The German is particularly threatening because it is a spirit of conquest and collective discipline.

Ukrainians intentionally made their stand in cities, because there they could use civilians as shields and civilian casualties for propaganda.
It's why Russia used the "cauldron strategy" which takes time....so the Americanized media uses this as evidence that Russia is losing, or not "meeting its objectives", because all these liars know what Russia's objectives are.

Another factoid...
Ukraine's armed forces were huge. Russia invaded with no more than 200,000 troops.
They were preparing this for years.
Nobody reports this fact.
Russian forces are outnumbered 2 or 3 to 1.
They are also hampered by their orders not to cause civilian casualties, because most are Russians in the areas where the major battles are occurring - east.
They could have done what the Us does...bombed the shit out of them for 30 days straight....and then moved in.
