Putin has severed all connections with Americanism and the desperate degeneracy factory, or factory of spiteful mutants.
This does not mean it will not be difficult to recover.
We all know how hard it is to be free from an addiction.
But if the Russian people survive the process and deal with withdrawal symptoms they will come out healthier in the end.

From a purely objective standpoint we can think of this as a social experiment.
If things proceed as they are, and no WWIII ends it all to fulfill the self-mutilating noes prophesies, we'll see after 20 years what a society free from Hollywood and big tech and Americanized media will have produced and then we can compare it to a society promoting degeneracy and nihilism, transsexuality and homosexuality, feminism and anti-paternalism, and anti-biological anti-nature identifiers.

I suspect one side will not survive long.

In Ukraine we see Russian strategy at its best.
Not to say mistakes were not made and setbacks not experienced.

A feigned attack on Kiev - I spell it as it was spelled - as they demolished the Ukrainian main army.
They never wanted to capture the cities but destroy armies.
Capturing cities is costly.
The Ukrainians played it cleverly, they retreated into the cities and waited.
Russians then used the "cauldron" strategy to encircle and slowly turn up the heat, slowly withering away the defenders - not wanting to destroy the city, if possible, but to kill the defenders that used the citizenry as shields. Then they dug in, so the Russians employ another tactic....attack and then retreat, pulling the defenders out of their defensive positions to encircle and destroy them.

A costly strategy but effective if you want to minimize casualties among the citizenry and preserve as much of the infrastructure as possible. In some cases they did have to level city blocks, due to Azov counter-measures.

Of course the Americans use the easier and more deadly "shock & awe" - usually by zem - because they don't give a shit about citizens or their ethnicity, 'cause Americanism is not about ethnicity or culture of blood, but markets....and destroying a nation opens up many opportunities to then make money rebuilding it.
Brainwashed Americans can't understand this because of their media's propaganda. They think Russians could not have done in the Ukraine what the US did in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Vietnam...
2 months of bombing and then sweep in and mop up what resistance remained.
This method inevitably created problems later - terrorists, guerilla attacks....and then retreat claiming victory.

See in Iraq and Afghanistan and Vietnam...and Syria....and Yugoslavia, and everywhere these zog bloodthirsty vermin have attacked.
Iraqi oil fields are now mostly exploited by Chinese and French Companies. In Afghanistan things have returned to where they were before they invaded, and Chinese mining Companies are mining the precious metals there with the approval of the Muslim fanatics.
