Language - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Language Language - Page 3 EmptyFri Apr 27, 2018 11:45 am

Communication is not an exclusively human ability.
What precedes language (logos) are a variety of data sharing.
Both animals and plants communicate their reactions, to phenomena, and their memories, or previous interactions with phenomena.
Using atmosphere and light as a medium to deal with time/space distances, they convert these reactions and interactions into a code.
The binary code is the easiest to evolve because it does not require higher cognitive abilities,. nor a brain, as in the case of plant communications.
They are built upon the attraction/repulsion interactivity, expressed in organic context as on-off triggering.

PostSubject: Re: Language Language - Page 3 EmptyFri Apr 27, 2018 12:22 pm

Human language is a method of communication that builds upon the pre-existing plant and animal communication methods, which are adaptations of the attraction/repulsion (inter)action of patterned and non-patterned energies.
There are three levels of data exchange:
The physical (body language – gestures expressions etc.), nervous system (patterned vocalizations), mind (innuendo, metaphors etc.).

When externalized, through a different medium (ink/paint, marble/stone, electromagnetism/light etc.) an additional layer of meaning can be added on-top of the previous one – a pattern over or underlying the patterns.
This is often referred to as "occult", and is used to imply depth which may or may not be present, or may or may not refer to phenomenon beyond the minds sharing the data, or integrated into the method if interpreting data.
Written language replaced body-language and innuendo using tone, rhythm pitch (sarcasm, mirth, cynicism, sadness etc.) with a layer of code within the code that is supposed to transmit data that adds or subtracts, or contradicts the data it is inserted within.
Reading between the lines’ refers to data that is unintentionally passed through the intentional text – replacing the previous mentioned unintentional and/or automatic physical exchange of information/data.
The choice of words, their placement in the text, the sequence and frequency transmits data the writer may not intend, or may intend to be deciphered by a specific person, or type of persons. We may include specialized language, or language requiring particular and/or specialized knowledge, and or specialized deciphering interpreting of patterns – specialized understanding based on a way of interpreting data and phenomena – world-view.

PostSubject: Re: Language Language - Page 3 EmptyMon May 07, 2018 12:10 pm

A people born for the hunt differ from those born as victims, preferring peace and comfort, stability, after centuries of environmental conditioning.
They differ in their use of language.
Hunters use words to gauge distances, define and determine friend from foe, pinpoint the target, chart out an attack, and a defence; a course of action, and a fall-back point to muster.
Words refer to world.
For the warrior words map-out the battleground, and their precision determines their effectiveness in battle.
For the feminine minds words map out their psychological relationships with others – they use them to find their place, to ascend, to gauge intent, to fabricate illusion and to gossip.
Words refer to intuitions, emotions, sensations, group dynamics, and group energies.
The first is direct, clear and masculine.
It's a matter of life and death.
Words have gravitas.
The second is vague, implying, coy, and feminine.
It's a matter of pretenses, of judging and projecting intent, and adjusting self to it, promising, without wanting to give more than necessary; flirting, negotiating, with flattery, superstition, innuendos, playfulness using obscurity to speak without saying anything clearly, or anything at all; pretty words, funny punch-lines, charming narrations, mind-twisting, triggering, in others, feelings, images, libidinal energies – seducing the hidden beast with occult insinuations.
Philosophy, is the art that best exposes the user's essence, in the way he uses language.
As femininity ascends in dominance philosophy acquires a feminine energy, expressed in its use of words.
As it declines, and more masculine spirits are needed to deal with worldly conditions, philosophy changes accordingly and this is expressed in words.
Safety, peace, produces atrophy, and a more relaxed use of language. Language becomes erotic, orgiastic in intent. Vagueness is the realm of eroticism – low lighting, to hide imperfections, to lose sight of where one body merges with another – words of passions exchanges, breathlessly, grunts, slurs, they become background noise along with the sounds of bodies slapping, pushing, pulling, grasping and inhaling.
There’s no need for clarity here…it would break the spell.
Eroticism requires mists and shadows.

Triangulating Judgment
How is a disagreement on the interpretation of text resolved?
Do the participants 'agree to disagree'?
Do they agree that all interpretations are equally valid because it's all subjective, after all?
Do they each live in their own understanding of the text – in their own private world?

