| Sam comes up with different roles/characters and acts them in front of the camera, so I see these old clips as him practicing playing a role. I think a lot of them are improv. Sam is talented coming up with jokes live so he doesn't always need a script to be funny.
The difference here is that Sam often makes a joke of himself (when he is in character) and he doesn't need to be all over the place to be funny, the humour is consistent and on topic, not constant references. It's not like this current "millenial" (or zoomer) humour where everything flashes on the screen fast and is stuffed with loud noises, repeats and jokes that you couldn't make in real life situations, it's purely internet humour. |

| Let's say someone comes along and bitchslaps her(?) into quiet submission. You probably would end up with a lot of legal issues or worse. Let's say she would start swinging and hitting people - I doubt there would be any serious repercussions for her.
It would probably not even be a majority who would object to some restrained acts of violence in such cases, still the law is compromised and is not reflecting a healthy society.
So it makes people into passive, metaphorically bitchslapped, cellphone cameramen, whenever something like this happens. At least they are not just standing there but doing something, like holding up a phone and filming it. |

| When the clerk said "Excuse me madam" her tone of voice changed instantly, but she still couldn't help herself shouting at others, at first it seemed she could start playing the victim, but she was even too unstable to make any sense. People lie so you need solid evidence, and sometimes even the evidence is not enough for repercussions.
In this case when the person makes absolutely no sense you can't make her calm down so what else is there to do, I don't think in this case slapping the crazy person helps the situation. But if the person had some sense in them it might work. |

| If she is a crazy crazy person then it will probably not help but if she did change her tone of voice as the "authority figure" arrived at the scene then she is probably not crazy crazy but knows she can usually get away with her psycho-routine. If you have no shame then why not act out this fantasy of angry righteous moral preacher. |
