Psychology 101 - Page 20 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Psychology 101 Psychology 101 - Page 20 EmptyFri 28 Jun 2019 - 11:17

The physical is always more 'honest' than the mental.
The body's automated processes preceded the evolution of mental attempts to control them and to compensate.
The body is governed by genes memories - plant-like, it reacts to stimuli.
The mind evolved to usurp and to control.

The pretence, if it fails, accomplishes the opposite of what it intended.

Self-deceit evolved to make deception more effective.
It is often the case that a hypocrite is actually convinced that his duplicity is the honest truth.

The mind evolved to multiply survival potential, not to perceive reality as it is.
If lying to one's self accentuates performance, then it adds to fitness.
Because the survival of the genes take precedent over the survival of the individual.

Peacock is a good example. The individual peacock's survival is a secondary affair. What matters is that it survives long enough to attract as many females as possible.
Dawkins called it 'the selfish gene'.

Genes are memories.
Memories survive the death of individual organisms.

Only man, because of the degree of awareness that multiplies will's freedom, can contradict its own genetic encoding.

In many ways the philosophical mind is anti-survival, because it exposes itself to awareness that is mostly detrimental to its welfare.
Many famous philosophers never had children or married....their philosophical acumen was a hindrance to their genetic dispositions.
We might say that these types evolve only in societies of homogeneous genetic excess - those able to sacrifice one or two individuals because the shared genes are ensured survive through other individuals.
Nihilism is a by-product of this self-annulling conflict between the body's programming to survive and the mind's ability to contradict this programming.
It becomes species annulment when it goes viral infecting the entire group.

For instance, the present degeneracy in the Judeo-Puritan 'west' is a sign of decay - individuals that fail to pass on genes that are not shared means their survival is not assured. The end-phase of a 'culture', after it has produced a civilization.
Hellenism decayed after it passed through the phase of Roman 'civilization' - 'empire'. The Romans adopts it, warped it, by translating it into their own italic understanding, build an empire on its principles and then was infested by a memetic-virus that eventually brought it all down, after a phase of fragmentation and ephemeral rejuvenation.

PostSubject: Re: Psychology 101 Psychology 101 - Page 20 EmptyFri 28 Jun 2019 - 11:24

What would be fascinating would be an exploration of the parasite, and how it infests a host and gradually erodes the processes - principles - that maintain its virility, to the point where it perishes, taking with it the parasite.
This is another example of how genetics override memetics.....only now it is reversed.
Memes ensure their own survival at the detriment of their genetic hosts.
The core ideas/ideals - whether it is presented as a spiritual dogma or a political ideology - survive by negating host after host.

This is the Nihilistic meme-virus.
They call it ethnic suicide.
The individual is infected by an idea that makes it turn agaisnt its own genetic survival, because its is governed by the memetic programming that overrides its genetic impulses.
The ideas/ideals survive, infecting one host after the other, but each host is destroyed by the experience.

Self-contradiction, self-deception, is a mechanism - zombification.

An evolution of the virus, from genetically based to memetical.
I've also investigated the essence of the parasite - also evolving into a memetic variant.
A host/virus symbiont.

An example would be Gypsies. A culture built around parasitical behaviour - living off the refuse of a host.
Judaism is, by far, the most sophisticated version. Here we have an idea/ideal that infests a host on the highest cognitive levels - turning it agaisnt itself - ensuring its own demise along with the host it feeds off of.
Then it moves on to another. the idea/ideal - meme - survives, even when its individuals are slaughtered, or sacrificed in its name.

Nihilism is an inversion ni all areas.
While the natural process is an advancement form genetic to memetics, Nihilism inverts the process, beginning with memetic and then attempting to become genetically viable.
It begins from the idea/ideal, entirely detached from anything corporeal, tangible, real, and then it tries to translate itself, via contact with a host, into a tangible entity.
The host is harvested for genetic material, while its memetic core is hollowed out, leaving only a body without a mind - zombification. The body is essentially hijacked by a meme - an idea/ideal that uses it as a proxy.

