When zombies are among their own they fall into a catatonic state of readiness - triggered by sound or smell.

Follow up... Paganism or any culture based on natural order, does not need to proselytize nor convince. Why? Because whoever contradicts natural order - blasphemes against the gods representing it - will suffer the consequences, if and only if, no ethical rule does not force others to absorb the negative repercussions - as Abrahamism and Marxism do. Notice that all these nihilistic dogmas and ideologies must proselytize or become global - tolerating no alternatives - and they all impose some kind of collectivism: sharing of benefits and costs. In this way the delusion of parity is cultivated, leading to the current crisis of identity and Wokism. Wokism (postmodernism) - via Americanism - is linked to Abrahamism. One of its fundamental principles is the sharing of risks and rewards and, primarily, costs. They insist that no matter who or what, society ought to - moral imperative - absorb some, if not all of the negative consequences, of genetic inequalities. It is "just and fair" that those born weak ought to be helped by those born strong; those born simple ought to be helped by those born smart. See their positions on affirmative action, and abortions...
This all lead to catastrophe, of course, but try to convince one of them. All they see are the immediate rewards and humanitarian benefits...not the long-term consequences, such as dumbing down, demographics, apathy etc.

The current "surrogate patriarch" is creating too many uninvested components in America that the status quo is unsustainable.

Knowing is the representation of what is entirely incomprehensible, yet knowable in that it can be reduced to a few data patterns. Understanding is recognizing the underlying patterns that connect this known data - we also call it meaning. Meaning are the connections, the matrices of relationships, we've uncovered as part of our understanding.
There is no 'here' and 'now' - if we take the concepts literally - but 'here' and 'now' refers to a snippet, a portion of the dynamic process of existence.
She's offering a stoic justification for becoming indifferent - ataraxia. Buddhist self-annihilation.
But self is not a 'thing' it is a process participating in the process of existence. Like 'here' and 'now' self is not a static thing....it is a dynamic interactive unity, or congruency of energy patterns that has become alive - willful, intentional, and self-aware, and it cares about preserving this state for as long as possible.

Yes, it requires minimal internal control. Common external threat makes social species seek comfort in groups. A group defined by its shared enemies, anxieties, fears is a cohesive group. Herd instincts.

Kabbalism, as with everything Jewish, is a copy and corruption of something previous, in this case Gnosticism. They represent psyche, or how an organism organizes itself in relation to existence. An ordering relating to a disordering cosmos - experienced as linear time.
The polarities of dualism - binaries - are of mind and body - determined past and yet to be determined future. The third is this fluctuating point - dynamic interactive present/presence - a manifestation of past determining the future. I've localized it in the human mind/body dualism as the nervous system, where body/physical/tangible/determined past/nature merges with mind/psychic/intangible/yet to be future. It is this present that is ongoing and can only be experienced after-thefact, as determined past, and yet an organism participates with its self-organizin in what is being determined, to the degree determined by tis power. This is where I place will and its freedom/power.
Since consciousness lags behind events, and consciously experiences existence after-the-fact, life adapts, learns, by adjusting tis unconscious responses to interactive flux - so will-power is essential to paideia, training, elanring. Paideia in Greek meaning to torture to agitate, to make someone suffer. Here we have the Hellenic definition of asceticism....as a means not an end, as it is in nihilistic dogmas like Abrahamism and Buddhism - to impose upon oneself stress, suffering, so as to become habituated with it; suffering due to the mind imposing an alternate unconscious reaction to evolved, rpe-existing innate impulses. Civilize man is a man who has cultivated alternate reactions to stimuli, until they've become his second-nature.
Language, including mathematics, is a representation of the nervous system's method of synthesizing body/mind. Meditation can tap into these a priori methods of merging body/mind, or how the organism converts dynamic, interactive existence to static forms it can use and store in memory. This is its logic, the underlying linguistic pattern, semiotic, mathematical.
Given that this is all innate, psychological, subconscious, men are compelled to repeat these patterns culturally - since memes are extensions of genes. Self-knowledge and appreciation determining the quality of the meme, i.e., dogma, ideology, and the consequent culture it develops. Themes are repeated across all cultures representing what Jung called 'collective unconscious,' tapping into memories that go back to primal ages....since DNA are memories reduced to a biological formula, guiding the body to build itself, to recreate itself, or its inherited past, i.e., nature.
Given that an organism is of order, needs order, is attracted to order, the mind is a organ that recognizes and evaluates order, and if order is absent it creates it. So, the mind can create patterns where none are present.
This makes mind susceptible to manipulation, using this need for order. Self-fulfilling prophesies are an example of how minds can be manipulated to collectively, and subconsciously, will certain events. These collective minds need to reaffirm their superstitious prophesies because it is comforting to believe that all life, all suffering, has a purpose.
**************** Christians and Muslims would be shocked to discover that they worship Abraxas, and that their spiritual beliefs are an offshoot of Gnosticism. They deny it, when I bring it up. They use differences to claim a detachment form their origins, ironically they use the slightest similarity to claim human oneness, denying racial and sexual differences. In one case differences suffice to claim a different lineage, and in the other differences are too small and irrelevant to claim different lineages.
