I get the impression that one of the main reasons he is on Russia's side in this conflict is because all his life he wanted to fight Naaaaazisss, and the de-nazification statement made by Russia made his heart skip a beat.

In contrast, someone like Douglas Macgregor knows about the decline of quality and capability in the Western empire and talks about how the borders are not secured and all the people who are coming in and are changing the quality of the US. Does Macgregor know about Js? Maybe, but I wouldn't bet on it. He is well read in history but whether or not he managed to break through that particular level of conditioning, that's hard to tell.
