A world unto itself, China's rise may prove to be a trigger for the awakening of slumbering traditions the world over. A superpower, like a father, sets the example all must abide by.
American hegemony, for the past 80, or so, years, has cultivated Liberalism, open-markets, American style individuality, money-based identity, culture-of-no-culture, equal rights that were never equal but governed by fame & fortune criteria – market values. Globalism is the long-term project of spreading Americanism across the world.
The gradual ascent of China will change all this. China was never influenced by Abrahamic ethics, or Hollywood propaganda.
Whether you like China or not, her rise and challenge to Americanism will prove to be a game-changer.
Ideologies that are punishable by law, in American 'free-speech' hypocritical societies, will not be so restricted. Criticizing the 'protected victims' of Americanism will gradually stop being punishable by law. Critique will only be punishable when directed towards Chinese elites or core identifiers. This gradual socioeconomic and political tectonic shift will rebalance the entire world’s political and philosophical spectrum, from Judeo-Puritan/Afro-Asiatic/Liberal, towards far-Eastern/Buddhist/Confucian Mongoloid Socialism.
Contributing to this shift will be Russia's Eurasian project that has openly declared itself anti-Liberal, or anti-west – code for anti-Americanism – as the concept of 'west' has been redefined by American Liberalism and Abrahamic Messianism; monotheistic uni-polarity will give way to multi-polarity allowing the re-emergence of other forms of slumbering political identifiers and tribalism.
The shift eastward will also take the focus away from the Atlantic, Anglo-sphere, including Europe, moving it to the Pacific and the Indian Ocean, where India is also rising as a regional power.
Americanism will be replaced by China's Marxist variance of Capitalistic supply/demand principles.
China's soft-power is still underdeveloped and unsophisticated. Its dominance will be less subtle and insidious, when compared with America's Hollywood and pop-culture/media; Chinese overt racial awareness and acceptance, and its visible racial identity will also be decisive in awakening Europe's own racial identity.
America's melting-pot, multi-racial, multiculturalism, also claimed 'whiteness' as its foundation – a foundational factor that has eroded as America declines.
Its white-face was a confusing component in the European psyche because it appeared to share the same racial concerns and principles when its core identity had ceased to be anchored upon European culture and traditions – becoming Afro-Asiatic in spirit.
Europe's dominance by Americanism also shifted European ideals from Europe towards the Levant, allowing nations like Israel and Turkey to claim a European identity just as Europeans were denying their own.
Races defined by skin pigmentation was part of the simplification/generalization that offered room for ridicule and denial, on the one hand, and for unsubstantiated claims, on the other; ‘whiteness’, like ‘blackness’ became so general as to permit any interpretation and inclusion, and so simplistic as to allow a complete rejection.
China does not suffer from such linguistic western ambiguities. Its sense of self is both physical and cultural – genetic/memetic, and shows no shame in admitting it.
