War might be creeping closer to the US borders. South America is shifting alliances, and Nicaragua has some agreement with China. Mexico is not exactly a friendly state.
This is a War Like No Other. Drugs can be used to place a population, or destroy its ability to compete. CIA used it to numb Americans - make them indifferent in the political system that controlled them. Drugs were also sued to fund illegal wars.