An example would be the U.S.
It is currently a husk - hollowed out from all substance - it is pure idea - 'freedom'. It has no genetic homogeneity - culture of no culture.
What was left of its gene-meme substantiality is no longer present. It is entirely an ideology, using an abstraction - i.e., freedom - as its identification.
Ironically, most of its members do not believe in freedom - individuality built on an underlying collectivism.
god was the unifying abstraction, now its been 'upgraded' to an abstraction that can be translated as anything, by anyone at any time - the most popular interpretation being 'consumer choices'.
Money is its 'messianic' idol. Through money all will be 'saved' from themselves and from the world - a nihilistic idea with no corporeality needs an appropriate symbol, and money is a perfect abstraction.....it no longer represents anything tangible - not even gold - but is entirely a concept - a promissory note, guaranteed by the collective, full of potentials.

How can you hold man-made law accountable when you've placed a higher law above it, making it a mere manifestation of a higher absolute authority?

Self-deception, indeed.
If man could do nothing more than abide by God's Will, then on what grounds does a secular member of the same herd, accuse social law and order of failing to live up to its own principles?

You cannot hold something or someone accountable to its own mundane rules, if you've absolved yourself from all accountability using divine law, a higher absolute rule, without exposing your hypocrisy.

'Herd psychology' was not invented by Nietzsche, no more than 'ego' was invented by Freud, yet those belonging to the herd expose their fragile ego when they can only understand these concepts through these mediating social icons.

Unable to engage nature directly the modern seeks and easily finds mediators - such as were priests and shamans, the former referring to natural order - phenomenal, apparent, cosmic - and the latter to artificial order - linguistic, man-made, noetic.

Obscurantism and the intentional misuse and abuse of language, is sometimes motivated by a self-appraisal that wishes to remain elusive to mediocrity, but this is most often used as a ruse to imply a motive that is something completely different, such as the motive to imply superiority and to mask mediocrity.

A method also used in the arts, such as the surreal misuse and abuse of form, implying talent, but really covering up a lack of it.

To distinguish one form the other, precedent is helpful.
If the agency has never provided anything of talent, that can be evaluated in relation to reality, then one can confidently assume that his uses and misuse is hiding lack of talent, behind the pretence of a deeper, more profound talent.

Once more the indifferent external objective world uncovers, reveals, the subjective motive.

A spinster, or a female who has failed in multiple relationships with males, will never seek the reason in her own attitude and behaviour but will, instead, accuse all men of being 'pigs' or 'dogs'.
She will project her own responsibility upon another...or a vague idea of otherness - like all males.

Having failed to establish a relationship she will place herself on a pedestal, or her criteria will become so severe as to justify her never having to fail in a new relationship. In this way she can both negate all males and explain why she failed, repeatedly...not once exposing her judgement to its own flaws.
Any new suitor ill be immediately be dismissed as not 'good enough' for her high standards.....so as to avoid testing her own judgement once more.

She will become a nihilist....like all desperate degenerates who pretend to be damsels in distress.

She will go out of her way to discredit other relationships, because they are flaw as well, and nothing but the absolutely perfect will ever do for her.
This is how she expresses what is ego threatening - her own bad judgement, her own naive stupidity, her own flaws.
It's not that she was a romantic, a naive imbecile, dreaming of the perfect relationship, but it was the fault of men.
She will go out of her way to undermine all relationships, on the ground that they fail to meet her perfection standard...and will attempt to cast doubt and turmoil within them, because she cannot understand why she failed...and her failure must become a universal truth, or a product of duplicity, or coercion.
Her own naivete is projected upon all women involved in stable relationships with men.

Now, in her old age, she is not only a spinster she is also a stupid cunt - a bitch...a bitter cat-lady, slowly going insane as she awaits her death.

