When they use the term "relative" they mean "I."
In this way they hope to justify their rebellion, making it seem like it is a noble rejection of an authoritarian "other."

What they conceal is that this "I" means "we," referring to a collective that will impose its own "relativity" upon the world.
They need nature, existence itself, to be personified, otherwise what are they rebelling against?
What they are implying is that their "collective relativity" is better than theirs.
The tensions are erotic.... triggering internal passions.
They need this "other will," with its own subjective perspective, to justify their collective's will's alternative.
They need an ideological enemy to unite them into an ideal cohesive collective.

They must have another, so everything pertaining to humanity must become a social construct, e.g., morals, race, gender, ethnicity, freedom, etc., otherwise who is this "other" if not the world itself - nature, cosmos, existence?
If all is a social construct then there is no right and no wrong, there are only competing perspectives, and some are more inclusive than others.
Inclusivity serves another purpose, as well, it increases the collective's numbers, helping absorb the negative consequences of their deranged perspectives.
This impersonal otherness of natural order, of a cosmos, must be given an intentional identity, a persona - if not god, then who?
Who better than those reporting on it? Those exposing them to this factor their collectivized authority cannot evade.
They must have someone to blame when their "perspectives" inevitably fail to produce the expected results.
They must have someone to accuse when their collective authority can no longer absorb the negative consequences of their "perspectives."


We see this in Abrahamism.
When their prophesies fail, or they suffer some severe setback, it is always because their God is angry with them for not interpreting his words correctly, or for not following his rules precisely.
The core principles of their beliefs are never doubted.
The dogma has developed its own set of excuses for all the paradoxes it produces.
