Rhythms filling the landscape with mingling melodies, ascending and descending in crescendo, one giving way to the other; randomness, white noise, as the din of background.
A world of notes, emerging and merging, above the increasing noise, and over that the birth of a steady systolic/diastolic drumbeat, breathing, in and out, giving the melody a tempo.

The Greek dances upon the ebb and flow, leaping up and settling down, joyfully celebrating his lament, rejoicing before the coming end.

A musician who creates music to sell, and to be popular, to impress and to receive accolades, will spill that inner need into his creation, cheapening it with a value, already pre-determined; the motive making the movement convulsive, desperate, empty of spirit.
He will sell the song, to those like him, shallow and full of repressed dissatisfaction, not pouring out as inner energy that must burst, but as a cry for attention wanting to gather.
He does not create, because it spills out of him, but he creates to bait and pull in, to trap and manipulate - he creates to hoard and collect, after an initial investment is offered.
He is more interested in marketing, and how to make his name infamous, not ashamed to sample an other's music, pretending it is his own.

As it is for artist and creation, it is for the philosopher with thoughts, and a father with his children.

The ordering appetite of the human brain, serving the body's ordering, is so insatiable that it digs into the deepest crevices to hunt it down, and when none is present, it imagines it hidden underneath it all, conspicuous but not absent.
How it imagines it is by sampling, regurgitating and re-masticating, what order has been consumed and stored as fatty memory.
It brings it up, remembers it, and then deconstructs it once more, trying new novel combinations - exotic and new, to identify the mysterious secret.

Ah, but all hides a god.
The devil lurks in the vast expanses of what seems empty darkness - he pops up, as if from nowhere, does his work and then disappears.
His greatest rick: that he convinced the pious and the weak that he does not exist.

Fragility of Beauty
The most subtle patterns combine to produce the most complex forms of symmetry.
Fragile in their sophisticated congruence, where the slightest change will reduce it to something less than what it is.
It is in Flux where beauty emerges and is threatened by the shifting tides and random events, and the ephemeral approach to the more ordered, the divine, is what we value the most, because it reminds us of how rare it is.

Domestic Terrorism

When a populace has a thin skin, a weak will, simply speaking the truth they don't want to hear is terrifying - terrorism.

For the pagan every part of existence is vibrant with energy.
Energy (vibration) is this pattern of repetitive consistent predictability, ordering.
The pattern reverberating at a particular rate, a particular rate, rhythm.
Each different vibration/pattern is what the conscious mind interprets as element, as phenomenon, as the different manifestation of the apparent, and along with it the reverberations with no patterned energy (random), which the mind cannot interpret and so perceives as black/void.
This patterned (inter)action, the Flux, is by no means to be understood as being alive, but only vibrant, flowing, ordering, each pattern (inter)acting in congruence, or in conflict, to varying degrees, producing more complex unities of emergent phenomena.

Life should not be understood as this simple (inter)activity, finding harmony in patterns harmonizing to one degree or another to produce complexity. This is the necessary step towards the emergence of what we call live.
Life is that plus iteration: the pattern feeding back into itself, energies lost during the process of (inter)active congruity; energies partially reintegrated back into the congruity - slowly deteriorating with every external (inter)action, preserving itself within the flux for a longer period of time, or with more self-correcting effectiveness - as if wilfully.

From this basic pattern congruity, where iteration emerges, the next stage would be for this iteration to assimilate not only its own lost energies, feeding them back into the congruity, but to assimilate patterns not belonging to the congruity - the start of feeding/assimilation.
Assimilation involving the harmonizing of this different patterns within the participating pattern's collective, either increasing or decreasing their vibration to harmonize with the congruity.  
Only at this point can we begin to think of this process as life, or as a self-preserving congruity.

The term self-preserving is misleading.
The congruity is never a complete, stable, unified self - a one - but always moving toward completion - each iteration resulting in a loss denying perfection, completion.