This allegory describes the Modern nihilist - the desperate degenerate.
Having been so gullible, so infantile, so idiotic, as to fall for the most transparent lies, she now goes the other way...and becomes dismissive of all idea and theories that do not meet her impossible to attain criterion - absolute certainty, absolute perfection.....with no god, she knows she will never fall for any worldly alternative that does not match god's perfection.
She falls for Abrahamism, then she falls for Marxism....and now she's become a bitter old-hag, denouncing all ideas as equally imperfect. Her own idiocy is unloaded upon other.....because to face the fact about her own quality fo mind, would be too hurtful - the responsibility would be a weight she could not bear.

There's an old Greek proverb that says....
'He who burns himself on porridge, blows on the yoghurt.'

The normal man's antipathy to his relatives, particularly of the second degree, is explained by psychologists in various tortured and improbable ways. the true explanation, is a good deal simpler. It lies in the plain fact that every man sees in his relatives, and especially in his cousins, a series of grotesque caricatures of himself. They exhibit his qualities in disconcerting augmentation or diminution; they fill him with a disquieting feeling that this, perhaps, is the way he appears to the world and so they wound his amour propre and give him intense discomfort. To admire his relatives whole-heartedly a man must be lacking in the first sort of self-respect.

An organism's "aura" is the product of the sum-total of patterns - types of patterns, i.e., matter/energy - participating in its organization.
Their inter-activities - attraction/repulsion - and how these different patterns inter-relate manifests in an organic magnetic field of effect, i.e., Aura.

This can be intuitively perceived by other organism - animals are sensitive to it, and females are particularly adept in perceiving it.
Lower levels of self-awareness - ego - facilitates a higher intuitive sensitivity to external stimuli.
Ego = lucid part of self - the part of self which is becoming aware of itself. The ego usually corrupts intuitive perception, producing too much psychological 'noise'. But a mind can train itself to quiet its ego so as to become more intuitively perceptive - feminine sensitivity.

An aura is not static, but fluctuating. Organic shifts in energy balances are constantly changing its field of effect. We can feel this as mood.
An individual's aura is not controlled by him - but he can change it with diet, nutrition, and meditation.
An individual is projecting data, via his organic aura, without knowing it.
This may produce a dissonance others will perceive as uneasiness, or a conflict between what is being expressed linguistically and what energies are being projected, organically - mind/body dissonance.
Women can sense this as an indication of pretence and/or hypocrisy, though they may not know why or how.
When the dissonance is severe, or the mind/body conflict hints at something vile - organic disease - it can produce what is described as creepiness.

An individual's aura is an energy resonance - magnetic field of effect - that immediately attracts and repels without engaging the mind consciously (ego).
Attraction/Repulsion is automatic - a product of its psychosomatic aggregate.
Though we use the dualistic attraction/repulsion metaphor the phenomenon can be best defined by the term "harmony" - organic harmonics.
If approached from the "positive" (attraction) it is a measure of "harmony" - if approached from the "negative" (repulsion) it is a measure of disharmony - both measure the exact same interactivity - relationship between "I" and "other".

An organism's judgement - evaluation of this relationship - can contradict this organic relationship.
This is evident in meme/gene conflicts.
Gene = organic aggregates - body.
Meme = mental aggregates - mind.

Nihilism establishes a negative relationship with reality, manifesting in mind/body dissonance.
Such an individual may be organically attracted to what mentally repulses it, and/or organically repulsed by what mentally attracts it.

Mindfulness involves triangulation and a psychosomatic osculations trying to harmonize with localized cosmic interactions.
When we harmonize with the immediately observable we are in-tune with environment, which can be expanded - projected - to encompass more of past - precedent - and more of future - objective.

I have a nephew with autism and I met someone, in another forum, with Asrpergers.
Very socially awkward.
Unable to adapt to others. Lack of social ability; pick up cues.

Autism should not be confused for idiocy.
An idiot can be excessively dependent on authorities, unable to "think outside the proverbial box" of social conventions"; rigidity of thought and conceptualizing.

An autistic individual lacks charm because he cannot pick-up on verbal cues, adjusting himself to his companion; lack of empathy - not to be confused for sympathy/antipathy.