If only it could be so easy, and forgiving.
How a disagreement on text is resolved is by comparing it to the shared world both interpreters inhabit.
How many references does each interpretation have to the experienced?
A simple triangulation will do. Interpreter, text, world – triad corresponding to mind/thought, nervous system/semiotics, body/physical.
Mental abstraction is externalized, by a mind, as text... but the triangulation can occur by using one's own abstractions, the definition of the word/symbol, and, again, the standard is the experienced world.
The post-modern absurdity of subjectivity is shattered.
There is no ‘agreement to disagree’ and the ‘all is subjective’ cop-out.
There are two, or more theories, perspectives, opinions, about the world, or about someone else's opinion of the world.
One is superior, the others are inferior.
This is classic evolution, survival of the fittest.
If the disagreement remains theoretical, philosophical, the resolution is more difficult, because it demands minds that have integrity, and courage.
But where no disagreement remains intact, is when the theory is applied; when the thought, theory, is returned to the external in the form of actions, resulting in consequences.
A theory can be triangulated using world as the standard, but this triangulation becomes more obvious when actor/perspective/world tests the actor and the perspective against the world.
Consequences are costs/benefits, in relation to the projected objective – the expected. A triangulation, once more = cost/benefit/objective.
If the actor fails to remain honest and has no intellectual integrity, he will fail to evaluate the consequences accurately, repeating the same errors.
If he evaluates as objectively as possible, beginning with his own culpability, he can make slight modifications to his perspective, and apply again; adjust and apply again, until his theory begins to harmonize with world – dynamic interactivity.
But he must do so quickly because the world is in flux, so the circumstances are constantly changing. Time being the measurement of change.
His methodology will be effective only if he is efficient. His mind quick, honest, courageous, and relentless.
Evaluating ‘self’ and world, as objectively as possible, will result in an accurate judgment of the relationship of ‘self in world’.
Triangulation is between self, world, and objective – past/present/future.

Language - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Language Language - Page 3 EmptyTue May 08, 2018 7:37 am

Language differentiates between the mundane world of experiences, the physical, phenomenal, and the spiritual world of incorporeal, abstractions and noumena, calling the second 'divine' and placing there everything man can think but not prove, nor define and justify.
Abrahamism is the noumenon usurping, ‘in theory’, the phenomenal, and, as such, it is Nihilistic.
It negates the experienced world using symbols/words, shaped into metaphors.
Nihilism is the negation of the experiences world by the noetic esoteric abstractions existing as ideas in the human mind, and nowhere else.
This is the meaning of 'occult'. Theories, ideas, accessible by a mind, via another mind.
The very definition of conspiracy and codependency.
The participants become entrapped in a cult, sharing concepts, defined by specialized words that cannot be perceived but only shared using language, in secret rituals, designed to trigger psychosomatic effects.
A noetic tribe, that has, in theory, transcended physical identifiers; the flesh and bone of organic life.
Therein lies the concept of 'eternal life' or 'life after death', the individual's memory lives on in tribal lore. He is brought to the collective mind, where he can be resurrected at will, as symbol – he can be named.
This division is the product of a corporeal division, of mind from body, and begins and ends along the nervous system, where energies merge with flesh and blood.
The nervous system gives them form, converts them to art, and externalizes them using a medium.
This is where ambiguity can be translated into surrealism, linguistic innuendos, symbolism, with no reference.
This is where the noetic merges with the phenomenal in a cloud of metaphorical insinuations that can be translated subjectively, into anything and everything that offers gratification; that satisfies a need and/or a desire.
The difference of need from desire, has been clarified as being one of direction.
Need is the sensation of the body's lack, caused by temporal attrition.
Desire is a by-product of the first, and is the sensation of accumulated excess that has to be expunged, or directed towards growth, reproduction and art.
Art is the product of excess.
Energies accumulate and stored, when organic needs are satisfied, are stored as reserves for the fight/flight mechanism. These energies then become libidinal, in more sophisticated organisms. They become sexual desire, the drive to copulate.
Growth is externalized in a fetus.
These energies become the foundation of the artistic impulse.
To create rather than procreate. To externalize, via a medium as other, thoughts rather than flesh and blood.
Gene to Meme.
Language is the mind spermatozoa.
Sentences are its noetic DNA. Genes expressed through semiotics.

In the mind, freed from natural order, anything is possible.
Concepts like 'absolute', 'perfect', 'whole', and ‘one’ can become literal:
visualized, given an image, an icon/idol.
In the mind the will is supreme authority. It can create and destroy.
In the mind words lose meaning and are given a new one.
In the mind symbols can be manipulated and used to effect body.
In the mind there are no limits, other than the individual's imagination.
In the mind the symbol/word comes first.
It is what Divine means, in the nihilistic sense of the word – inverted.
What is the noumenon?
A representation of a phenomenon.
Nihilism is its inversion.
Phenomenon is the representation of the noumenon. The thought is the 'real' and the real is an illusion – its shadow.
Mythos no longer metaphorically describes existence, through logos, but existence literally describes mythos, through logos.
Logos – the word – becomes the link between mind/body where the inversion takes place.
Logos is the nervous system's expression.
Art no longer imitates life, but life imitates art.
Words no longer refer to world, but world refers to words.
This is the dis-ease the west is infected by.

PostSubject: Re: Language Language - Page 3 EmptyTue May 15, 2018 10:05 am

Every claim, every perspective, every translation and interpretation of text, every opinion, judgment, assertion, declaration, can and should be validated by experience.
How does a rational man validate any and every judgment?
Triangulation.
He places the judgment, beside his own, and then compares both to an empirically accessible, sensually perceived world.
It does so many times - at least three - to compensate for any sensual corruption.

