I'm not sure if it's worse to lie to itself while knowing what is right and wrong or instead just do something without feeling any need to justify it or look good in the eyes of others, which is either because of primitivity or psychopathy

Well, I don't understand this very well and I don't think there are many who do, but the Dollar is the world's reserve currency and as such the US can just print more money the deeper in debt it goes, right?