The normalization of paedophilia will be next on the SJW agenda.
It will follow the same recipe used to "normalize" homosexuality and is now normalizing transsexualism.
Subtle messages on television shows, including "newscasts", in movies in cRap and pop-musac, in general.
Depiction of spring/fall relationship in a favourite light, insertion of "ageism" as the negative meme resisting the expansion of "love", and so on.
once the age of consent is dropped, it will continue to drop, based on a romantic idealistic definition of the concept of "love".
The intrinsic aggressive component contained in the act of heterosexual sexual intercourse - necessitating the evolution of the feminine as a biological type that can submit to it, and even enjoy it - is all but absent.
Love has been cleansed of all its reality - converted to an idea/ideal.

Pain & Suffering – body/mind – sets the limits of an organism’s will; cultivating discipline and self-knowledge. If some external mitigating factor alters this relationship between subjective mind and objective reality, the organism’s awareness of world and of self is distorted, postponing pain/suffering indefinitely, or until the mitigating factor no longer intervenes.
Physical pain & mental suffering is the sensation of an organism’s relationship with world; tolerance and endurance indicates its power; awareness of options indicates perceptual quality; power and awareness determine choices.

Nietzsche, Friedrich wrote:
This gulf of oblivion separates the worlds of everyday life and Dionysian experience. But as soon as daily reality re-enters consciousness, it is experienced as such with a sense of revulsion; the fruit of those states is an ascetic, will-negating mood. In this sense Dionysiac man is similar to Hamlet: both have gazed into the true essence of things, they have acquired knowledge and they find action repulsive, for their actions can do nothing to change the eternal essence of things; they regard it as laughable and shameful that they should be expected to set to rights a world so out of joint. Knowledge kills action; action requires one to be shrouded in a veil of illusions – this is the lesson of Hamlet, not that cheap wisdom about Jack the Dreamer who does not get around to acting because he reflects too much, out of an excess of possibilities, as it were. No, it is not reflection; it is true knowledge, insight into the terrible truth, which outweighs every motive for action, both in the case of Hamlet and in that of Dionysiac man. Now no solace has any effect, there is a longing for a worlds beyond death, beyond the gods themselves; existence is denied, along with its treacherous reflection in the gods or in some immortal Beyond. Once truth has been seen, the consciousness of it prompts man to see only what is terrible or absurd in existence wherever he looks; now he understands the symbolism of Ophelia’s fate, now he grasps the wisdom of the wood-god Silenus: he feels revulsion.
Awareness inhibits action. To see too much is to be less inclined to choose.
Power, in relation to the will's freedom, is exposed as a relationship with the world; will limited by the external but also by its own weakness, and reluctance – seeing too many consequences on the horizon.
Awareness has to be coupled with spiritual fortitude – a strength to endure the unforeseen, when the foreseen is already imposing some degree of reluctance.

Nietzsche, Friedrich wrote:
I assess the power of a will by how much resistance, pain, torture it endures and knows how to turn to its advantage.
How far is this from the hedonist's dream?

This is the paradox of my existence: I have loved life passionately but have never dared to channel this love in the direction of normal erotic experience.... Why must my head split open with the roar of a thousand seas, I who loved the stillness of the mountains and walked alone through miles of utter silence?

I do not say lonely — at least, not all the time — but essentially, and finally, alone. This is what makes your self-respect so important, and I don't see how you can respect yourself if you must look in the hearts and minds of others for your happiness.

