Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyMon Nov 23, 2015 6:12 pm

From the musings of the modern Greek philosopher Ramfos Stelios...

The paradox of time.
Those who only think only of the future, are dominated by the past.
With no present, time compressed as a “living in the moment” they only project a coming future, and they can only draw from memories, from the past.

In my own world-view, when the past is denied, forgotten, it manifests subconsciously as a repressed libido, exploding into a future completely disconnected from past.
This is what the moderns call “freedom”.
The past expresses itself as one experiences dreams – a collection of random memories combined in bizarre, monstrous irrational, unnatural forms.
In dream the brain is detached from the manifestation of past, as presence.
The dreamer is free to combine the past, to remember it as he pleases, at will, unburdened by the ongoing present, the apparent.
The term, at will, is a bit misleading, because none of this occurs on a conscious level, but is the product of automatic processes, emotions, passions, directing this process. The will falls back to tis primordial role of directing organic processes with no intervention from a rational, abstracting mind.
In this state the dreamer constructs imagery, story-lines, in accordance to his/her internal turmoil, his internal, subjective world – some of it lucid, rational (daydreams), the tip of the iceberg, but under the surface a mountain of ice floating in the ocean of his organ (inter)activity.
In daydream the imagination can construct anything, using past experiences/memories, but he can remain aware that all this is fantasy because he is still awake, and has access to the present, the apparent, that is reminding him of the real order of things, re-minding him, bringing him to mind, the actual manifestation of past as presence.
The dreamer, on the other hand, is numb, his senses disconnected from external stimuli. All the memories, sensations, come from internal sources, are entirely subjective, and there is no external objective world to re-mind him, to correct him, to make him feel embarrassed for mistaking them for the real.
This dream-world, is what Ramfos means by an individual lacking a presence, a present, and being totally dominated by the past, because this is his only reference point.
The dreamer has no present, and so the past is all he has to pull from and project as possibility towards future.
The dreamer, the modern, is the conduit through which the past is re-combined in creative forms focusing him to the coming future. The future is always “better” because it is a rearrangement unhindered by presence, the apparent.
He "lives" in a future, undisturbed by the present; a confusion of past arranged in creative ways, reflecting his personal psychology, his internal hierarchies.
The mind is a refractor, splitting the past/nature, and focusing the desirable color into the future, and scattering the other colors as white-noise.
Human cultures are this absence of present – an artificially constructed present, where the past can be reinterpreted, re-defended, re-membered, in whatever way it suits the coming future.
Nihilists are dominated by future, and are the quintessential "forward thinker", the Modern – always on the cutting edge of what is most current.
He is a man with no present, no appearance – denying appearances as too inhibiting to his need to recombine past in whatever way he chooses.
His present is always under-construction, because it is a dream-world.

Temporally he "exists", consciously, in the extremes: absolute past <> absolute future.
The binary poles of the nihilistic paradigm – either/or: absolute order <> absolute chaos.
The present is a distraction, something to ignore and numb himself to, so that the past can be rearranged in more vivid projections of future.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

In this prism, language reflects this fragmented selective confusion.
Words are rearranged to accommodate the dreamer’s internal landscapes.
Sentences re-present this mental re-arrangement of reality.
He dismisses world, objective reality, as not sufficient for his expected coming future.
He needs to circumvent it, as a problem to be overcome, following the hue splintering from the prism of his mind, to its destination.

Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyTue Nov 24, 2015 7:12 pm

one Nihilist priest tears the word "love" from its worldly anchoring, converting it to a divine ambiguity, that one must believe, internalize, to make sense of.
He wants love, by making himself the earthly representative of the concept which he covets, and has transformed into a sacred word so as to strip it of its restricting, discriminating appreciation.
By declaring himself the earthly representative of the divinity "love", he makes himself a conduit of love, towards the divine, and so the earthly recipient of what is intended for the ambiguous, and the non-existent - a word stripped of its moorings and set adrift, for any mind to offer a safe harbour to.

This is how arrogance, and vanity, masks itself as humility, and selflessness.

But, if you think this is only possible using one word, that of "love", you are mistaken.
Human creativity unhindered by reality, or an innate sense of integrity, of nobility, will use any word to achieve the same thing - it reinvents the same method, by simply baptizing it using a new, more current, more fresh, label.
There is nothing restricting the degenerate, desperate, ignoble spirit - not world, not time, not shame, not integrity. His goal is pleasure, fame, fortune, sex, whatever he has associated with value.
There are no depths he will not stoop to to find what he covets.

When you do not humble yourself before world, not as victim but as son, and fights, FIGHTS!!!, knowing the outcome, but does the unseemly, of presenting himself as a demi-god, before gods, before he's proven his value, has tested his mettle, and pronounces himself philosopher, bringer of light, bringer of truth to convince his own, but not the gods, he is no more than another run-o-the-mill messiah - another prophet, another Jesus, worse another Saul - seller of an other's goods, regurgitator of an other's spirit - a vampire of the soul, draining blood from living, healthy, bodies to make himself, his sickness, immortal.

Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyTue Nov 24, 2015 9:00 pm

The tragedy of nihilism, is that it gives birth to monstrosities, like Christianity and Marxism.
Monstrosities which understand world and man in the abstract, as pure noumenon, and can then act in the mist anti-human, anti-real ways.

Consider the example of Christianity, and later Marxism, and how in their dogma of love and humanitarianism, justice and food for all, they enacted the most brutal campaigns against man ever imagined by a human imagination.
The love of a Christian is theoretical, divine, and not actual.
He can be crueller than a atheist, a pagan, while holding up the signs of self-sacrifice, and chant the scripture of agape.
He is so disconnected from reality that this contradiction between his thinking, expressed as recited words, and his actions, never trouble him.

