What this forum needs is more mundane babbling and creative verbosity.

Maybe Fausty, the douche-bag, can help us with this. But then again his forum has nothing more to offer than parrots squawking about how wonderful being a parrot is, and how parrots should be preserved for eternity and not be allowed to go extinct, and about how pretty and popular parrots are as pets.

Maybe the spurious monkeyboy is a better mentor.
He has that casual aloofness that lends itself to buffoonery.

It's a bit difficult to see why people find such an oppressive place attractive. While it used to be a big pile of fertile stinking manure, giving food to creativity and humour.

But it took one boring guy to fuck it all up.

The "boring guy" was not one...nor is it only Fausty, the douche-bag, over at ILP.
It's the multitudes of boring fucks that are there.

It's a symptom of a general decline....a tolerance for mediocrity for the sake of defending the weak from a reality they cannot fathom or come to terms with.
It's the idea(l) that all deserve respect and consideration and to be listened to no matter how inartistic and rigid their minds are.

You know, say something stupid or off-color but do it in style.

The boring turds coming into power are only the conduits, the authorities raised there reflecting their constituency.

It would take an act of exclusion to produce the opposite.
A selective club where mediocrity is allowed but not catered to; where almost anything is permitted unless it becomes overly disruptive.
Here we try to use a cellular containment method.

Each cell is sealed.
You can visit and belong to any cell just as long as you display the attributes desired in each case.

So you can avoid having threads derailed by imbeciles that have no place commenting or even reading it, let alone offering an opinion.

Or, at least, that's how it's supposed to work in theory.

Take a look at our resident town-fool, the dreaded Purple-people-Eater, the Dragon:
Here he can be caged, preventing him flooding the forum with his inanities. But we do not ban the beast, as he is a specimen to be admired and studied.

No matter how he justifies his place there he is allowed to participate but with restrictions.
To ascend he must display the qualities we find attractive:

Humor, flexibility, social awareness, integrity, self-control, imagination, and intelligence.
The noble traits.
The Turd simply mimics style, without fully comprehending it. He thinks that one can simply wear a new mask, put on some flashy clothes, learn a few words, and he's a new man.

See the Turd can't understand the difference between knowing and understanding.
For him when your opinions match another's, or if the other teaches you, you automatically become him.
He calls it "rape"...and according to that he's been raped repeatedly.
His asshole must be a mess.

His "uniqueness" is that he still believes in uniqueness, in the absolute sense of the word.
