CNN would me U.S. soft-power, information warfare, directed outward...and FOX would be the same directed inward.
Plus MSNBC, which is FOX for the Democrats. Further reinforcing the false dichotomy between 2 parties with largely identical ideologies.

Many people still do not understand how modern warfare changed after WW2. The U.S. received brain influx from Europe...and the information age was born...along with it this War like no Other.
Soft power warfare is a form of Cold Warfare, as they called it before.
The right/left dichotomy, in the west, has now become part of the same mechanism, both sides being played by the same interests, to maintain the illusion of free-speech and Democracy. The left propagates an internal nihilism, a levelling down, which increases stability and cohesion, thusly increasing the SuperOrganism's - the state's - externally focused synergy. The right is this projection of synergistic power outwards against those other SuperOrgansims (States- Memes) that contradict its dominance.

There's no ideological (Mimetic) conflict between left and right in the U.S. They are in collusion. Just as the separation of church and state never finalized, in practice, but only in theory, in the U.S. The same principles the church propagated, have now been secularized and are propagated under different titles...other words being used. Like how Communism could be repackaged in the States under the title "Venus Project".
The only difference of left/right in the U.S. is one of methodology. The values, the standards of evaluating high/low, the principles, the ideals are the same.
Both Democrats and Republican do not question the "Democracy" of the United States, or their two-party, that is really a single party with two branches, system - they never doubt the institution of the Presidency, doubting if the person is actually in charge - they never question the "benevolence" of the States on the world scene - they never question ownership, or materialism/hedonism as the standard - they never question all-inclusive participation or the measure of quantity to determine quality.

Its fine for an exoteric movement, better than other options of "God" societies... but not for the immediate free-spirit, although Dharma itself has a more richer semantic complex than this guru presents.
Interview with Abe Foxman of the ADL, guy can't keep cool.

Replace the word Arabs with Chinese and this becomes freakishly foreshadowing. When the shipments to the East dry up it all ends, the date is only to be seen.
The current drama between Japan and China will pale in comparison. Almost all the mainstream news is a distraction from the important events; with intended effect one can't help to imagine.
About the German gold - Ferdinand Lips, a Suisse banker wrote a book about it in 2001 and I think that Germany is well aware of the fact that they will not get their gold back, definitely not all of it, perhaps a bit. So, I see this demand from the Bundesbank to get the German gold back, to be mainly a political gesture. It shows that they are now willing to defy the U.S. hegemony a bit. It's a gradual process. China and Russia among others do similar things and they are getting away with it. The official spheres of influence are changing. Whether this means that the powers behind the curtain are also struggling, I don't know - but it could very well be the case.

Skip to 42:30 for interview, If that guy isn't a walking cliche(phenotype and all) for a savage black man I don't know what is... He doesn't even feel when he commits crime, no appealing to reason or emotion, beyond being just "frustrated" with the system and lashing out with crime... He just "does" crime... "If you don't want to give me money, I will show you with your last born. Took him to shower or to the hot shower. Or to the oven, microwave oven. I put him like this to the oven. Then you see I want money... Take your child and put it in oven. I make oven on."
Just watched The Naked Island. Words seem trite to attempt to describe this film, as words were unnecessary to portray it. Powerfully beautiful. I was waiting for the weather or their health to bring it all down.
I have seen Woman in the Dunes, but this little film is way up there.
(Exhale slowly.....)

"First you have to understand that the source of addiction is in the human himself. Then you think: how do you help someone who is pain? First by acknowledging their suffering and validating their attempt to escape from their pain, then by helping them not suffer so that they don’t have to rely on the drugs. It takes a whole different perspective. Resources that are used to incarcerate people would have to be used to help people to rewire their brains in healthy ways—through access to food, safe housing, good counseling, and employment skills........
Glad you enjoyed it. Powerful but soothing as well. The director, Kaneto Shindō, described it as "a cinematic poem to try and capture the life of human beings struggling like ants against the forces of nature." It strikes me as a sort of snapshot between the old world and the modern age...