It then compares its own finding with those of others, again triangulating.
His cost/benefit analysis, juxtaposed with another's cost/benefit/analysis compared to a third's or the objective, the ideal itself.

First thing to evaluate is the objective, the ideal itself.
Is it realistic? Is it attainable, or a fantasy?
Is my own appreciation of it accurate, or corrupted by overestimation/underestimation?
Then one evaluates self in relation to the objective, the ideal.
How attainable is this objective for me? What are my weaknesses and strengths in relation to it attainment?
How can I compensate, if I can, to increase the odds of attaining my objective, of living up to the ideal?

Every perspective spoken, or written can be evaluated against world.
It does not matter where it was written, how long ago, or by who....all text, and all spoken language can be tested against reality.
It does not matter how it is understood, how it is translated, by others....the world, not other minds, is the final standard.
Every text ever written, every claim ever spoken, can be tested against reality, by each and every one of us.

*********************
Self is a triad = body/nervous system/mind, corresponding to past/present/future.
Past is nature.
Present is nurture.
Future is ideal, objective, motive.

Body = organ hierarchy, producing personality. Past made present, perceived as appearance - phenomenon.
Past establishing potentials.

Nervous System = Body interacting with world. Nurturing. Nervous energy, activity/behaviour, making itself apparent to other conscious minds. It is presence manifest.
Potential cultivated or atrophied.

Mind = precedent, probability projecting possibilities.
Orientation by projecting past, through presence, as possible future - objective.
Idea/ideal, theory used as orientation for the will's focus. Mind is will focusing on objective.

*********************
Objective is the projected, used for orientation and to focus the will, in a world in flux.

How can it be evaluated?
By comparing the mental abstraction with the phenomenon, if it exists outside the mind.
If it does not then the objective is theoretical - idealistic.
Possible but not necessarily probable.

One uses one's own experiences or those of others - knowledge - to triangulate and gain understanding.
In the knowledge/experience data patterns are discovered. These are the mapping of the world, transferred internally, - translated as abstraction, mental map.
Meaning refers to this relationship between phenomena, as these are evaluated by the mind.
The mental map may or may not refer to an external geography of phenomena. If it does not, it is theoretical, idealistic, and/or representational, metaphorical, artistic.

Individual compares its evaluation, appreciation, of the objective, with those of another, and then, if possible, with its attainment.
Here the 'be careful what you wish for' applies.
How we imagine the objective differs from it when and if we attain it.
Cost/Benefits tend to inflate positively, so as to motivate....the benefits exaggerated and the costs minimized.

Objectively judging the objective by using those who have attained it, without being affected by thir claims, is a useful strategy that circumvents your own application, and the possible risks.
Usually the one attaining an objective will exaggerate the benefits to justify his costs. Depending no how large the costs were, in time and resources, the lie will be inflated.

Three levels of communication:
Direct-Intentional - dictionary references, built over centuries into a shared convention of communication.
Subconscious-Unintentional - physical gestures, tone, rhythms of speech.
Indirect-Intentional - innuendos, metaphors, insinuations, speculation, judgments, approximations.

Mind/Body funnel data through nervous system, where they merge/synthesize.
The intentional and the unintentional combine into a song & dance - performance.
The individual may unintentionally be saying more than he desires, or he may unintentionally contradict his intention.
The three can either combine and accentuate one another (harmony), or they may contradict one another (disharmony).

Mind draws from external (exoteric) sources to construct its abstractions - simplifying/generalizing them by reducing their possibilities (space/time).
Body draws from internal (esoteric) sources and uses the mind's abstractions to represent them.

Depending on the psychology of the actor/communicator one form will dominate the others in his expression.
Depending the psychology of the observer/listener one form will be the focus dominating the others in translation.
Body is honest and direct.
It hides nothing.
Mind can be dishonest and indirect; it covers the body to hide its potential contradictions of what it lies or tries to hide.
Nervous system is where this takes place.

Indo-European hints at a common ancestry.
Language can be transmitted from mind to mind. giving the impression of a common heritage.
There's also the aspect of parasitism. For example, Yidish is a linguistic form adjusting a Afro-Asiatic language to an Indo-European one - Germanic.
This is a form of parasitism....similar to inter-breeding with a host to appear similar when, in fact, you have no interest in the survival of the host, but have adopted it as a form of camouflage,a way of tricking the host's autoimmune defensive processes.
A kind of imitation where the organism adopts the appearance of another to appear to be something it is not.
it viruses this becomes a a way of fooling the host's autoimmune system.\

Self-deception is also a contributor.
The deceiver actually believes it is a part of the host it infects and contradicts with its activity.
Self-Deception accentuates the pretence. For example, a liar who actually believes his leis are true will be more convincing than one who knows they are lies.

The prime goal here is survival at all costs....not awareness. if deception and self-deception promotes survival then it is establishes...even if it is based on duplicity.