Was it not the same for Marxists, who in the name of humanity tortured and massacred millions upon millions?
The Nihilist is so detached from reality, wanting to protect himself primarily, that he can then enact brutality, and force upon others pain and suffering, all to spread his theoretical world of justice and peace.
This is not only shameful it is insane.
To be attacked by someone who lies about his own motives, because he does not know them himself.

Beware of the man who uses words disconnected from reality - as pure noetic abstractions, or in ways that does not abide by the causal chain and the temporal arrow.
Beware, because in his delusion, seeped in need, he will do you harm, as he professes to be interested in your welfare.
But this is true of all things. When a paradox, a conundrum, is discovered, seek the root, otherwise face the consequences of your ignorance, and when your choice is between words and deeds, always place your trust on actions, and ignore words and word-games.

After a while you realize that no matter how many variants you come across, nihilism can be reduced down to a simple act: it has nothing new to say, and indulges in word games, and verbal acrobatics to facilitate the maintenance of its primary objective: to erase word, to evade and escape past/nature, to be free from the experience of existing.

All else are clownish antics.

They have nothing new to say about the world, but only how man can cope with the world, and most of often they prescribe changing it, annulling it, denying it, hiding from it, and words are how the brain covers itself with a fine layer of murkiness, and everything looks rosy through it.

Morality outside objective/ideal, objective/ideal outside motive, motive outside judgment/evaluation, judgment/evaluation outside consciousness, consciousness outside life...life outside world.: the causal chain of Nihilism leads back to the unreal, the unnatural, the beyond.

PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyThu Dec 17, 2015 10:37 am

Nihilistic inversion follows the path of conversion of philosophy from exoteric, dealing with world, engaging reality outside the subjective, into esoteric, the exploration of self in relation to reality.
Philosophy is converted to politics, when the other is recognized as important to the welfare of self in relation to an indifferent uncertain world in Flux.
Objectivity denied, all converts to subjectivity, and how they relate, (inter)act come into harmony.
World is converted to humanity.
Power converted into control over others, physically or mentally.
Words converted from representations of noumena referring to phenomena outside the human brain, into representations of noumena referring to noumena inside the same brain, or in the brains of others - inter-subjective referencing or collective solipsism where the hive mind manifests in diverse expressions of the same detachment from world.
Truth becomes realpolitik, popularity.
Value becomes acknowledgment, appreciation by other, from others.
Politeness, social conventions, becomes parity - evidence that all men are created equal when they abide, out of necessity, and convenience, to the same rules of conduct.
All reduced to harmless word-play, banter, seducing, manipulating, passive aggressive platitudes, learned ritualized forms of engagement.
Language is dulled, and nobody is hurt, but worse that can happen is that his ego is bruised.

Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyMon Jan 11, 2016 8:01 pm

Culture of Nihilism uses the method of negative critique to imply its own positive offerings, without having to justify them.
A method of negating what is hurtful, or not pleasing, to maintain hedonistic immediacy.

An entire habit of thinking revolves around pleasure, sometimes changing the word sued to express it: happiness being another term substituting for immediate, easy pleasure: pleasure based on mind, or changing your perspective, your attitude, as if this has changed something more than how you cope and deal with what is outside your mind.
An entire moral and ideological framework is constructed to support this motive, lending an air of sophistication and seriousness to a base, animal need, adopting hypocrisy and denial as its expression.

For example, when denying race, the Modern Nihilist, motivated by its need to find immediate pleasure, will ridicule, simply declare something wrong, deny, ignore, and then offer no alternate explanation for why and how species splinter off from a common ancestor.
They announce their acceptance of evolution theory as the superior explanation for life, but then cannot explain how intelligence evolves, or how different species evolve, within the Evolution theory model.

They do the same thing with appearances. Denying relevance to sensual stimuli, while, at the same time, declaring themselves empiricists, and scientifically oriented, rational, realists.
Denying the importance of appearances they then proceed to apply their rule selectively, primarily when it comes to human appearances, while remaining true to empiricism when it comes to other species, and when if comes to inorganic patterns.
They announce that appearances are superficial, when it comes to humans, but then live their life judging everything else on sensual appearances, without justifying the selective application of their method...except by mystifying concepts such as "human" or male/female or anything to do with human beings.

When it comes to sameness they exaggerate the simplifications/generalizations they base them upon, while minimizing them when it comes to differences, refusing to think on the idea that sameness comes after a divergence has been established.

The short-term benefits, and how these thinking habits are established and maintained are easy to understand.
The psychosis, schizophrenia, this compartmentalized form of thinking is based on is harder to explain.
First step in understanding a dis-ease is analyzing its symptoms, or how the virus is affecting the body (meme affecting the gene).

The beginning is in criticism, wanting to find a negative in the concept, other, to be dismissed, so as to remain within the habitual form.
No alternative is offered, except implied, as a return to habit, or social norms, or easy pleasure - an addict uses the same method when wanting to justify his obsession, his dependence, his coping mechanism...his habit.

Critiquing those who believe in the process of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]within the human species, while offering no explanation as to why humans are excluded from Evolution Theory, or how speciation occurs if not gradually, is how these hypocrites deal with what is most threatening to their immediate dependence, their addictions, their habits.

