This land-mass, as well as many Canadian islands, and Antarctica, are still lands that can be exploited, especially as climate change frees them from the ice.
These lands will shrink, as water levels rise....making land even more specious.
The atmosphere will become more humid... with unforeseeable consequences. Perhaps a return to the Mesozoic period - shrinking land masses will be compensated by more fertile and hydrated soils; other areas will become arid and unable to sustain large populations.

As climate change makes mass migration a pressure on Europe's southern and eastern frontiers, even Europe's left will shift right.
This shift right will bring to power hard men, free from Abrahamic pseudo-spiritualities, and ethics, willing to make hard choices to ensure the survival of European peoples.
If this does not materialize, due to the influence of Abrahamics, and of a specific ideologically identified tribe, then Europe will become a historical reference.

I repeat the simple formula of estimating an Empires cycle, from birth to its eventual demise, fragmentation, and assimilation into other empires.
One has to first find its highest point, its Golden Age, and then find its starting point, its nascent age.
From this one can project its death, its death age, its end phase....because all these are phases spanning multiple generations.

For the U.S. it is simple.
1776....it's Golden Age was after the end of WWII...from the fifties to the nineties, when the Soviets collapsed.
That's a span of forty years - four decades. The middle point is the sixties - boomer territory, and the seminal decades of the sixties and seventies.
'69 being a distinct year when degeneracy reaches a pinnacle; a year when boomers were at the hight of their sexual virility.
1776 to 1976...just to make it easier....is 200 years. So 200 years from then will the US finally end.
It has no uniformity....so nothing much will be preserved....except the idealization of the concept of 'liberty' to compensate for its heterogeneity and its Global plan. The ideal of 'freedom' was supposed to steamroll all identities and produce a Globalized market of purchasable identities.
This brings us to 2176. That's not a precise date...but a general date. It may longer a few decades later, or may disappear a few decades before....but that's when this experiment ends.  
At that point a New World Order would be in place, with new ideals, and new geopolitical map...as well as a new climate.

The US started as an experiment, striving to detach from its mother nations and to make a new beginning - a New Rome.

As one Empire declines another rises.
The transition may be as smooth as butter....most will not even realize it occurred.

Already you get a sense of a decline when Hollywood is failing to deliver the blockbuster, or keeps producing lacklustre copies of past 'hits'. You feel its impact waning....and the music scene is pathetic; same garbage month after month delivered by the same types in the same voices and production quality.
You sense that this Empire is losing its virility.
Could this immigration influx be a last ditch attempt to rescue a dying monster?
Rome did the same....barbarians holding its highest positions of power, towards its end.

Like a dying man's blood transfusions, trying to infuse health and vigour from other bodies.
It only slows down the inevitable.

Considering the source, I would not take it seriously.
That the signs are there, like BRICKS, and the US economy and political insatiability and internal strife, is difficult to deny, unless you are a pro-US fanatic.

The Dollar will be gradually replaced by a new currency....perhaps the Gold standard will be returned to, in time.
But the US will not collapse.
It will gradually become a regional power, like Russia is presently, controlling the Americas....and its control eroding over time.