Hermeneutics, from the Greek [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], sometimes used by Desperate Degenerate cowards and hypocrites to imply a pseudo-intellectual superiority.
In Greek it's an every-day word that simply means "interpret" or an "interpretation".
Latin is used to produce the same effect....or any foreign language - especially among Americans, where the mere knowledge of a second or third language makes you "intelligent".

Modern Hermeneutics, are the product of centuries of accumulated corruptions - just as the human genetic code contains the accumulated experiences of centuries of natural and/or social selection - most of it remaining inert, until triggered by an external stimulation. What is called "latent".
This is another factor contributing to the delusion that there is no free-will, as if some 'external agency" were at work behind every actions or any decision we male.

The KNOW THYSELF Delphic command, becomes clear.
To know yourself is a journey of discovery....sometimes of what the individual does not know nor understand. something, for its ego, which seems completely alien.

The need to accuse something or someone else for your actions, is a human need to find a parent, or a proxy to hide behind; a desire to remain an "innocent" helpless dependent child, forever - Utopia. In many forms of Utopianism the role of parent is taken by God or, replaced by State.
This is not only an impulse found mostly among females and children, but also among retarded males, who have yet to develop into maturity, and that do not wish to.
We see it becoming a spiritual dogma in Judaism and its offshoots of Christianity and Judaism, finding ready and willing converts among all tribes....because this is a human need to remain a child.
this makes it infectious, across cultural and temporal boundaries.
Abrahamism and Marxism are viral because of it.

Vervaeke approach is very hippie New Age but it is precise, most often than not.
If he were not so he probably would not be tolerated on youtube.
This is clear when he comments on races.

*Flow = being in "the zone" is a focus on need/desire, excluding all else.

*Feedback is part of many supernatural experiences and superstitious beliefs.
"Woman's intuition" is a product of a woman's ability to disregard consciousness and give in to her subconsciousness.
Males need to understand, women simply need to feel it, and do not understand how or why.

*The relationship of correlation and causation does not mean there is no relationship. If something appears to be different there is no dissociation between how it appears and how it is - the appearance exposes the causality. using the absurd to discredit this is part of post-modern methodology.
Patterns expose causality. Unless some other wilful agency intentionally intervenes upon the apparent, the relationship stands intact, otherwise there would be no correlation between the appearance of clouds as what causes rain.
The correlation between a flash of lightning and an ensuing rumble of thunder is not accidental. Correlation reveals causation.
The correlation of physical attributes - appearance, is what reveals the causation of race.
Otherwise patterns are not manifestation of past, made presence, and so no insights are ever possible.

*"Metaphor is itself a metaphor" - indeed. Language is almost entirely comprised of metaphors,a s it uses symbols, words, to represent something else, to transfer the phenomenon into a noetic form. The word "horse' is not literally a horse, and so another word in a different language can also refer to the same phenomenon.
The incomprehensibility of existence, its counter-intuitiveness, cannot become intuitive without metaphor - without art.
But this is precisely why Plato distrusted art and artists...because thy could manipulate inferior minds with metaphors, making them believe in the literalistic meaning of the metaphors, confusing representation for represented and then inserting metaphors with no represented, remaining entirely representational, seeking for a represented. This can be exploited...as it presently is.
Hollywood was used as a weapon to capitulate the world to U.S. dominance. It succeeded, somewhat, but not entirely. it's failure is why it is presently in crisis.
That and the gradual decline of the masters it served. All empire decline is accompanied with in-fighting, like Republicans and Democrats are presently doing.
How does the saying go?

Adapt this to the debate over free-will.
'Positive outcomes, and pride, have many fathers; failure, and shame, is always an orphan.'
All want to accept pride in a good outcome, but when shame is involved then responsibility for its production is denied. Then it's always someone else's fault.

*Systemic collapse has occurred before.
Bronze Age collapse, is about a socio-economic system that suddenly vanished.
What follows is a Dark Age...as the one we are entering now.
This does not mean a 'end of times', or a telos.....but an end to a memetic world-view, and of its principles, values, truths, mythologies, language.
A shift in conciousness. Not an end, at all, but a change.

*Bronze Age collapsing is a harbinger to an Industrial Age collapse, giving way to the Information Age.

*The externalization of thoughts is what confuses the average mind. It is a form of "magic" to its impoverished mind.
The semiotic externalization of a noumenon that now becomes another phenomenon - confusion begins here.
The other danger of artistry.
When abstractions could be externalized -a s art, as technologies - then the line between represented and representation became blurred.

*The externalization of abstractions did not only expose self-deception but it also made it more effective - the mind could now accuse another of its own self-deception; it projected the cause externally when the source was in itself.

Language - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Language Language - Page 3 EmptyThu Oct 03, 2019 3:50 pm

A fundamental fact about language.
It to a meme what the genome is to a gene.
I refer to the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] relationship and how both are reactions to the real, with varying degrees of success.