How intelligence evolves if it is evenly distributed in a population, and it offers no advantage, is avoided with personal attacks and innuendo based on social norms and on peer pressure threats.
How value judgments are expressions of higher awareness is avoided, wanting to preserve the illusion of parity and only in the human species.
How a species, like the human one, could have evolved an awareness beyond that of other species, helping man dominate, if no gradual divergence within a population was never a fact, is never explained by these cowards, because the explanation might involve some uncomfortable insights that may disrupt immediate, easy, gratification.

Their interest in philosophy is as a coping method, similar to religion.
They are not interested in any wisdom that challenges their personal beliefs, and their self-interests.
The idea of accepting something as more probable when it insults and is against their interest is inconceivable to them, to the point where if someone speaks of thinks hurtful and contrary to their hopes, they assume a secret self-interest is behind it.
Intellectual integrity is another word for politics, for them.

Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyTue Jan 12, 2016 8:02 am

If man can rise above his animal state it is with his ability to perceive himself in space and time beyond the immediate.
An animal needs to be chemically tricked to behave with indifference to its own survival - sexual frenzy and the method of imprinting where, for a time, the parent identifies with the offspring, later evolving into the type of imprinting that makes social cooperative unities possible, make the behaviour we associate with morality, possible.

But with man, the rational being, this type of self-deceit is considered base, and the type of natural automatism man cannot surrender to without embarrassment.
It is man's capacity to self-sacrifice fully cognizant of the mechanism and the costs, which raises him above animals, and bestows upon him the title of nobility.
We cannot say this for all humans but only for the human species as part of its potential.

With man, self-preservation becomes a secondary matter, because only he, when, and if, he attains the fullest of his potential, can think beyond the here and the now, and though he still feels that animal urge to preserve self, to survive, can overcome it, not with chemical support, and shallow redirected self-identification, but with his will alone - will directed by reason expanding his perceptual-event-horizon to encompass the entire history of mankind, discovering, there, patterns he wants to preserve, though they may cause him immediate suffering, or may even contradict his personal interests, his existence itself.
With the cruelty of pure love, the one who is not concerned for fame and fortune and with the mundane desire of preserving his name, himself, intact, will consider the benefit of humanity, and not of himself within it.

At its most extreme this can lead to a further detachment from concern with humanity, seeing the struggles of a single species as a tiny part of the entire picture, and himself as but the smallest particle participating in it.
To those trapped in the dilemmas of self-preservation, masked in a care for the human species, will consider the remarks of such creatures evil, terrifyingly cold and cruel.
Motives will be projected upon such minds, taken from inside of those who cannot detach from their own needs, and secret motives.
The incomprehensible is often reduced down to a comprehensible state - the lowest-common-denominator, to make it less intimidating, and alien.
Ignorance can be confused for courage, knowledge can be confused for understanding, and these spirits can be confused for those who have lost interest, or have never developed any, with the future: those I call the pure nihilists, that with no care for the future of humanity involve themselves with preserving the conditions that offer them certain gratification, hoping that after their death humanity will follow - resenting the thought that others will live in a way they could not.
Their concern for humanity ending at the uncertain moment of their passing.
These pure nihilists will offer exaggerated altruism as an indication of their generous heart, when all they want is to sustain the circumstances they have become accustomed to, and want to preserve - an expansion of their self-preservation, including those they depend upon to go on living.
Degrading their identity to the level where they can identify with all of them, all at once; losing themselves in the currents of humanity, in fashion, in political-contingency, to remain alive; sacrificing self to multiplicity, to escape pain and suffering - fluid in their imprinting.

Noetic ambiguity, words with no reference points outside the human mind, uncertainty, extreme skepticism approaching the point of indecisiveness requiring an external "expert" to take over, indefinitely postponed judgments, arguments from the negative, are their ideal conditions.

All variants of Nihilism, in the truest sense of the word, sallow anxiety, approaching the level of terror, at the idea of a uncertain, unknowable, fluctuating world, indifferent to them and their interests.

The majority submit to the comforting idea(l) that the world cares about them through this Being, they give many names to, "God" being the most popular one.
A growing minority, having had the idea(l) of God discredited, rushes towards the idea(l)s that offer him the possibility that underlying all this flux, is a secret, hidden, order, they can work towards discovering so as to gain an advantage over those who cannot see it, or deny its existence.
The concept of God, as universal Will, is replaced by the concept of universal order, and, again, given multiple names to represent it.
Fluctuating patterns they can un-cover to guide their willing, their activities, are not good enough. They need, literally physically need, an all-uniting singular thing, given a name, to stand in for an absent god, and if not that then they crave the absence of all patterns that insult, and inhibit the freedom to create themselves with no constraints, and enjoy the short life they are given.
If possible, the secret order they have substituted god with, ought to permit the freedom from a determining past/nature, so as to make life worth living.

Feminization, the genetic manifestation of the Nihilistic meme, becomes most pronounced when discussing nature.
Though describing feminine tactics and compensating genetic measures, is considered tolerable, quaint, fascinating, if you veer into male tactics, and compensating measures, the infantile, the feminine, the emasculated become defensive - their catty psychology arches its back, hairs standing on end, adding volume to their smallness of mind; they hiss, try to gather companions for the counter-attack, resort to dramatics, using feminine psychological tactics trying to shame and belittle indirectly, sexually.

You can spot them then, beneath their adopted identities....little pussy-cats, wearing dog fur...the most insecure daring the more ostentatious wolf hair.

Using symbols/metaphors with no contact to the world beyond human artifices, the Nihilist priest makes himself the "authority", for validation, and points to others as comparative authorities.

Pagan has no need for such devices. World speaks and appears, he listens and sees, and simply exposes what all can see for themselves, requiring no proxy, no trustworthy mediator, no erotic component.

