Intelligent, Strong, Graceful, Beautiful, Charismatic, these are the traits of excellence.
Unintelligent, Weak, Clumsy, Ugly, Awkward, these are the traits of misery.
A lot of people here confuse attributes through obfuscation. Intelligence is strength, or leads to strength. Beauty is charismatic. Ugliness is weakness. Etc. These are all bad, false propositions. To claim that one attribute represents another, is misleading. And it creates unnecessary confusion, often for the sake of the perspective purporting and responsible for the obfuscation.
Beauty is not strength, not intelligence, not charisma, not grace. Beauty is not wealth and riches. These are separate things and should be kept separate.
When talking about one or more "positive" or "good" attributes, then this is the concept of Excellence. It is excellent to be both intelligent and beautiful and charismatic. It is miserable to be weak, stupid, and ugly. The former are called the excellent. The latter are called the miserable.
A mix of traits leads to an average, "humanity". One person maybe very beautiful, but mind numbingly stupid, boring, and clumsy. But the beauty is enough, alone, to consider this person "positive" or above average. Sometimes people focus on improving their advantages. A tall, heavy person, already has more strength than a smaller person. But by lifting weights and exercising, the large person doubles his advantage, and becomes stronger than his "natural" state. Likewise, a person can attempt to improve a disadvantageous trait. Stupid people hope to become smarter, more intelligent, by studying and earning good grades in school. Many will argue that stupid people can become smarter, through this training. Although I personally disagree with that definition of intelligence. I see education and indoctrination more as obedience training than "intelligence". It is arguable that the trait of intelligence, specifically, can become improved. Strength training is the most obvious method of improving a trait into excellence. Also yoga, stretching, and dancing improve gracefulness and the ability to move around efficiently.
There are shortcuts. Ugly people, mostly women, attempt to improve their beauty using makeup. This represents the fact that beauty is exceptionally stressed for females, in this culture.