The four digit sequences of the genome - GCAT manifest in a binary method of becoming aware of reality - the either/or, or 1/0, or dualism.
The combinations are inconceivable but not infinite.
Similar to the Mandelbrot set.
From a simple iterating algorithm
a vastness of complex patterns emerges.

Already simplification/generalization is applied.
From the multitude of possible sequences - referring to relationships of interactivity - only four are part of the human genome, and of the four interactions two participate in the development of awareness - a binary duo, good/bad, or 1/0.
The neurological simplification of on/off producing binary thinking.
This binary simplification/generalization has to develop methods of perceiving degrees or fractions or fluctuating space/time....and this method is called art. Language is a representational art-form.
Consciousness is enclosed in this subjectivity. The multiplicity of fluidity must be simplified/generalized down to this binary code.
Ergo Interactions & Interpretations.
Meaning subjectivity refers to the interpretation of an objectively real world, which is more complex than black/white binary thinking.
This is where simpletons become stuck - simpletons and cowards. Sometimes intentionally bogged down....because they intuitively perceive where it is all going and like women they come up with excuses or pretences, feigning ignorance, because they intuitively know where this is going will shatter their comfort zone, of either/or simplicity - good/evil Abrahamism...one/nil literal thinking called Nihilism.
nihilism, I repeat is a defensive strategy for a mind awakening to itself - becoming self-aware.
Know Thyself is anathema to this type. They imagine it as a positive process where awareness will always be positive - so truth is always empowering, good, benevolent, divine....never deadly. So, for such cowards and simpletons anything hinting at negativity is automatically dismissed as 'wrong'.
The only negative they can ever accept are those that can be changed or overcome.
Their criterion is hedonism - pleasure. A simple organic method....for those who believe they are "advanced' or advancing - enlightened....becoming sophisticated, more human less beastly.
Hedonism the pain/pleasure method, is primal. They revert to a primal state to flee from their own awareness - I call them manimals.
They equate truth with what feels good - just as a simple animal would....not needing any more insight than this simple sensual awareness.
Pleasure = good <-> good = right.
Pain = bad <-> bad = wrong.
So hedonism is a movement towards 'truth' in their demented mind...and all truth offers an advantage. they cannot conceptualize of a truth that does not do so...or that cannot be overcome or ignored or somehow corrected.

Therefore freedom if it makes them feel bad, does not exist. If it makes them feel good then it exists.
And it does so absolutely...because one cannot have enough of a good thing, right?
It depends on the psychosis.
They build linguistic alternate realities base don this feel-good criterion, attracting imbeciles who cannot do so for themselves; they dismiss all cynically that makes them feel bad - laughter expunging repressed anxiety - easily manipulating language to accommodate any possibility.
Defensiveness guided by the need - pathos - for survival is very creative...and shameless. There is nothing it cannot do or say or believe in, if survival is at stake.
I posted a vid on how [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] is detrimental to survival, and not always positive or empowering.
Truth can be deadly....because life was not meant to endure too much of reality but only enough to help it survive.
I also defined "freedom" as choice, but choice can also be a burden....as this [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]...so too much freedom can bewilder the simple organism evolved only enough awareness to deal with the immediate - the simple good/bad, edible/inedible, friend/foe.

Geography = objective reality
Map = subjective knowledge and understanding

Points on the map - elevation, terrain, distances - refer to the matrices of meaning, which are either more or less accurate.
Meaning means relationship between points on the map.
Meaning is determined by how the map harmonized with the geography - how accurate it approximates it.
The ideal, is the destination. This is what determines how the map is to be used to reach the desired destination.
This is what determines value and the course of action. The destination - ideal - has no intrinsic value - it has value to the traveller who wants to reach it.
So, the destination, the goal, is the determining factor of what is then defines as good or bad, depending on if it is difficult or easy to reach - the quality of the map, is determined by how closely it maps out the geography in reality.
Good/Bad simply indicates if it deters or aids in reaching the desired destination.
The destination's realism is determine by the fact that it corresponds to a geographical are, and is not only on the map.

Objectivity is then a measure of how the map accurately represents the geography - its elevations, terrain and distances.
Nihilism offers an alternate fantasy map, which does not correspond to a geography.
the travelling occurs only in the mind and is entirely of the mind - with no physicality requires.
Since there are no absolutes, nihilism is also not absolute so it measures the degree to which the fantasy map lacks a correspondence to a geography in the world.

>We find another connection between Judaism and Protestantism, in their relationship with the idea of free-will.
no free-will means those who "get into heaven - inherit eternity - have been "chosen", i.e., it has already been determined.
The Abrahamic one-god is replaced with the idea of absolute-order - its secular version.
Fatalism is now part of universal order. Those for who it has been fated to inherit the future - chosen - will inherit it.
Americanism is the synthesis of Judeo-Christian world-views - or Judeo-Protestant/Puritan - explaining the animosity towards Catholicism - see Kennedy assassination and the current attacks on the church - with its pagan iconographic connection.
Catholicism is the corruption of Indo-European Aryanism - called paganism to degrade it - along with Eastern Orthodoxy - the Holy Roman and Byzantium offshoots of the dying Roman Empire. The Orhtodox church is not a viable threat, but Catholicism still is. A constant reminder of a Roman/Hellenic past.