So obsessed with the idea(l) of benefits with no costs, or minimal, insignificant sacrifices, that they feel no shame in resorting to words with no references, to accomplish their goals, and consider all mentioning of costs, and repercussions, as being uncivil and a product of "illness".

In heir "world" health is related to remaining child-like, romantically naive, positive in your nihilism, full of boyish playfulness, using words like legos: one fitting into the other forming into a tiny, plastic, structure they can noetically enter - shrinking themselves into the lowest-common-denominator, and/or their little caricature: tiny little plastic figurine representing them in this little world of flexible, colourful, plastic.

PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyMon Apr 04, 2016 3:49 pm

From the school of tolerance and "benefit of the doubt" uniform multiplicity (linguistic paradox), we get the defensive counter to an argument which uses conviction of one's superiority as evidence of its error.
This, also, from the confused classroom of cAnus "logic": if you insist that your positions are superior, then you are in the wrong - the "correct" way is to doubt yourself and your own beliefs, and allowing multiplicity of subjectivities their place in the sun of hypotheticals.

Nihilism begins with the premise that there is no way to determine which subjective perspective is good/bad, unless it comes from a institution representing inter-subjective consensus, usually excluding anything problematic to group harmony and "equality" in respectability.
denial of this "right", god-given or not, constitutes a "hate crime".
All deserve the "pursuit of happiness' and if respect is part of it then all deserve respect.

Since respect is based on intimidation, the threat of taking away or denying the other what he or she considers valuable, then respect for all must be manufactured by the system, as a threat.

To not abide to bend to this threat makes you 'ill", or, at least, following some alternate motive not sanctioned or approved by the consensus - placing you "outside" their jurisdiction - a free-radical with potential consequences.
Therefore, slandering is a preventative method of softening the threat.
When no counter-arguments can be offered to the threat, the target becomes the source - insinuation, innuendo, theoretical dysfunctions, and an assumed "fear" for whatever is ex[posed - If you expose homosexuality the  homophobia, and if you expose race, then fear of diversity and of Negroes, and if you expose the female gender then misogyny, or some sexual hangup.

The desirable result being "silence", or repression, of what is perceived - anything that denies universal love, happiness, respect, food, safety, the fundamental to life, for a social organism, will be dealt with directly.
the motive: whomever prevents the other from participating and receiving what (s)he needs to be happy, like respect, the illusion that he is intellectually worth listening to, is suffering from a social or physical (memetic/genetic) disease.
Health being inverted to mean all-inclusion - the opposite of natural selection and the way of the world.

The exclusionary nature of memetic/genetic discrimination (choice) converted internally into the reverse: all inclusion, non-discrimination.
god of "love" gives love to the unlovable....and the worthless must be given some value, as an innate aspect of being born, of existing.
The desired outcome, the idea(l), is the starting "fact", the given, the word.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

He who dares speaks of such things, openly, and honestly, is either a madman or a god, or worse...a philosopher.

PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyMon Apr 04, 2016 5:07 pm

Simple dichotomy of nihilism, in its modern form...

All is as it is, appearance, natural selection discrimination etc....except when it comes to humans. Humans are the exception.
Where all can be categorized and ordered, humans are the epitome of chaos - or self-creating they decide what they are, what they identify as, how they look, what their possibilities are, what words/names apply to them etc.
With humans all bets are off, being so unpredictable as to evade all understanding.
They are born with an innate guaranteed value (from the powers that be), detached from the gold standard {any idea(l)}, but fluctuating according to exchange rates, based on demand (which can be manufactured and directed)....they are all deserving of love and respect, to be listened to and humoured, if need be, but not excluded from any serious conversation....they are all worthy of be replicated, or saved from mortal abyss, made timeless, particularly by a priest serving the God of love and the given, god of words, of THE word.
Who can deny such positive messages?
The sick?
The hateful?
The deranged?
What could be wrong with the one who rejects such pleasing words?

With words he shall bless you and give you eternal bliss and endless life; with words the past will b healed away and buried under mountainous sentences.
With words all should be made as one, all differences erased.

Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyMon Apr 04, 2016 6:33 pm

Humility is so ingrained in the psyche of the victim, the perpetual modern, always up-to-date in his moral and social popular trends, that it it taken for granted.
No matter how weak and baseless, the counter to an argument is, the one assaulted with stupidity, and character assassination attempts, is to show magnanimous forgiveness, a Christian-like, self-sacrifice in the face of need screaming for special considerations and a way out.

A well-crafted argument, full of evidence and logic, can be dismissed on emotional criteria, or redirected using a theoretical evaluation of motives, before it is even considered as plausible.
To this childish meth the one attacked must show the forbearance of a parent towards his children.
The denier acquires the moral position of adolescent, and must be dealt with using the soft gloves of a caring spirit that does not wish to damage a rumbustious mind, full of ambitions and hope.

So, the repeating retardation of a old man, stuck in a perpetual linguistic mental loop, like cAnus can only be confronted with patient loving care, and an [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].
The illusion of salvageable material keeping the pretenses going, when all that is happening is a bunch of needy minds using someone more sick than them to maintain the promise of their own intellect.
For these Moderns keeping the town fool around and multiplying, to dominate the town, is what keep their ego up above, and their sense of self-gratifying altruism rubbing up against its inflated engorgement - hard and stiff, afraid of stiffness that threatens their own with flaccidity.
Instead of dismissing the weak, the idiotic, from their midst, to ascend higher, they prevent such ascent, in the name of progress as one unity - nobody shall be left behind - afraid that if enough fools are driven away they will find themselves at the bottom.
It's why Capitalism needs a middle-class as buffering middle ground where dreams come to die.