Imagine a man walking upstream in a river.
At first he makes progress, but after a while he grows fatigued, and can only maintain his position - as if he were standing still.
But nothing is static - not the water, not him as organism, not even the ground he is standing on, trying to resist the river's flow, not even the river banks are static.
By standing still he is actually exerting force in resistance, never at a complete stand-still, always moving in relation to water and ground, and deteriorating as ordering called organism - by self-preservation the organism is really striving to retain what order it has accumulated.
It's resistance to increasing randomness, is this movement towards order, never completely attained.
The organism may feel comfortable at ease, but it is constantly exerting effort to resist and grow.

One appreciates life in relation, in reference, to death, one evaluates order, in relation to, in reference to chaos, one appreciates light in reference to darkness, one measure power, strength, in reference to weakness.

You begin from the bottom to measure the height, your advancement towards the top.

Top<>Down thinking is what Judeo-Christian/Muslims, and naive Nihilists do, to pat themselves on the back, declare themselves es kings, before they justify and figure out why they are so "high".

A short fable of Zeno and a lion

Zeno decides to go on a safari. On his trip, he is confronted with a lion that is at a distance of 100 meters from him.

The lion notices Zeno and begins running towards him, not having eaten anything for a long time.

Ah, ha! Exclaims Zeno. But you can not reach me, lion! Because in order to reach me you would have to get halfway which is 50 meters, but in order to get halfway you would have to get halfway halfway which is 25 met... *Lion reaches Zeno, breaks his spine and bites his head off*

The moral lesson we can learn from this: remember not to mistake your symbols for reality itself, else you become dinner for lions.

The chain of causality, looking backward in time, begins with a near-absolute point, we call Big Bang, and proceeds, towards increasing chaos, caused by (inter)acting patterns.
This is what we experience as the arrow of time, the chain of causality.
From near-absolute order, towards near-absolute chaos, and life as the (re)action/resistance, as ordering in the disordering.

Expanding space/time emans increasing possibilities, and decreasing probabilities, tending first towards complexity, in relation to human mental ordering, and then the end stage tending towards absolute chaos, which is what randomness implies.
Where possibilities are infinite there is nothing restricting possibility - like probability, ordering, patterns.
Probability is a limit of possibility.
If we can even imagine absolute chaos, which is impossible as a state, we can imagine it as a state where all is possible, at any point in space/time.  
Of course, since absolutes are absent, and would mean an end to existence, absolute chaos is as impossible as absolute order, the state of absolute randomness is as possible as the state of the singular probable.
If we can imagine absolute order, also impossible, it is a state where all possibilities have imploded to an absolute probability - a certainty.

Looking back, we (re)call what has been stored because it was perceived, as order, and what was not, either because ti was complex or because it lacked all order (lacked pattern) has been erased from memory, as it could not be stored, ordered - simplified/generalized into an abstraction.
The arrow of time points towards increasing entropy, and disordering, and looking back, is always looking towards the near-absolute order, the almost completed singularity - the God, the One, that was never quite that.
Furthermore, the brain, in the service of an organism, is a tool of ordering, and so it can only look back, in memory, or to the immediate past we call "present" as order... memory and abstraction being the mind's ordering of its experiences.

Randomness, produces by patterns (inter)acting and through this conflict, especially when the patterns are not harmonious, some part/piece of the pattern splinters off, either to be (re)assimilated, falling into a lower median state of pattern (median in relation to the patterns engaged), or losing all pattern....this last is randomness, and it is part of the increasing chaos.

The previous clarifies why man feels melancholy, nostalgic, lamenting what he has never experienced, and why he invents concepts representing absolute states, and why in relation to them he feels lacking, and why Flux is experienced, by a conscious organism, as the sensation of need/suffering - agon.

How can you value something without knowing what it is, and from where it emerges, and how rare it is, for that reason?
how do you appreciate its rarity without placing it before the rule it emerges from?
What value is love, if all deserve it, what value in beauty if it is in the eye of the beholder?

To bridge the temporal distance between observer and observed, the subjective and the objective, the ideal and the real, is the noblest work.
It requires stamina, imagination rooted in reality rather than uprooting from it, and most of all courage.

