Quote :
Athens - A new political poll published in Greece shows that support for each of the main political parties has fallen since the June 17 election. The only party to make a significant gain is Golden Dawn, increasing its share of the vote from 6.92 to 8.6 percent.
The latest poll shows that support for the far-left has declined over the summer, whilst the far-right has gained support. Golden Dawn (Chrysi Avgi) has come out of nowhere to become the fourth largest political party in Greece, with a larger support base than the Democratic Left which forms part of the coalition government.
This is in spite of concerted efforts in the international press to depict Golden Dawn as neo-Nazi, while supporters view it as nationalistic rather than extreme. The party maintains the attempts to malign them are not only ridiculous slander but libelous, noting the Greek people now understand correctly that they are a Nationalistic movement. Their continued distribution of food to needy Greeks suffering under austerity measures, has gained them support, though their efforts have been criticized as they only provide food to Greek citizens.
The contrasting figures are published below (election results from Keep Talking Greece)
New Democracy June 17 election results 29.66 Current 24.8, SYRIZA 26.89 (22.Cool, PASOK 12.28 (9.Cool, Golden Dawn 6.92 (8.6 ), Independent Greeks 7.51 (6.Cool, Democratic Left 6.26(5.2), Communists KKE 4.50 (4.7 percent.)
The poll, published by Proto Thema, also shows less than 30 percent are happy with the current government. The most popular political leader remains Fotis Kouvelis, leader of the Democratic Left, while Prime Minister Anthonis Samaras has a 34 percent approval rating.
The Communists and far-left objections to Operation "Xenios Zeus" to tackle the problem of illegal immigration has left their approval ratings plummeting as Proto Thema notes the operation has raised expectations amongst Greeks that the "huge social problem" it creates is being addressed.
With social unrest expected in September as new austerity measures are introduced and taxes raised again, support for Golden Dawn is likely to increase as they develop their political style. Actions appeal to voters and Golden Dawn's on the ground work assisting to fight the many fires that have raged through Greece this summer; their support for Greek citizens that have suffered from crime; and their increasing network of local offices to provide necessary support are likely to see their support soon enter double digits.

Funny enough that symbol looks strikingly similar to the swastika...

I'm seeing 2 Ls intertwined. In the occult world that would equal 77....7+7 is 14....Z represents 2 7s.

L also has to do with the Dark Lord Of Time and Saturn's rings :/

I also see a 2 there.
From another angle I see a Greek letter: gamma....an L flipped and standing upright.
It also looks like the Omega...from a distance.

Shit, when I look at the clouds I can find all kinds of cool images.

On a serious note:

The Golden Dawn party is an ultra-right, party....Nationalistic, Christian, Conservative.
Yes, like Hitler's Nazi party.

Evola distanced himself from the Italian Fascist party because of these connections. He had a higher ideology.
Heidegger might have gone along to achieve a goal.

Then you're starting to get the connections....

You think it's a coincidence, but it's not. Golden Dawn is an occult- look it up, look up their beliefs. They thrive on symbols; everything has ulterior meaning.

Golden Dawn and the New Right Empty
PostSubject: Re: Golden Dawn and the New Right Golden Dawn and the New Right EmptySun Sep 02, 2012 10:26 pm

Ah yes....the power of symbols.

I'm glad they only affect the minds of men....the simplest ones at that.
If I show an "occult symbol" to a dog it'll wag its tail and lick my hands.

I may, at that point, take that gesture as a symbol of its agreement, projecting, once more, what lies inside of me.

It's fun that the pagans attributed different meaning to certain symbols than the modern day not-wit Christians do.
The pentagram, for example...or the goat....or the Satyr.

Subliminal messaging is how the masses are guided...once the original insertion of the symbol and its meaning, has taken hold.

Symbols begin with how early man interacted with nature and his environment.
From then on they took on cultural significance, morphing into particular icons, at times with little connection to the original symbols.
Men are born and live in increasingly sheltered, artificial, environments to such a degree that symbols permeate his consciousness, as everywhere he turns he is accosted with manmade codes for ideas, tastes, instinctual proclivities, emotions.

Being disconnected form nature he lives within these seismological jungles.
In the west the process of assimilating and disarming symbols has reached such a level of sophistication that even supposedly antagonistic ideologies and their symbols can be indoctrinated and made harmless into the marketing system....another being that of movies, music, and pop-art in general.
Through these mediums the system's preferred principles are connected emotionally to a desired behavior; whereas the ones to be combated are connected, emotionally and instinctually, to negative outcomes.
The effect is so powerful that the mere flashing of an image, now connected with certain body functions and emotions, is enough to make someone hungry....sexually aroused....anxious....afraid.