The wonderful about this dis-ease of the mind (memetic) is that you need not intrude, to break the cycles.
It's a self-contained, inter-subjective, world on its own.
Why change it, even if you had a chance to break through those linguistic safety nets they depend upon to remain sane and able to deal with their existence.
The fools enter, to reduce it all down to a endless seeking of the lowest-common-denominator, the ones fancying themselves as humbly superior, not using those words openly, forced to abide by their own nihilistic ideals, and remain tolerant and respectful and forever forgiving and accepting of diversity.
Their only way out of this impasse is those institutionally and popularly accepted authorities, intervening to break the stalemates with their expertise - usually dead minds that cannot be accused of self-serving motives.
Philosophy as mind-candy, or academic debates over who said what, what he meant, and how he saw reality....ironically a reality that goes by, unnoticed by these blind bats, because they do not dare to look or to speculate or to stand by their judgments....wanting another to stand behind.
Mistakes absorbed by this chosen other, as if no judgment is at work in choosing your leader, or who best expresses your spirit.

With no world, no objective way to measure judgments, for them, they can only speculate using second-hand experiences, adopting them as their own, and then, like women who find a superior male has taken over, quickly shifting perspectives, and finding a new hero, a new leader, speaking a new truth.
Only this "new" is old.
The packaging may change, the titles, the names...but its basis is the same disconnect from phenomena.
With every reinvention the same nihilism is reborn...free of all past/nature to limit the usage of words (except the dictionary preventing babel from being reduced to total rubble) and the projection of objectives.

Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyTue Apr 05, 2016 11:29 am

The greatest benefit of subjectivty is the absence of seriousness, the necessity to test one's interpretations (abstractions) against reality, or even other interpretations of it.
No longer a matter of life-or-death.
In fact you can live out a lifetime being completely void of understanding, and most people do just that.
They can afford to remain adolescent, exploring hypothetical possibilities, playing with ideas...nothing is of importance so why not just adopt the idea and the identity that flatters our childish needs the best?

The mind, safe and protected from its own delusions, its own errors, need not go into the trouble of assessing the validity of its own perspective.
It can live, a lifetime, repeating mental victories against foes it dares not face. It can be anything, not caring what anyone says.
This is part of its "freedom" of self-creation, its self-identifying liberties.
It has purchased relative immunity, with years of hark work and loyal servitude - it has earned its "right" to think whatever it wants, pretend it is anything it wants, defeat enemies, and crown itself king.
If it does not challenge the institution that provide this service, in return for its work and loyalty, it can delude itself, and numb itself, and escape using any permissible escapism available...and nothing and nobody can ever burst its bubble.

Safe within its own investments, it dreams, and fantasizes, and rejects the apparent reminding it of a past/nature money cannot buy a way out of.
But...at least it has a lifetime, or what is left of it.

Retardation is not simply an insult, it is a honest description of the Modern condition: stunted, in joyous, carefree, infantile exploration "freedom".
What risks?
The institutions have safeguards for all forms of stupidity, and if you are able and willing to work, hard, you can earn multiple a compensating technique/technologies to not have to care about past/nature - making Know Thyself a meditative, escape....calming those recurring doubts.

Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyTue Apr 05, 2016 12:22 pm

As I've said numerous times in the past...

For the positive Nihilist words are not only weapons, but tools shaped into plastic toys...used not to clarify, to nu-conceal, but to obfuscate, to cover-up to imply without stating.
Like some of those "artists" on the pseudo-intellectual circuit splashing colour on canvas and then expecting the observer to "see" things in the mess, the arts intended to say nothing and anything, exploiting the power of suggestion, like those mind-readers and/or astrologers.

A general insinuating usage of word/symbol used to confuse, to imply and say no-thing.
This retains the possibility for plausible deniability, when cornered denying that you means what you did (this magic can do no wrong, and when it does it is intentional, sort of like the Christian God). Denying that you meant what the other exposed as absurd....is truly magical....and then not clarifying but leaving it at that.

It hides the quality of the mind manipulating vanity and ego, stimulating the imagination of the observer, to then claim that he intended whatever the other saw in what is presented.
A simpleton can imply he is sophisticated and complex by remaining as vague and obscure as possible, throwing out words to help the other latch onto, directing him to whatever he hides inside.

This linguistic technique was not invented by those who used it no write the Bible, but it comes from earlier, with the Oracles of Delphi and then later used by Nostradamus.
Using words to produce confusion, with a few placed there to lead the mind towards a desirable outcome - some soothing, flattering outcome.

The opposite of the philosophical motive, with its integrity and commitment to un-covering, using a feeble tool such as language.
Exploiting subjectivty, by using what is common to all, being part of the same meme, and having the same genes, is what the "trick is".
Manipulating emotions, particularly fear, and vanity, and basic human organic needs, desires.
The Nihilist coward, knowing that if he were to speak clearly and honestly he would be exposed, and laughed at, hides in verbal innuendo - clouds of insinuating unclear meanings.
Language, being an art-form, connects with all art-forms that use abstractions with no references, with vague insinuations, as nothing more than this: selling to the masses their own vanity, anxieties, hopes.

All one requires is a talent for word manipulation, and the shamelessness to apply it for personal gain.

That's why I say the motive of the user of words, the artist, is exposed in the outcome.
you can hear when an album was written when the musician had to fulfill a contract, when you compare it to the music he wrote before he was signed up and wrote because he had to, not to earn a buck.