To take words and use them in novel ways, implying that something deep is being expressed, is what fools do - desperate to stand-out, and to find acknowledgement in their invisibility, safety in their cowardice.
Imagination disconnecting rather than standing upon world, is fantasy. In the extreme it is delusion, insanity.

What can be called "Objective" is best interpreted as a function of age, potential, and specifically, maturity. Hypothetically, as a human infant grows into child, teenager, young adult, mature adult, elder, you would think that his/her mind becomes more realistic, and in so doing, becomes stronger, healthier, wiser. In other worlds, the bubble-reality, the solipsism of an infant, must be temporary.

As an infant cries and wails for breast milk, this equation must change as the infant reaches childhood. Eventually the child must wipe herself, dress herself, pay her own bills, live her own life, make her own choices, etc. Instead, Modern Civilization has interrupted this process. Liberalism and hedonism openly advocate to the masses. No, don't wipe your own ass, don't dress yourself, don't make your own choices. Instead, others must do it for each other. Modern egos must remain infantile while the State (or Church) replace the parent, and maintain a permanent type of parent-child relationship.

In this way, biological parents are quickly replaced by the State (western democracy) or Church (judæo-christian secularism, aka humanitarian liberalism).

Infants are pressured to remain in their original 'subjective' state of mind, forever. Permanently immature, spiritually crippled, mentally ill.

The female specie specializes in Quantity, not Quality. Quite frankly, a woman does not need to be of "high quality" to pass through life. She has automatic, intrinsic (sexual) value, just from being born. Also, feminine looks (beauty) is another passive trait. So females require very little upkeep in life. Females comprise the interior (home) environment of humanity. Thus females enjoy privilege, hedonism, and decadence, taking and receiving gifts from beta-males, in exchange for sex and children. Females are the consumer half of humanity.

The male specie specializes in Quality, not Quantity. Males are "human doings", not human beings. While males are born with zero intrinsic value in life, males have a greater potential, thus rising to higher and higher degrees (of quality). While a female remains rather average in value, throughout her entire life, a rare male or two will surpass the value of average females, or even further up, higher. This lends to the notion of male "Excellence". Females are never "Excellent", but only, average and mundane.

An artist who creates art with the intent of finding fame and fortune will reveal this intent in his every creation; the philosopher who comes to wisdom with the intent of using it to impress and to change the world, to his liking, will expose this intend in his every thought.
Though he thinks he is engaging world directly, he is circumventing it and approaching world through the spectrum of his ambitions.
Art and thinking on this level will reflect the depth of the mind involved.
The outcome will be as shallow or deep, as clear or vague, as the individual using this vehicle to deal with personal issues.

Just another reminder why gender, and race, are never "equal". Nor should they be.

The concept of self-preservation is misleading.
There is no self to be preserved, because self is an unending, incomplete process towards it, or, more precisely, it is a movement contrary to disordering.
the only thing being "preserved" is whatever level of harmony has been established between the patterns participating in the congruence of patterns we call organism, life.
Resistance to fragmentation, flux, is itself a movement, even when there is no increase in order.

Furthermore, self-preservation, understood as a movement away, towards order, is always doomed to fail - the level of failure determining the difference between destruction/death, the fragmentation, disharmony of the patterns that participate in congruity, and growth/adaptation where the damage done by the attrition of (inter)activity (Flux) is compensated for, or corrected, always slightly changed in relation to what it was before.

All this makes sense when talking about self-organizing congruities, and not patterns which lack this self-organizing potential.
Outside living organism all there is are patterns harmonizing/disharmonizing, conflicting, coinciding in the only way each pattern can with other patterns, because pattern IS the essence of what man categorizes as elements, particles, actions, behaviors.

The usage of the word "self" only applies to a self-organizing, congruence of patterns, which is moving towards some projected idea(l) it conceptualizes as "self" or "objective, or, in lower life-forms it is simply (re)active to the (inter)activity, producing increasing fragmentation and chaos, we call Flux.
It through the process of (re)acting that, if successful, accumulates excess energies to direct towards growth or replication or activity, and because the Flux is ceaseless activity is the essence of existence.
"Self", in this case, is a word given to an idea(l) aware of self - self-conscious, as a projected desirable objective.
It has no meaning in relation to patterns acting in what is the essence of each particular pattern, with no sense and no motive and no particular direction, flowing towards the path-of-least-resistance.

