutes a bar to its supremacy; and so the left hemisphere is committed to its destruction. That there were, as at the Reformation, abuses of power, is not in doubt, and in the case of both priests and monarch, these were sometimes justified by reference to divine authority, an intolerable state of affairs. But, as at the Reformation, it is not the abuse, but the thing abused – not idolatry, but images, not corrupt priests but the sacerdotal and the sacred – that become the targets.
The sheer vehemence of the attacks on priests and king during the French Revolution suggest not just a misunderstanding of, but a fear of, their status as metaphors, and of the right hemisphere nonutilitarian values for which they metaphorically act.
The destruction of the sacerdotal power of the Church was a goal of the French Revolution, as it had been of the Reformation. The Reformation, however, had not been nakedly, explicitly, secular: it had purported to replace a corrupt religion with a purified one. All the same its effect had been to transfer power from the sacerdotal base of the Catholic Church to the state, an essential part of the relentless process of secularisation, in the broadest sense – by which I mean the re-presentation of human experience in purely rationalistic terms, necessarily exclusive of the Other, and the insistence that all questions concerning morality and human welfare can and should be settled within those terms – which I would see as the agenda of the left hemisphere. The French Revolution, by contrast, was indeed openly opposed to the Church, but its most daring attack was on the sacramental, necessarily metaphorical, nature of royalty (and by extension the aristocrats, whose authority was reciprocally related to that of the monarchy). At the time of the Reformation, the effigies of saints had sometimes been dragged to the public square and there decapitated by the town's executioner. This not only in itself prefigures the French Revolution, and emphasises the continuity between regicide and the abolition of the sacramental, but also powerfully enacts two other left-hemisphere tendencies that characterise both the Reformation and the Enlightenment, to which we now might turn.

Mcgilchrist, Iain wrote:
While the Enlightenment, then, was apparently all about enlightening our darkness, it had a dark side of its own. It is ‘a mental disorder’ wrote Descartes, ‘which prizes the darkness higher than the light’. Descartes was rather keen on branding those who saw things differently from himself as mad.
Dominated by the left hemisphere, his world is one of comedy and light – he was, after all, the spectator in all the comedies the world displays. But there is madness here, too, which, as I have suggested, approximates the madness of schizophrenia. The successors to the Enlightenment, the Romantics, who I shall argue belonged to a world more dominated by the right hemisphere, saw, instead of comedy and light, tragedy and darkness, their ‘madness’ approximating that of melancholia and depression. But darkness was not to be banished by a fiat of the Enlightenment, either.
It has become increasingly obvious to historians and social theorists of the last hundred years that the Enlightenment, despite its optimism about itself, was not just a period of uncomplicated progress in human understanding and in society and politics at large. The appeal to reason can lead to sweetness and light, but it can also be used to monitor and control, to constrict and repress, in keeping with my view that the aim of the left hemisphere is power. With time, a dark side to the Enlightenment became too obvious to conceal.

Rationalism offered a 'positive' nihilistic abstraction, such as 'freedom' to replace Abrahamic spiritual nihilism, which was also positive, i.e., omniscient/omnipotent god, Christianity and Islam's eternal rewards and life after death, oneness, wholeness, indivisible immutable god, anthropocentric ideology, in time, morphing into secular forms...

Let us return to the 'swamp' to see what is happening.
Some, like China, ingest and digest nasty disgusting swamp things; others worship and idealize them - ingesting and digesting them ideologically.
One is infected by parasites and becomes diseased by genetic viruses; the other by the memetic type.

When the organism grows old and weak, viruses that once were easily coped with become devastating, and then parasites that once did not bother the host, suddenly begin to drain what remains of its energies.

Symbiosis can begin with mutualism and gradually develop into parasitism.

When the parasite takes over it openly displays its anti-host sentiments.
It comes out of hiding, because it no longer needs to conceal itself.

The process is part of the parasite's cycle of reproduction. The host, when it is done, has to be consumed by another host, so that the parasite can enter and begin to morph into the new host's organization.
This is how the parasites enters a new host beginning the cycle of concealment, pretense, and gradual consumption from within - esoteric.