It's one thing to use interpretations of reality to represent reality, and fail to project the metaphor so that the observer can relate, and another when you start with the intention of using metaphors, and words triggering emotions/sensations, to evade lucidity, and to produce, in the observer, confusion not clarity - stimulating, with carefully placed words, internal desires to direct him to see in your art whatever the observer projects there, and then convincing him that it was you, and not he, who put it there - the magicians motive is to be appreciated highly, as the only diviner of cosmic understanding, secret truths only he can read, and because he is needed, to then charge the naive access to his "wisdom".

Same trick they played with usury...and the abstraction of money.
Convince the masses that this abstraction which no longer even represents real resources, has the power to heal whatever ails him, has the power to make dreams real, has the power to give him love and make him desirable, the power to offer him an escape from whatever past he cannot escape on his own, and you have yourself a wage slave
Make money, the concept of it, so abstract as to represents whatever the other sees in it, feels in it...then charge him access to this magical abstraction, this token and talisman, this idol, this code....Keep him enslaved to the abstraction, the word ---- and what was the first word?
God.
A personal absolute, that can be anything for anyone...at nay time.
A cosmopolitan salvation idol, Christ offered, wrenching it away from the usurers who claimed it as their own - no need to buy access to the word, Jesus preached, the code, the talisman of salvation is accessible to all with a pure (naive) spirit, erasing all past/nature....you can have a direct personal relationship with the almighty ONE (monopoly)....
But...what did Saul do?
He returned the idol to the usurers to begin charging fees.
And so the preacher was born, and the banker.

Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyFri Apr 15, 2016 6:02 am

How would a nihilist, denying the nature of reality, survive within it?

By contradicting himself, by lying, by using double standards and then excusing himself from being judged in accordance with his own morals.

Detaching from a world indifferent to your well-being, may presuppose a naive belief that world is benevolent, or, at least, balanced towards your interests, but if this belief is taken to heart, you will suffer.
At some point the Nihilists idealism succumbs to basic survival, and the one professing universal "love" goes off to kill on behalf of his own "love", and the one believing in life after death must be given an excuse not to commit suicide, and the madman living in his own reality must accuse others, as agencies of this denied reality, of all kinds of nasty things, never self as mistaken, as insane, and the hypocrite declaring appearances as being superficial and not judging "books" by their covers, presumably only books, then judges using appearance every single day of his life, or he suffers the consequences.

more than sheltering, protecting insanity from itself, the nihilist has to contradict his own principles to get by in a world he wants to be partially blind to.
His romantic idealism may work when surrounded by those who care for his well-being, or share in his insanity, and if he is also protected from himself, but for how long?
Youthful idealism is replaced by the sobriety of maturity.
Not always lucid, but clever enough to apply his earlier idealism selectively.
An older man has picked up methods he did not have when younger, to remain as detached as possible, because his need to escape remains.
His constitution that could not tolerate world, if anything, wanes, over time, and he has to lie more cleverly to himself, acquiring some tricks to be more convincing, or a entourage of the like-minded where his lies are humoured and shared and offered positive reinforcement.

Word-games, verbal acrobatics, as I've called them, where words remain vague to preserve their flexibility, or used to flip around contexts chasing your tail in circles, are the most valuable tool in a modern's tool-belt.
Without them he would go insane.
Words, as symbols, engulfing him in a uni-verse of supporting semiotics.
but his symbols have no power outside his mind, forcing him to seek like-minded individuals, creating a self-referential community of Nihilists, detaching, in unison, from a distressful world still indifferent to their well-being.
In the presence of such company the lie, the delusion, is no longer a source of shame, but of pride.
Christians who follow the "love thy neighbour" command, gleefully advocating capital punishment, and war against infidels.
This is mass-madness.
A collective of detached from reality minds rallying each other into fits of raging madness, in contradiction to their own principles, ideals, morals.

Yes, a nihilist, a modern, can verbally say anything, living in his own subjective world, but he must act contrary to his own words, if he is to survive in a world where rejection of what is is followed by a severe cost.
Modern systems, Modern mindsets, are all about pretenses and the perfect lie.
Faked civility, faked interest, faked altruism, faked morality, faked intelligence, faked humility, faked pride.

They contradict themselves constantly, using cynicism to redirect and cover up guilt and shame. Those few who do not they call saints, or martyrs, and in private they call them fools

PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyMon Apr 18, 2016 1:51 pm

The absence, lack, of an absolute, felt as need/suffering, is the root cause of this antagonistic relationship between ordering organism and disordering and/or fluctuating world.
Struggling to against this is agon.
An ongoing warfare or a struggle to increase one's order while attrition wears it away.

The Nihilist/Modern calls this absence a "nil" , having already decided it ought to be there.
Lacking it in self, and not discovering it outside self, it relates to world as a negative, and to his own abstractions as the missing "positive".

With Moderns, the latest and last manifestation of Nihilism, you must always remember, that words are how they inflate or deflate their actions.
They are worthless if you wish to evaluate their essence as individuals, and to predict their future (inter)activities.
Words, being plastic, toys, are used like any spineless cephalapod mollusk uses ink, to cloud the waters, and run to hide.
Do not be distracted by their ploys, as you ought not to be by those used by children and women.

Their actions expose them, and define them.

Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyWed May 18, 2016 5:04 pm

Nihilism's strength is, at the same time, its weakness, reflecting its linguistic/symbolic inversions of the real.

It's weakens is its dependence on weakness, its appeal to mental or physical inferiority/insecurity, in all men, in relation to world that threatens life's ordering, particularly those born in Modern times when sheltering has protected unfit, weak, mutations, from facing their natural costs, permitting them, with for a price, to enjoy artificial benefits.