Lasch, Christopher wrote:
Families of this type arise in America not just in response to a particular member's pathology but as a normal response to prevailing social conditions. As the world of business, jobs, and politics becomes more and more menacing, the family tries to create for itself an island of security in the surrounding disorder. It deals with internal tensions by denying their existence, desperately clinging to an illusion of normality. Yet the picture of harmonious domestic life, on which the family attempts to model itself, derives not from spontaneous feeling but from external sources, and the effort to conform to it therefore implicates the family in a charade of togetherness or 'pseudo-mutuality,’ as one student of schizophrenia calls it. The mother in particular, on whom the work of childrearing devolves by default, attempts to become an ideal parent, compensating for her lack of spontaneous feeling for the child by smothering him with solicitude. Abstractly convinced that her child deserves the best of everything, she arranges each detail of his life with a punctilious zeal that undermines his initiative and destroys the capacity for self-help. She leaves the child with the feeling, according to Kohut, that he has 'no mind of his own'. His idealistically inflated impressions of the mother persist unmodifies by later experience, mingling in his unconscious thoughts with fantasies of infantile omnipotence.

Lasch, Christopher wrote:
On the assumptions that pathology represents a heightened version of normality, we can now see why the absence of the American father has become such a crucial feature of the American family: not so much because it deprives the child of a role model as because it allows early fantasies of the father to dominate subsequent development of the superego.
The father's absence, moreover, deforms the relations between mother and child. According to a misguided popular theory, the mother takes the father's place and confuses the child by assuming a masculine role ('Momism'). In the child's fantasies, however, it is not the mother who replaces the father but the child himself. When a narcissistic mother, already disposed to see her offspring as extensions of herself, attempts to compensate the child for the father's desertion (and also to conform to the socially defined standards of ideal motherhood), her constant but perfunctory attentions, her attempts to make the child feel wanted and special, and her wish to make it 'stand out' communicate themselves to the child in a charged and highly disturbing form. The child imagines that the mother has swallowed or castrated the father and harbors the grandiose fantasy of replacing him, by achieving fame or attaching himself to someone who represents a phallic kind of success, thereby bringing about an ecstatic reunion with the mother.

Passive-aggression always finds aggression intolerably unnecessary.
It's own alternative avoids many of the consequences by diverting them towards directions where they can be denied.
Unable to rationalize any other option, under the cloud of the possible repercussions, it concludes that it is irrational.
A women always considers a male's propensity for overt brutality a product of inferiority; her covert brutality can attain levels unimaginable by males who are always forced to consider the consequences - even if after-the-fact, when the pathos has subsided, and lucidity is returned to its previous level.
She is both awed and afraid of it - depending on its focus.
This triggers in her primordial impulses, agaisnt her will; attracting her to what is threatening.
Her sexuality is tied to the process of converting fight/flight to passionate intoxication, equating the mysterious and incomprehensible, with the superior.

If the Liberal ideal is ever realized and there no longer exists any race to channel an individual's self-loathing through then, I fear, he will do so through what remains of his own species; expressing his or her dissatisfaction with self by hating his own specie.
The next phase of his redirected self-destructiveness would have commenced, hoping to merge homo sapient with other primates.
But does anyone think that will be the end of it?
There will always be men born so inferior that their own existence is intolerable to them; men too cowardly to eliminate themselves and too vain to live with the idea that others exist who do not share their condition.

If a horse fly were to develop the level of self-awareness many humans have then a typical human psychology would arise similar to that experienced by the inferior in relation to the superior.
Imagine what pride and pleasure a horse fly would experience when it makes a horse flinch and swing its tail in annoyance; how its ego would inflate, for having a powerful beast, give notice to its insignificant bite.
Would not such a creature feel as powerful as a horse by making it pay attention to its insignificance? Would not it feel its equal, or its superior....when the horse cannot annoy a fly, but a fly can a horse?

Art, including language, is an externalization of internal interpretation and reactions to stimuli.
Just as a technology is the externalization of man's understanding of himself, relative to world, art is the externalization of the mind's relationship with reality.
The type of art one likes is a product of this relationship - biological harmony in relation to world harmony.
The types of music preferred reflects a harmonic agreement - biorhythms (metabolism) and a musical piece.
Hidden aspects of ourselves are triggered by a melody, or a rhythm, or a tone, relieving us of their tensions.

Any rhythm, melody, beat, not emanating from yourself reminded you of your own ephemeral essence.
Not only the otherness of music but that it ended....like you will.