>Perhaps the current American obsession with progress - futurism - can be found in the Anglo-Saxon language - English - and its missing future tense. Things that are not named cannot be conceptualized; they tend to be mystified, or idealized in a secular form.

Language is a key.
It is to the SuperOrganism - meme - what the genome is to the organism - gene.
The four code genome - CGAT - manifests in a binary code of conciousness - 1/0, good/bad, friend/foe, edible/inedible and dualistic ideologies. A subject that requires more "unpacking".
Language exposes a psychological relationship with existence...as it evolves from the interactivity of a people with their environment.
The absence of a future tense in English is paramount in understanding the Anglo-Saxon psychology, or the mindset of all those who have adopted English as their primary linguistic form of thinking and expressing thoughts.
Control language and you control thinking.

Judaism and Puritanism - Americanism - are linked in their rejection of all degrees of free-will, and by their shared determinism - leading to the idea of fatalism, choseness, victimhood, submissiveness, slavishness, dependence on collectively sanctioned authorities, deference towards a collective while claiming individuality, and the idealization/mystification of the future, in the form of progressiveness.
Like I've said before and will continue to repeat....many believe they are over Christianity, and its one-god, that they've overcome and are now "enlightened" when all they've done is "progress" in an adjustment of the same themes to increasing human knowledge and understanding of the world.
The Abrahamic god is not dead....he is being constantly resurrected as idea/ideology - renamed and repackaged; he is reborn and reanimated as spirit, as they call it. As long as one zombie exists carrying the infection the virus never dies.
Its "immortality" is founded on the manipulation and exploitation of mortals via their brains - hosts for a virus that evolves parasites that embrace the virus in a symbiosis.

The Abrahamic mindset - nihilism - is ingrained in the very language we use - conventionally - permeating every aspect of this civilization.
The sciences are seeped in its mythologies and its linguistic confusions.

Michael Jones spoke of the "revolutionary spirit", which we can find in the very name of Protestant.
A rebellion not against universal totalitarianism - the contrary - but a rebellion against all manmade order, which stands in the way of absolute universal order.
What human can match the divine - the idealized incorporeal idea of absolute order?
They sense this as part of what has been determined - producing cynicism.
I believe Nietzsche referred to the age that believed that all is knowable - i.e., all is ordered - as Alexandrian. I may be mistaken - it's been a decade since I last read him.
I do not count myself among the "experts" on everything Nietzschean, nor of wanting to remain an devoted accolade, or an inheritor of his brilliance.
My motives are greater.

I've connected the masculine spirit attempting to impose order, as something that inspires the feminine spirit, but then always fails, leading to its ridicule - the feminine being the purest natural agency, and the masculine being a agency of order.
Emasculation is about dismissing all order originating in man, or contradicting absolute, universal, divine order.
Outsourcing masculinity, implies feminization.

Think of how feeble any honest hypothesis sounds, concerning the emergence and evolution of life, when compared to the certainty of Creationism.
It's self-doubt and integrity is grounds for its dismissal, by cowards and hypocrites.
Ergo, if order is never absolute, when applied pragmatically, then abstract order must be more true - otherwise absolute negation is the only alternative.
How can the order of a real man stand before the ideological abstract order of the god of Abraham or of the abstraction called universe?
Its imperfection - expressed as degrees, fractions - is ground enough to laugh it away.
The emasculated, feminized, spirit needs absolute, unyielding, complete, and total, certainty. Such a female, born and raised to expect a knight in shining armour that will represent all that, quickly turns sour - dismissing all men as being equally weak and feeble and disappointing.
Nothing real, nothing tangible, can ever gratify a mind that has become obsessed with an idea/ideal. Everything will fail to match the expected.
It needs absolutes....and so the real can only be a source of disappointment and disillusionment.
See how this psychosis produces cynicism?

Arthur Schopenhauer wrote:
Inferior minds are so not merely because they are distorted, and therefore judge falsely, but primarily through the indistinctness of their whole thinking, which may be compared to seeing through a bad telescope, when all the outlines appear indistinct and as if obliterated, and the different objects run into each other. The weak understanding of such minds shrinks from the demand for distinctness of conceptions, and therefore they do not themselves make this claim upon it, but put up with haziness; and to satisfy themselves with this they gladly have recourse to words, especially such as denote indefinite, very abstract, unusual conceptions which are hard to explain; such, for example, as infinite and finite, sensible and supersensible, the Idea of being, Ideas of the reason, the absolute, the Idea of the good, the divine, moral freedom, power of spontaneous generation, the absolute Idea, subject-object, &c. The like of these they confidently fling about, imagine they really express thoughts, and expect every one to be content with them; for the highest summit of wisdom which they can see is to have at command such ready-made words for every possible question. This immense satisfaction in words is thoroughly characteristic of inferior minds. It depends simply upon their incapacity for distinct conceptions, whenever these must rise above the most trivial and simple relations. Hence upon the weakness and indolence of their intellect, and indeed upon the secret consciousness of this, which in the case of scholars is bound up with the early learnt and hard necessity of passing themselves off as thinking beings, to meet which demand in all cases they keep such a suitable store of ready-made words.