It speaks to the deepest human anxiety/fear, founded on primordial drives to survive; the desire to live placed on a pedestal of conformity, and in the absenc eof past/nature and of any connecting ideals to enjoy, to surrender t the pleasure of existing, as an end in itself.

With its linguistic contradictions/inversions it offers a noetic (ideal) alternative to the real, either in the here/now and immediate future (Utopia) or in the beyond (Paradise), in the unprecedented.

It feeds into simplicity, confusing representation/art, the noumenon, for the phenomenon, the apparent, reducing it all to a subjective decision, a creative will fabricating its own world, as if it were already God.

It sways between emotion and reason, sometimes laying claim to the irrational, the supernatural, the feelings of esoteric hierarchies, and at other times evading exposure by laying claim to empiricism and the exoteric hierarchies - shifting between noumenon and phenomenon it builds its sensationalism in ambiguity, and being forever misunderstood, by the "unworthy", the unfaithful.
Obfuscation is how it retains its seductive promise.
Clarity would expose its visceral, primal, motives and methods.
It is distinctly and proudly anti-philosophical, anti-intellectual, because lucidity would diminish its power over human feebleness.
It's power to stir internal sensations, emotions, that have to be felt, and not understood - the experience has to be personal.

It is forced to lie and pretend, so as to survive within a world it rejects, a reality it denounces, calling it illusion, nurturing itself on paradoxes it constructs.
It can name itself anything, at any time, with no shame, because words need not refer to deeds, so while it calls itself "beyond good and evil" it depends on this religious designation to convert shame into pride, supported numerically, using quantities to compensate for qualities - a kingdom of delusional disillusionment.
All can be reinterpreted when there is nothing to limit the mind's creativity; when there is nothing to discipline the mind to the world.
It has to lie when its manipulation of meekness and humility become power and pride it has to harness and direct.

But this is also its strength.
Who it overpowers is a matter of strength weakness - its identification with negativity or positivity a relationship between unequal minds.
"Negative" what a weaker mind cannot endure, threatening its well-being.
"Positive" what can be endured and used to produce strength in relation to other - how much reality can one endure before breaking, how much life can one live, how much can one see before the brain shatters, and goes blind?
The common man must have this reduced to symbols it can digest: good/evil, positive/negative, God/Satan, one/nil.

Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyThu May 19, 2016 5:45 pm

What the mind cannot find in itself, what it cannot construct by itself, from itself, it places outside itself - embraced by it, immersed in it, soon to awaken to it, to be saved by it; it gives itself to its presumed preexistence, its uni-versality.
Modern conceptions of the evil, the Christian understanding of the Devil, are expressions of intuitive self-knowledge, slowly awakening to its own nature, and the ideal, the absolute good, all that is missing within, is to be found out there, already in existence:
hope, meaning, order, authority, morality, nobility, value, love, consciousness, wholeness, oneness all externalized because they are alien to the common man - without their imagined presence, he would revert to his true essence.
Can we not see the true spirit of the average christian in his depiction of Satan, and his definition of his God?
Is not the externalized God of the Jew projections of what he cannot find in himself?
Without this One God of goodness, he can only comprehend what is most intimate to him: violence, rape, aggression, destruction, uncontrolled passions, need, fear expressed in anger, vanity, narcissism, hypocrisy, hyperbole, debauchery, animal instincts.

Have we not been warned by Plato, through Socrates' image, to not share with the young some forms of wisdom, some liberating insights?
Have we not seen in Harris' depiction of the devilish overman, a personae toying with the secret, repressed, parts of Modern man?:

Lecter, Hannibal wrote:
I can feed the caterpillar, I can whisper through the chrysalis, but what hatches follows its own nature and is beyond me.

What a Modern Nihilist fears the most is that part of himself he denies to himself; that which he has buried beneath a fabricated, adopted, character suit, and will not permit to come forth - this is why objectivity, when dealing with human nature, frightens him back into the subjectivity of the cocooned chrysalis.
He fears it in others, the most, because he cannot comprehend what is beyond his nature, and his nature terrifies him.
Pious Christians, fanatic Muslims, self assured Jews, despise the alien, the other, the infidel, the faithless.
Through him they fear themselves - hating him they love themselves - forgiving him they save themselves.

PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyThu May 19, 2016 6:21 pm

Idea(l) = the combination, and accentuation of precedent, of past/nature as it is known, understood and appreciated by the particular mind.

The organism awakening to itself (self-consciousness), takes what it finds in itself, to the degree that it is present in itself, inflates it, combines it in, sometimes, extraordinary ways, and then projects it as a desired goal, an objective.
The degree of hyperbole reflecting the organism's own appreciation of its own deficiency, in relation to the idea(l).
In Nihilists, where self-hatred has resulted in a rupture, a total detachment, the idea(l) takes on the form of the super-natural, the surreal, compensating for this deficiency in self.
All idea(l)s from morality to biology, from spirituality to politics, reflect this detachment, this desired distancing of self from self.
All that is feared as undesirable, as belonging to self, is understood as the "negative", to be denied, forgotten, dismissed, labelled evil, as bad.
All that is lacking in self is projected as a hyperbolic image, a vague concept, as the already in existence, but other than self, objective.

Moderns, adhering to 'positive nihilism' - those who believe in the absolute, calling it god, order, thing, love, value, consciousness, one, substance, particle, or anything negating the experience of world by implying a hidden secret they cannot prove, but feel - must deny the very possibility of chaos, as randomness, because its contradicts each and every version of their divine thing.
Even the concept of order has to hide order, as complexity, or what has yet to be found.

Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyTue Jun 21, 2016 3:11 pm

The cosmos void of meaning, purpose, God, telos, objective morality, or any absolute cannot be a nil, since it exists.
Nihilism associated the noumenon with the "positive", whereas it most often associates the phenomenon with the "negative".
An absence of an absolute IS existence, and the abstractions man projects are representations of it - taken literally.
Here the mind mistakes its simplifications/generalizations for what is, or what ought to be, and when it discovers that the cosmos lacks these abstractions it relates to this in a negative way - sometimes reaching the level of denial, detachment.

No absolute nil or one.

But to contradict a proposed absurdity one must do so with an equal to it absurdity.

Therefore an atheist must offer a absolute disbelief to the original absurd conception of God, in the Abrahamic sense of the word.
Christians then accuse atheists of being like themselves, faith-believers, when the first presupposition, represented by them, is already absurd, and ought not to be taken seriously.
The only reason it is, is because of its popularity, how it infects billions of imbeciles, making ti a political force, rather than a philosophical one.

the correct response of agnosticism, where the concept is given a probability.
in this case, the Abrahamic God hypothesis, lacking all evidence, all precedent, and all empirically validated experience of it, is give a probability so low that it might as well be considered an impossibility.

But this is the challenge of all rational minds confronted with imbeciles infected with Nihilistic absolutes.
to negate the original hypothesis of an absolute, one must negate it producing the linguistic modernistic paradox of "There is absolutely no absolute" and/or "Truth is there is no truth"...proper expression would be "There is no evidence of an absolute, truth, god or by any other name, so unless the proposing mind can offer evidence of it, or a coherent argument in its support one should file it under the category of: absurd and/or nonsense"...but,a gain, because this infection is popular, and has become a political force, one must confront it, rather than give it what it is worth and ignore it.

Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 EmptyTue Jun 21, 2016 3:27 pm

Nihilism is all that denies, rejects, what is, even if this means an absence of an absolute.

The old binary 1/0 is the polar extensions of the nihilistic paradigm.
Modern kinds are trapped within its semiotics.
Essentially, they are trapped in their own noetic constructs, unable to comprehend them as interpretations, artistic representations, of a fluctuating cosmos of patterned and non-patterned dynamism.

Patterns of varying degrees of dynamism, sequences repetition, (inter)acting are what the brain interprets as the different varieties of matter/energy.
A negative attitude towards a cosmos void of meaning, purpose, god, universal morality, is itself a nihilistic attitude.

To the Abrahasmic positive Nihilism, Marxism presented an alternate, placing humanity in the place of god, bringing down to earth the notion of a beyondness Paradise, calling it a future immanent Utopia.
Marxism was the secularization of Abrahamic Nihilism.
Humanism is its most current adaptation of socioeconomic, memetic, circumstances.

Anarchy, as a byproduct of Marxism is the cynical dismissal of all human meanings, purposes, ideals, - it is perspectivism pushed to its nullifying extreme.
With no way to just quality, within the quantities, the mind refuses all ideals not of its own making, considering its own as just as valuable, just as lucid, just as applicable as any other.
In this case, as with all nihilism, the objective world is rejected as an illusion, or too complex to make sense of, because the inferior mind cannot extricate self from projection, from empathy, from imagination, and so settles upon fantasy with self as the "hero".

Unable to determine higher form lower, more probable from less probable, superior form inferior, its rejects it all, becoming a pure nihilist - destroying all variations, remaining cynically dismissive, unable to deal with the implications to its ego - it destroys, levels all down to parity, so that its own quality is lost in the dust.
It would rather negate the entire world than face its own place within it - the beginning of advancement is found in this self-knowledge.

Nihilism: Signs & Symptoms - Page 6 Empty

To, even, name the cosmos a "nil" because it does not come bearing the abstractions man needs, does not provide what man is desperate for, is the epitome of nihilism.
The Greeks called it kosmos, not uni-verse - a jewel, a ornament.
They did not expect it to provide, for them, these human constructs.
Most, at least, did not expect these construct to already exist.
They knew that ti was man who had to create them, for himself.

But not all creations are equal, are they?
A hierarchy - superior-inferior ideals.
The cosmos was the standard to measure the human idea(l)s, otherwise any madness would be just as valuable as reasoning, and there would be no need for natural selection.

The idea(l) is measured against reality, bu how many reference points it has - how many references points the noumenon has to the phenomena, and if no intervening power mitigates between actor and act, it is cosmos that determines success from failure - the outcome determining the accuracy of the projected cost/benefits.

Positive Nihilism = There is an absolute out there (under, over, inside, hidden... ), waiting for us to discover it.
This sets-up the coming of the priest, as the self-declared, teacher, the conduit to this already existing absolute: value him, bow to him, so as to gain access to this divine Being.
Positive Nihilism can also be expressed as the "I say so" perspectivism of "Might is Right".
Unable, or unwilling to connect noumena to phenomena, unrestricted by the order in the world, the mind invents fantastic constructs - this is only possible when sheltering is present, otherwise a quick death follows - detached noumena, validating themselves by infecting as many minds as possible. .

Nihilism Proper = There is no absolute and this makes life not worth living - destroy, deny, reject, laugh at it all, slander it all - temper tantrum of a child in need and no parent there to aid it.

Nullifying the Nihilist = there are no absolutes, the very idea is ludicrous, but this is a positive...life is worth living for this reason alone.
Create meaning, purpose, but create them founded, grounded in the world, not in some noetic ethereal realm in the mind.
Build/Construct from the materials/energies, the patterns, found within world.