The infantile female mind attempting to escape through color and sound, a person who convinces herself that her fickle whimsical ways remain lovable and endearing, only to realize it annoys and brings a great rejecting dislike from a man she's often admires..

The system is always trying to reason with man in the same way a grey alien would reason with a human in "popular fiction". We can easily destroy you, we don't want to but we can, so you should try to see eye to eye with us. Only the system is focused on the human's energy to integrate as many of them into the conforming processes as much as they can. In the beginning, the "system" needed man more than man needed the system, now man needs the system in every literal sense of the word due to disarming the man by stunting the development by removing them from the natural environment.

Since the system maintains the overall power they don't really care much about the small minority of man who refuses to integrate, so they can afford to use passive -aggressive, persuasive techniques to cast the illusion of choice whilst maintaining a subtle threat to cutting man off completely, thus abandoning him into the unknown without the necessary abilities to survive.

An example of this would be the benefit/welfare system, with the benefit calculation system in the "you would be better off" positioning towards man, meaning if you were to work then you would be making more money than you would be getting on welfare. So the system is clearly aware that there are people who just refuse to integrate at the same time they do not want to risk sending too many people into the unknown lest they return in groups or cause too much havoc, so in order to combat this they use persuasive techniques for integration by appealing to monetary incentives, which generally work since man is birthed in capitalism and conditioned to be apart of the system, basically creating the system within, for the system to be expressed externally by man themselves.

The choice is only a real choice for those who have developed the means to survive outside of the integration with the understanding with what is actually going on. Most people do not have the means to survive since they are targeted at childhood, so they have no other choice to conform or manipulate the system from within, successful manipulation will not lead too much since the system demands you pay your dues. At the most, you will reside on the periphery without access to society, where you will have to lie to gain or break the law by engaging in crime.  Another form of "successful manipulation" is starting your own business, but this an encouraged route by the system since you are taxed etc.

The most fundamental division of existence is between Life (simple cellular biology) and Non-life (matter).

The division between Life and Non-life underlays the distinction of "Nature". Because nature includes both. Thus only certain extensions of life (Evolved forms, of cognition, specifically "Human") can become considered as "Artifice". All artifices can only be extensions of nature, to such a degree that their connections to the past (Nature) are more "forgotten" than they are cut-loose. Because it is essentially impossible to cut-loose from nature, completely. There are no "clean breaks".

There are only gaps in memory. Just because your umbilical cord was cut, early on, doesn't mean it wasn't there. The present (and therefore future) is always connected to the past, whether you know it or not, remember it or not.

This is perhaps the biggest distinction between subjectivity (solipsistic forgetfulness, or willful ignorance and denial of past) and objectivity (forced remembrance). With objectivity, any mind, any individual, eventually will be forced to look at "all things", all existence, and "remember it all".

There's a difference between discovery of the universe (looking outward, into the unknown) versus re-discovery (of what is already known, already inherent, but has been forgotten or willfully denied for so long).

Solipsism represent the "bubble-world" of an infant, child, or teenager that has not been popped yet. Like a virgin, s/he needs to be pierced and penetrated. The bubble-world must pop, in order for further development and maturity to take place. Individuals cannot stay virgin forever, or if they do, or choose to try, then this is misguided. Because, consider virginity for a moment. A young girl grows and develops. She is ready for sex. What does Nature and biology dictate? What do hormones do, what are their effects? Sex and reproduction is the natural "progression" of life. Without rupturing a virgin's hymen, to cut her and bleed, she would not reproduce. She would be a genetic dead-end.

For males, "Virginity" is a state of mind, not a state of the body as it is for females. A male's virginity is the popping of his solipsism, of his bubble-world. And this can come from two sources, of reality, or of social interaction with dominant males. In other words, a male's (mental) virginity will either be popped by "the real world", and maybe violently, maybe causing death. Or, perhaps, a male can avoid learning the lessons the "hard way", and instead listen to his peers, his fraternity, his fatherhood, his paternity.

