The video validates my own observations explaining an increase in idiocy - or a stunting of maturation, retardation.
Some of is covered in my thesis on The Feminization of Mankind.

The phenomenon is characterized by the error that intelligence is rising, when in fact it is declining.

The factors that give the impression of a rise in intelligence - expressed through judgements - are these:

1- Specialization - a focus on intellectual levels regarding a small segment of knowledge is accompanied with a severe decrease in all other areas.
Similar to the creation and maintenance of a localized artificial manmad abundance by stripping all other geographic areas of their resource.It gives the illusion that the world is full of infinite resources, when in fact the effect is regional.
Idiocy works in the same way.
An individual can be knowledgeable in one segment of human knowledge and totally inept in everything else.

2- Confusion of knowledge for understanding, equating a rise in average education levels, and literacy, with a rise in intelligence.

3- Communal genius, or the Goggle Genius phenomenon, as I call it. It's relates to #1.
The abundance of data available and the ease in access gives the impression of uniform genius, when, in fact, the reverse is occurring. as the individual is easily given knowledge, and is protected from its own misunderstanding and errors in judgment, it atrophies its own judgements, gradually becoming dependent on the steady influx of data to remain viable.
These types are usually dependent on external authorities, while maintaining the image of a radical free-thinker, overcompensation for this fact.
All exaggerations are usually compensations for something....see Hypergamy, Hyper-masculinity etc.

4- Corruption of language. Though literacy rats increase stupidity is on the rise, because language is being corrupted in its application.
Not only vocabulary is declining, but how the individual understands words is being warped by Nihilism, as I've explained elsewhere.
This is most evident in disciplines where language is central, such as philosophy.
Fro example, individuals adopt a warped definition and understanding of words, such as 'freedom' or 'god', or 'self' and then engage in an endless discussion and/or search for an absurdity. This is sometimes intentional....for instance if the individual wants to pretend he is open-minded and a brave seeker of truth, while, at the same time, being a coward, he will define 'self' in ways that make its discovery impossible. He will then go through a lifetime debating - justifying his self-deceit - and searching for what he has made sure he will never have to face.
His own anxieties urges him to intentionally define the cocnept in ways that ensures his endless search for what he does not really want to find.

Reviewed some of his book excerpts. It sounds good.

Sheltering is a major problem. Academia has become atrophy for the mind. Idealism, which pervades modern culture, stunts the mind into delusions and cognitive deficiencies. The university has become a daycare center for adult children to learn about things that can hurt them, but to then pretend that they either dont exist, or that they are not as bad as they seem. This is retardation.

Intelligence, more importantly, is also the exposure to the conflict of nature and then, the intellectual reflection about it; the ordering process to cultivate imagination. The duality of struggle, and the study of what that struggle means must be had. One must be exposed to the hardships of nature in order to become resilient, mentally and physically. This produces cognitive dexterity to survive in more cogent and creative ways. Thus, the art of conceptualizing and thinking finds lucidity based on a tempered mindset with suffering. Modern morons have no experience with their own thoughts because they derive from nothing in reality, I.e., from discomfort and conflict, which would challenge what they think and know with what is.

Yes, 'book smarts' as opposed to 'street smarts'.
A 'genius' in regard to Nietzsche lore, but a complete and utter imbecile in every other context; a remarkable 'know it all' in physics, but a bumbling buffoon in every other measure of a man; able to recite pages of memorized data, verbatim, like a computer, but with the infantile judgment of a retard; able to display extraordinary proficiency in one area but then a manchild in everything else.

This is the conversion of an 'individual' into a cell, within a SuperOrgansim, rather than an organism - see Spengler.

The type will display a religious-like deference to authorities, while, at the same time, also declare a rebelliousness towards authority - another example of mind/body schisms, or mental dissonance.
The Nihilist must contradict his own verbally stated, and cognitively maintained, principles, and must be 'flexible,' in constructing excuses to explain why his accepted theory cannot be applied, but only believed in; or to justify the self-contradiction in his own ideology.
This necessitates an externalization of self-deceit - deception of other to validate and strengthen self-deceit.

We can discern in the dualistic types of modernity in 'pure' and 'positive' Nihilism, two distinct forms of institutionalized autism.
One entirely absorbed by minutia, details; focused intelligence with no ability to accurately formulate a world-view that encompasses disciplines outside its own laser-tight field of knowledge and understanding.
This is typical of heterogeneous modern systems attempting to incorporate multiplicity/diversity into a cohesive singularity - called specialization.
Moderns refer to it as 'nerdiness', resembling clinical autism. A focused talent accompanied by ineptness in all other areas.

The second does the reverse, constructing fantastic world-views but with no ability to incorporate minutia, details, the tangible, into their grand schemes.
This type uses the Top<>Down method, starting with an idea/ideal and then attempting to integrate experienced reality into its already established 'truth'.
Narcissisms is the usual psychology that indulges in this form of grandiosity.
Meme (idea/ideal) precedes and usurps all other considerations. The experienced world is adapted to it, and not it to the experienced world.
Messianic complex is a side-effect.
Salvation through the idea/ideal, selectively sampling and interpreting the phenomenal world - reversed empiricism.
