>Nihilism produces paradoxes due to its very nature as an idea/ideal that attempts to contradict the real which it survives within.
we see this clearly in such nihilistic dogmas, as Judaism which attains power by claiming powerlessness - victimhood becomes predatory - parasitical.
The U.S. as being founded on an Abrahamic narrative also displays this paradox - an empire based on rejecting the idea of empires - perpetual rebellion against what it is.
"
Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" is a biblical call to salvation - the meek shall inherit the earth - freedom from nature, the past; salvation through money, purchasing a new identity, leaving the past behind, no longer hindered by heritage, natural order, social hierarchies etc.
We see this Messianic spirit in America's constant claim to being a 'victim' of hatred and envy; Trump formulates it as the U.S. being exploited - a remarkable claim by an empire that was built no creating dependence on its dominion.
A victim of its own methods; victim of victimization. Empire founded no the denial of empire - duplicity; paradox of its own making seducing feebleness and desperation - the lost and tired and poor.
Peterson, - and others - in many ways, was a reaction to its own liberal identity dogma - a reality check forced upon Americans by reality itself. It created the insanity it then perceived an existential threat within.
>Good versus Evil, is Abrahamic to the core. Either/Or, binaries. A source of its power is that its simplicity can be comprehended by the mediocre spirit - it is primal.
Good/Bad.
There is no progress '
Beyond Good and Evil' there's a repackaging, a renaming - an updating of the same concepts to be resold to modern psychologies.
>As I've said many times before, Nihilism is about inversions. In the Star Wars narrative the Dark/Light are inverted, where Light is named the 'dark force' and the dark is named the 'light force'.
Light = ideology/spirituality disconnecting mind from body; ideas/ideals detached from physical, tangible existence; detached and uninhibited by experienced reality and precedent.
Dark = nature, limiting, containing, natural order expressed as social hierarchies.
>The
parasite-meme exploits individual insecurities their self-hatred and resentment of everything that made them as they are, selling them this self-hatred as a rebellion against the father, the source of their being; rebellion against their heritage and genetic inheritance - a seductive release/relief from their own body, their own past. But, of course, always a lie. The past/nature cannot be escaped nor redefined out of existence - its determinations are immutable and cannot be undone with reinterpretations or denial.
>The anti-father symbols are thick in the Star Wars narrative.
Father, for ancient Greeks and Indo-Europeans, was the one who passed on the
genos (ΓΕΝΟΣ), the gene but also memetic identity, i.e., race and culture.