When an empire is in decline its previous generosity and "altruism" begins turning conspicuously aggressive, selfish, and narcissistic.
Power can afford to be hypocritically generous; weakness cannot.
This, alone, will be a game-changer in a post-Covid-19 world.
The once 'benevolent protector and master' is now seen under the pretenses, as what it truly is: another Empire.
The weaker it gets the more demanding and authoritarian it will become until, at some point, it will lack the 'muscle' to demand anything - and then the tables will have turned, and demand will become groveling.
Free-market supply/demand was brilliant when it benefited the U.S. but when it no longer did it had to be contradicted with a new prerogative.
The U.S. for the first time - forget 9/11, that was nothing - faces a threat within its borders. This is exposing its meting-pot's cracks.
Let's put aside the Pearl Harbour incident so as to not get into conspiratorial territories.
Who will forget such a revelation in the future?
When the Emperor's nakedness is first seen, who can wipe that image from memory? No amount of pom and circumstance, or ostentatious glitter, will erase the memory of what hides beneath the facade.

Not since its war with Mexico has the U.S. had its heterogeneous 'melting pot' resolve been tested on its borders, and then its population was mostly of European ancestry.

America's new policy named "America First" is showing its real-world motives.
Trump is the agency of American consolidation and preparation for its New World Order status as a regional power. If he is reelected the policy that rejects the previous globalization messianic mission, will be temporarily abandoned and irreparably damaged.
Whoever replaces him, even if he is someone who wants to return to America's previous Liberal, post-modern strategy - Globalism is Americanism - will not be able to erase the memory of this ' systemic glitch'. Europe and Canada, have received a warning - if things get tough, the U.S. will look after its own interests - it will no longer be a global policing empire. How this will affect NATO will be determined later.
U.S. elites are sensing a vulnerability in their heterogeneous, miscegenation internal policies, as well. They never expected an enemy at the door exposing the effects of post'60's post-modernism. Americans are not what they used to be during the Mexican war nor even during the Second World War - they are far more multi-racial and atheistic and have even lost what remained of their Indo-European shared culture; America is increasingly non-white. Asians, Latinos, Afro-Asiatics and sub-Saharan Africans cannot adequately compensate for this loss.

These genocides do not inspire Hollywood 'fArtists'. Their Judeo-Puritan morality cannot relate and draw from it story-lines the American public can purchase.
There will always be one Genocide all others are to be compared to - human war-time pain and suffering - the tragedy of the human condition - always compared to that victimization.
A secular Abrahamic religion as Norman Finkelstein described it - victim industry supplying a demand it has created - circular solipsistic need/desire.
A semiotic cocooning of the human spirit.

All marketing supplies needs/desires founded on mental and physical lack.
Some manufacture a lack by manipulating natural needs/desires - like Chomsky's fabricating consent, they manufacture demand.
This tribe knows about selling product, as it knows how to deny self and its needs/desires.

Who ever thought of making a movie about the genocide perpetrated against the Russian people by ((([You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]))).
Genocide by proxy.

When the enemy is within the gates the facade of being a noble and generous benevolent master is pushed outside the gate.

Without getting too far into it, where love conceals and becomes blind, promoting intoxicating vagueness, fear reveals and becomes aware, promoting sobering clarity.
One sacrifices self, the other preserves it.

Dear Mr, Taylor...are you naive or keeping silent on the fact that the 'swamp' is populated by the same elite and only compete over method and degree.
The Republican/Democratic duality hides a monopoly - a monotheistic ideology, an Abrahamic singularity.
The U.S. has been a single party system since the beginning of the Cold War, if not earlier.
Kennedy and Nixon were the last attempts to make the divide real and not fake.

‘Nazi’ is the name given to Satan by this current Liberal, post-modern, American, secular, version of Nihilism. It is their updated name for the anti-Christ, or anti-Messiah; it is how they've baptized 'evil' in a post Nietzsche era; a linguistic method of concealing their true identity.

A Commonwealth country lol.. what’s America playing at? This seizing of medical equipment is immature and childish.

Ventilators are proving to exacerbate symptoms, so the World might now need to revisit their methods.. trying to pump oxygen into beings in an already weakened physiological state, only serves to deplete that state further. So much for the modern way of life, of additives and chems, only created to aid the self-serving manufacturers gain more profit.

Metaphorically speaking, breathing, respiration is spirit.
By appropriating ventilators for a diseased respiratory system - a corrupted spirit, is akin to denying spirit to another.
When the 'going gets tough, the feeble expose their true essence' - vultures of the spirit selling cosmopolitanism and humanism as a narcotic.

Sometimes, despite the socioeconomic filtering, a nugget of condensed light reached the obscure surface, before it is buried in propaganda, and drilled - spin-doctored - back down into the dark mud, once more.

American government is phenomenally fucked up. This exposes how much of a pasty and a puppet Trump is. Having no clue that America is essentially communist run and owned. Big business crony capitalism is only the mask it wears.