It is through the second route, that "Education" can transpire, for either young females or males. Without philosophy, bubble-worlds will remain intact, bursting violently and dangerously, within the safety nets of society and state, which only exist to reinforce and house these bubbles.

Economists often talk about "bubbles" in the markets. But there are spiritual and cultural "bubbles" which can grow and pop as well. The west, in various areas, are suffering from their own "cultural inflation" bubbles. Terrorism and the wars between western secularism and eastern islam, is just one dominant example, too obvious to explain in detail.

K-type Species are Predatory, pack-oriented (family & individuals), and carnivorous.
R-type Species are Prey, herd-oriented (state & church, popularity & democracy), and herbivores.

Omnivores have the ability to "mix" between these two preeminent types. Almost all pathological differences between animals, whether individuals or groups, can be categorized through this paradigm. The difference is as simple as "Nurturing". Feeding an infant meat after teething, versus feeding an infant raw vegetables only. Depend on the genetic structure of the organism, there are degrees to which Nurturing an herbivore to "become" a carnivore, or a carnivore to become a herbivore, can be accomplished. Those with "Superior" genes have more range, and thus, can be pushed to further extremes one-way or the other.

In other words, "Superior" genetics represent the ability to adapt, to a new climate, to a new environment, and within the context of this main point...

The ability to adapt to a new diet. To a new consumption of protein schema. Carnivores have a more "direct" relationship with proteins, and therefore DNA/RNA. Fats and Soluble oils make the protein transfer between Predator and Prey easier, more nutritional. This is how apex predators arise, and co-dependency between Predator and Prey occurs, over time.

For example, the population of a pack of lions has a parallel relationship with a herd of gazelles, its prey. As the gazelle population climbs from 100 to 1000, a group of lions can range from 1 to a dozen.

The relationship between humanity (Prey) and an overlord (Predator) is Monarchical. Noble (Predator) to Ignoble and Commoner (Prey). Obviously, cannibalism is not directly inferred, but rather, the type of social relationship is symbolic. The commoner, the foot-soldier, the peasant, is expected to give his/her life for her Lord, at any moment.

Thus the K/R sexual selection dynamic is, and always has been, at work within Human populations.



One more, separate observation.

The K-type human (Lord), or any predatory specie, has the cognitive ability to "enter" into the mind of its prey, while the inverse is not true. The R-type human (Slave) cannot "project" or imagine herself "inside" the head of her Lord. The predator cannot truly "empathize" with its Superior. This is the difference between Cognitive Superiority and Inferiority. Whereas, among Predators only, there is a constant challenge to "get into each other's head", a type of mental/intellectual/spiritual/cultural warfare.

This is another re-interpretation of the "war unlike any-other". A war fought among K-types, is not the same as conventional war (among R-types).

Speaking only when we have something of value to add to a conversation or subject is a lost art.

We fill our time with language for languages sake, and to hear ourselves talk.  It's a further extension of the feminization of man, the idle chatter to bandy and banter the concept that we care about one another without actually committing to any ideology or philosophy. It's a communication tool of the female to make nice and keep peace without causing conflict or revealing who we are and what we believe.  We talk and talk so that it buries any real sense of where we start and end, in words that are too voluminous to swim through to find the fish. We don't know what's in the water, we drown in the idea of it losing our sense of who we are because what we say is often so shallow and insignificant that it makes us feel important but is really a spec in a sea of verbal and written refuse.

Garbage. We fill our thoughts and minds with the outpouring of insigificant media so that we have something to talk about with others who are equally frivolous with their intentions and words. We become more nothing with each word we utter without thought and intention. We do it so that we seem important, it's an odd sort of narcissistic behavior and is especially common in the common man. The pack whimpers and barks and snarls at each other in constant discordance but still making it's presence known.  All the while, the Alpha stands alone, and his bite is far more important than his bark.  In his graceful powerful silence, he is king.
