This is where people like Adam Green go astray. They assume that what is spoken is what is done. The foundation of diplomacy is pretence. Smiles and hugs do not mean a thing.
Is Russia a multiethnic, multicultural emerging power? Yes.....like China, India, and the US. The difference being how they manage this multiethnic multiculturalism we are entering the age of the Super-State.... Nation- states are becoming obsolete. This means that unity between disparate groups is necessary for their survival.
How this is accomplished is how conflicts arise. The US has adopted, since its inception, a melting pot method - essentially destroying biological (nature based) diversity, and replacing it with superficial diversity (market based, societal) - diversity in appearance only. The other emerging Superstates wish to practice different multiethnic/multicultural social models, preserving actual diversity by imposing stricter central management by the dominant ethnicity. This is another factor that confuses these "Americanized" alt-right types.
They become American apologists, vehemently defending America's privileged position in history. They want to absolve themselves form the responsibility of complicity through decades of complacence. There is no American traditionalism that can help them relate to those peoples born and raised within ancient traditions, where race/ethnicity is distinct and central. They want their melting pot, without the Woke agenda. Some, unlike Adam Green, want their Abrahamism without Jewish supremacy.
