In a way it might be quite beneficial for Putin that the interview was a bit boring for the ADHD crowd in the West.
If it would have been very exciting then that might come across as a win for those who are already convinced about the legitimacy of the Russian position, but those who are opposing it would be all the more enraged and use the emotional points as a tool to twist the whole thing around for their own propaganda ends.

Being boring is not a threat, which lessens tensions and emotional investment. Winning on the ground via actions while keeping the neurotic minds more relaxed with words.

Yes....Trump is a puppet.
His handers are members of America's elites - the "deep state" - which have come to realize that the methods they used, in a post war world, are destroying the US faster than the intended targets.

Europe's awakening is not on the foreseeable horizon.
as long as the US dominates it'll extinguish any embers that emerge before they start a fire.
They have experience after all those "colour revolutions" they funded to overthrow foreign governments.

The US has not yet declined enough to lose control of the Anglosphere...what remains of the ex British Empire.

Whatever happens in Europe it'll start on the continent....perhaps form those Soviet satellite states that didn't experience all those years of brainwashing behind the Iron Curtain.

Britain is all but gone.