We see this in regards to the events surrounding the holocaust.
The simple mentioning of a word, the simple exposition of a certain image, is enough to create a psychosomatic effect in the observer, raised, manipulated, brainwashed, indoctrinated, within a particular social and cultural system.

PostSubject: Re: Golden Dawn and the New Right Golden Dawn and the New Right EmptyMon Sep 03, 2012 9:47 pm

She's right in that the symbol is a Meander
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and is connected to the swastika via the concept of the Labyrinth. Minoan culture is a labyrinthine culture.

She is also right in connecting the Gamma with the swastika, and 7 7 is an Aryan concept.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

But she's wrong in that it has nothing to do with 7+7 = 15, etc. or associating it with Saturn. Saturn's related to H and 8, not 7.

Swastika and the Labyrinth, by Philip Gardiner:

"The ancient symbol of the swastika is simply a stylised spiral as can be shown from the many depictions across the world of swastikas made up of spirals and snakes. It also shows up in the spiral fashions of the labyrinths and mazes. The word labyrinth comes directly from the ancient Minoan Snake Goddess culture of Crete, where the swastika was used as a symbol of the labyrinth and is linked etymologically with the“double headed axe” – the Tau Cross. Similar labyrinthine shaped swastikas have been found in the ancient city of Harappa from the 2000 BC. As the labyrinth is viewed as a womb of the Mother Goddess, and a symbol of the snake, there is littlewonder that these two symbols became fused. However, labyrinths were also seen as places of ancient serpent initiation and if viewed in the same manner as Serpent Mounds then it is further evidence for their real use. (See Serpent Mounds) In ancient Egypt the labyrinth was synominous with what was called the Amenti – the snake like path taken by the dead to journey from death to resurrection. It was Isis, the serpentqueen of heaven who was to guide the souls through the twists of the Amenti. The path towards the centre, leads towards treasure. The snake adorning Athene in ancient Greece is shown with a swastika skirt. The same is true of Astarte and Artemis. Thereis Samarran pottery dating from 5000-4000 BC from Mesopotamia showing a female swastika, where the hair swirls with Medusa type serpents. The swastika is alsoshown as two serpents crossing each other. In Norse myth, the hammer of Thor (note that Labyrinth means double headed axe just like the Hammer of Thor!), Mjollnir, is closely connected with the swastika and isfound to be a prominent motif in Scandinavian art from the Bronze Age to the IronAge. It is found on swords and Anglo-Saxon cremation urns and on numerous Vikingitems. It was seen as a protector against thieves, reminiscent of the fact that serpentswere known to guard treasure. As Thor’s hammer was also seen as a Tau cross it is certainly related to the secrets of the serpent. It was used by Thor to lopoff the head of the sacred ox, which he used as bait to catch the Midgard Serpent, which circled the globe in the symbol of the Ouroboros, eating its own tail. This was Thor offering a head as sacrifice to the serpent to try and gain immortality in the mead – the drink of the gods. Thor’s aim was to gain a cauldron big enough to take the mead for the immortals and he needed to prove his worth by fishing for the serpent. He had power of the serpent as the slayer, with the swastika or Tau cross. There isevidence to prove that the myths of these Scandinavians and the Hindus are related, asthe story of Thor and the Midgard Serpent closely resemble the battle between Indraand Vritra, showing a common origin. Vritra is the great serpent, which lies at the source of two rivers (the positive and negative or male and female), as the MidgardSerpent lies beneath the sea (of the mind and the other side of the planet where thesun goes each night). Indra slits open the belly of the serpent to release the waters and therefore fertility back to the land. Both gods, Indra and Thor, are related to theweather, both are warrior gods with a thunderbolt as a weapon and both slay thedragon. The swastika of the serpent is a common motif in both cultures."

The SS - lightning sign is a 3-stroke that symbolizes the cosmic pillar or the Axis-mundi that unites earth with heaven and confers sovereignty;

"With your apex you touch the heavens, with your middle portion you fill the air, with your foot you establish the earth," says one text of the Satapatha Brahmana, referring to the poles of sacrifice and likening them to the thunderbolt which is an emblem of world conquest."

Stephen Flowers [scribd pg.20 'The Command to Look'] writes, how the snake and the lightning-stroke have been primordial symbols that evoke sensitivity and reaction from the oldest regions of our consciousness:
