Down Syndrome Babies. Empty
PostSubject: Down Syndrome Babies. Down Syndrome Babies. EmptySun Jan 10, 2016 11:50 am

Down syndrome is a latent gene within us all? I've encountered several people who talked like this in highschool but they were not dumb. If you step back and analyze it, the people in this video are not that much dumber than an average person walking down the street. Though in general, down syndromes are not as high functioning as the ones in this video. What if downsynrome was a needed animal component, for example a boy with downsyndrome gave hope and inspiration to his team. Hyperintellectuals, on the other hand, could care less about sports.

George Bush does not to seem to have downsyndrome, though, his retardation comes from elsewhere. It is questionable if he is inbred, because all of the Bushes look the same. Is this also a trait of Jews, that fathers look like sons?

Is Down syndrome like the skunk juice in elegant perfume, a small amount of it is needed to contribute to intellectual function? Asians seem to have down syndrome. I didn't think the girl looked ugly, but rather funny and cute, like a children's doll. I have a theory that downsyndrome is embedded in us all, because one night, I was mentally traumatized, and entered "downsyndrome mode" for the whole night. Perhaps it is triggered by inflammation or shutting down regions?

It is only a matter of time until someone rehashes this into one of those youtube musical remixes by splicing the clips.

You need a whole thread for that? Ah well, I have some Downy subjects saved on my computer; and we have the Chimp Talkin too.

Well, you can always use the powers vested in you to switch it to a parent thread. Or, the topic could be taken as a topic about all forms of mental and genetic retardation.

Often people who are close to those with DS, or similar impairments, speak of a special wisdom that those people supposedly have. It's similar to the special wisdom that people believe they find in their pets. Average people who have higher cognition than animals, and those with DS, often over think and strive for too much. Often when they observe those with DS or animals, who never over think and strive for little, they think it's because they have the wisdom not to do those things, as if they may have been tempted to and used reason to decide not to. When the case is obviously simply that they lack the ability or nature to do such things. Counter weights are useful so long as one uses them lucidly, in order to find better balance, rather than aggrandizing them into something they're not, in order to change one self to an opposing extreme.

Interesting perspective Stuart. That is, normal people always temper their passions for the sake of something else, like social conformity or future goals. A DS person or a dog behaves for the short term, lacking the consciousness needed to fear the repercussions of their behavior.

I noticed the ability for those with DS to do one thing really well is like a skill born from unbridled obsession, free from care of anything else... no fear for the future. Fear only in the present, to ease their anxiety. Some activity can become their favorite. Without much ability to think ahead, everything will seem like it's brand new, to a certain extent. Games that might get old to us would remain new to them. We expect certain outcomes, they just continue to perform and learn.

Just some ideas from what I've seen in videos of them, though. I haven't much experience directly with DS.

So here where're speaking of two common memetic diseases; that of obsession with the shallow modern forms of accomplishment and that of over dependence on the thoughts of others - outside of pragmatic function. The two correspond in that modern forms of accomplishment all can be reduced to being thought well of by others pragmatically or not. When those with such diseases see uninfected people or animals, they often overlook that rather than having a more healthy immune system they may simply be too unsophisticated beings to contract such diseases.

I often relate this to the few remaining primal people, those unaffected by modern civilizations, such as those in the Amazon rain forest. These people are certainly sophisticated enough genetically to contract these diseases, but simply lack exposure to them, unlike most of the other natives to the Americas which were infected long ago.

The older native American cultures seem to offer much wisdom, but it's only useful in contexts/situations outside of contaminated societies. It's not to be confused with ancient European from cultures/peoples who were regularly exposed to such J-Xt. diseases and managed to develop memetic and maybe even genetic immunitys.