Language is the externalization of esoteric thoughts, feelings, sensations, concepts - abstractions.
Therefore most of what is called philosophy does not deal with reality but with man's own internal reactions and relations with it.

To return language to its original utility and to practice true philosophy - rather than psychology - requires the courage and integrity to externalize the standard for the meaning of words/symbols, and their use as intermediating symbols between subjective consciousness and objective reality.
Before philosophy even begins to deal with the metaphysical and the ideological it must establish a stable foundation in the physical - physis, nature.

But few moderns ever do so, infected by the compensating defensiveness of nihilism; the motive corrupts the process, and their use of language reflects it with its nonsensical vacuousness, and its insinuating obscurantism.

Art reflects man's understanding and reactions to existence, adjusting to represent the particularities of the environment.
Language is an art-form so it would evolve to reflect the gradual movement from natural towards increasingly man-made - i.e., artificial - environments.
Philosophy is the discipline of using words to relate to reality, and so it would also evolve accordingly, reflecting this gradually accumulating immersion of man within his own artifices, or within the consequences of his own interventions.
In most cases philosophy has become an echo chamber, one voice critiquing the echoes of the other voices, all of them encompassed in human artifices.
He is engulfed in his own mental constructs, commenting on his own abstractions and the psychological references they imply without admitting it.
Modern philosophy has become vacuous - empty of all substance; a plaything for men-children.

Prose as Pretence
The fine art of prose.
There's a linguistic art form many hypocrites use to self-aggrandize.
It's called prose – a kind of free form poetry using metaphors and allegories to create a sensation. It is a legitimate art form if used correctly, but in many cases it is used as a pseudo-intellectual device to imply what cannot be justified rationally.
Pseudo-Intellectual hypocrites will bury references in mountains of metaphor and allegory implying depth of thought, or that an actual rational argument is being presented – when it is not. In effect such pretentious minds prefer outsourcing their thinking, implying that the references, they defer to, are supportive of their personal delusions and convictions, or they will use such methods to imply a profound depth of thought which they cannot show clearly, because it isn’t there.
The more obscure the reference the less likely it is that the reader will 'call them out' on it, so such cowards tend to accumulate obscure data, which they casually include in their prose.
Simpletons will compensate for their mental deficiencies by accumulating data they can then defer and refer to. Obscure specialized references are preferred because the audience is less likely to know what is being referred to, or may not have any memory of the details, allowing the simpleton to use the reference in any way that suits him.
A confusion of knowledge for understanding is at work, as well. A hypocrite will imply understanding with quantities of knowledge, which he will include in his prose. It's an effective technique.

Here we have an example of how particular messages, accoutered to fit the social consensus of the time, is woven into the sickness that pervades in it. When elements of awareness find their way into compartmentalized forms of an aberrant psychology to compliment truisms, do the unwanted things that come with it, are forgotten, especially in desperate times of intellectual dishonesty, full of those longing for some semblance of truth somewhere, anywhere; it only has more positive effect.

Think of Milo Yinippolus. The flaming Jewish Fag, aligning himself with popular ideas against certain establishment propaganda, and securing himself a seat of superiority among "normal" people based on the ideas he succeeds. It's how parasitism works with or without the awareness of the one doing it.

In theory, expressed through semiotics, every ideology is perfect; every abstraction whole and absolute when it remains just a thought.
It's when the theory is exposed to reality that it exposes its flaws; its when it dares to become action when it reveals its true quality.
We can even say that the degree of its ideological contradiction of the real - its nihilism quotient, let's say - will determine the degree of its failure when applied, and consequently the degree of duplicity required to hide the fact.

I mean, isn't that why Capitalism succeeds, relative to Communism?
It's closer to natural selection, though nepotism and inheritance is a problem that burdens its theoretical perfection.
Communism is so contrary to natural methods that it constantly fails and every time it does so it rightfully blames humanity - human nature - for not living-up to its ideological principles.
It fails because it never sees the flaw in its won theory. It never blames the holy scripture of the Communist Manifesto, but only reality for contradiction its well-intentioned, benevolent, offering of salvation from nature's cruelty.
It's naiveté is the source of its infantile seduction. How could it ever let go of its innocence, and goodness, when it is built on the Abrahamic victim identity?

Communism, as well, is a perfect system, in theory. When it remains a mental work to be opined over during liqueur fuelled opium highs of adolescent bohemians?
Perfect....but only in a perfect world, populated by perfect, ideal, humans.
Humans with no past and no human nature - which is another way of saying past.

