Hypatia

This is what happens when you allow the mob, the mass of manimals, to think they are worth something; worth eternal life; worth the interests of a God.

History repeats itself.

Let those happy-go-lucky, cowards, thinking they can escape the wrath of the the frenzied masses, take heed.

What have we come to when clowns, women, and degenerates, are placed next to reality, to denounce it in the name of a coming beyond?

Shall we keep our mouths shut, like they once did, so as to retain our openness to ideas, letting the weak be infected by charlatans, playing upon their fears and ignorance, to sway them?
Shall we politely give their voice respect, offering them the impression that their stupidity is valid?

A very hard to watch movie. So there was a degeneration within Paganism (letting a woman be teacher/honored Philosopher), that lead to the rise of the other Religions, that in their teachings could prove in the regard of traditional male/female roles a more natural ordering.

Even in the movie, Hypatia worked well within the female intuition. I think Spengler's model of Apollonian/Magian/Faustian offers within the Magian a great opportunity for women, to be useful/helpful in all sorts of areas. The old Germans asked a female oracle, before going to battle. But also the Faustian to me is NOT all masculine. That's why I never felt completely happy with more recent thinkers. I accept Pragmatism and Prometheanism to a degree of course. This is the masculine side of Faustianism to me. Science, Practicality. But there is a female element within Faustianism also.

Faustianism is four dimensional. Height, width, depth and time.
(So with the female biology, females of course have a special relation to the cyclical view on time. And "depth", is also something, we find in the female sex organ.)

Apollonianism is two dimensional: height and width.

So as a 20th or 21st Century Philosopher one needs to consult women.

That was not the case in ancient Greece (apollonian times), but in the movie we see a clash with magian culture/s.