Remember that autistic man-child who refused to accept or understand how or why all language was metaphorical?

well, maybe McGilchrist has a chance of cutting through that feebleness.
I doubt it....so it is not meant for him, but for anyone who is interested....
McGilchrist, Iain wrote:

METAPHOR
Language functions like money. It is only an intermediary. But like money it takes on some of the life of the things it represents. It begins in the world of experience and returns to the world of experience - and it does so via metaphor, which is a function of the right hemisphere, and is rooted in the body.
To use a metaphor, language is the money of thought.
Only the right hemisphere has the capacity to understand metaphor. That might not sound too important – like it could be a nice thing if one were going to do a bit of lit crit. But that is just a sign of the degree to which our world of discourse is dominated by left-hemisphere habits of mind.
Metaphoric thinking is fundamental to our understanding of the world, because it is the only way in which understanding can reach outside the system of signs to life itself. It is what links language to life.
The word metaphor implies something that carries you across an implied gap (Greek meta- across, pherein carry). When I call language metaphorical, I am not thinking only of Keats addressing the Grecian urn – ‘Thou still unravish'd bride of quietness, / Thou foster-child of silence and slow time’.
Here there are clearly many complex, interacting metaphors, and that this creates something new and different from a factual description of the Sosibios Vase is obvious. This is metaphorical language in a dramatic sense. But there are two other, broader, but related, senses in which language is metaphorical. Speaking metaphorically, one might say that language is open to carry us across to the experiential world at the ‘top’ and at the ‘bottom’.
At the ‘top’ end, I am talking about any context – and these are not by any means to be found in poetry alone – in which words are used so as to activate a broad net of connotations, which though present to us, remains implicit, so that the meanings are appreciated as a whole, at once, to the whole of our being, conscious and unconscious, rather than being subject to the isolating effects of sequential, narrow-beam attention. As long as they remain implicit, they cannot be hijacked by the conscious mind and turned into just another series of words, a paraphrase. If this should happen, the power is lost, much like a joke that has to be explained (humour is a right-hemisphere faculty).
At the ‘bottom’ end, I am talking about the fact that every word, in and of itself, eventually has to lead us out of the web of language, to the lived world, ultimately to something that can only be pointed to, something that relates to our embodied existence. Even words such as ‘virtual’ or ‘immaterial’ take us back in their Latin derivation – sometimes by a very circuitous path – to the earthy realities of a man's strength (vir-tus), or the feel of a piece of wood (materia). Everything has to be expressed in terms of something else, and those something elses eventually have to come back to the body. To change the metaphor (and invoke the spirit of Wittgenstein) that is where one's spade reaches bedrock and is turned. There is nothing more fundamental in relation to which we can understand that.
That is why it is like the relation of money to goods in the real world. Money takes its value (at the ‘bottom’ end) from some real, possibly living, things – somebody's cows or chickens, somewhere – and it only really has value as and when it is translated back into real goods or services – food, clothes, belongings, car repairs – in the realm of daily life (at the ‘top’ end). In the meantime it can take part in numerous ‘virtual’ transactions with itself, the sort of things that go on within the enclosed monetary system.
Let me emphasise that the gap across which the metaphor carries us is one that language itself creates. Metaphor is language's cure for the ills entailed on us by language (much as, I believe, the true process of philosophy is to cure the ills entailed on us by philosophising). If the separation exists at the level of language, it does not at the level of experience. At that level the two parts of a metaphor are not similar; they are the same. The German thinker Jean Paul (Johann Paul Friedrich Richter) wrote in 1804, in his Vorschule der Ästhetik:
Ingenious figures of speech can either give soul to the body or body to the spirit. Originally, when man was still at one with the world, this two-dimensional trope did not yet exist; one did not compare that which showed no resemblance, but one proclaimed identities: metaphors were, as with children, necessary synonyms for body and mind. Just as, in the case of writing, pictures preceded the alphabet, metaphor (insofar as it designated relations and not objects) was the first word in spoken language, and only after losing its original colour could it become a literal sign.
A metaphor asserts a common life that is experienced in the body of the one who makes it, and the separation is only present at the linguistic level. Our sense of the commonality of the two ideas, perceptions or entities does not lie in a post hoc derivation of something abstracted from each of them, which is found on subsequent comparison to be similar, or even one and the same thing; but rather on a single concrete, kinaesthetic experience more fundamental than either, and from which they in turn are derived. Thus a clash of arguments and a clash of cymbals are not seen to have something in common only after the disembodied idea of a ‘clash’ is abstracted from the one and from the other, and found – aha! – to be similar; it is rather that these experiences – a clash of arguments and a clash of cymbals, or, for that matter, a clash of swords, or a clash of colours – are felt in our embodied selves as sharing a common nature.
When the metaphor is paraphrased or replaced, whatever had been extralingual, unconscious, and therefore potentially new and alive in the collision of these two entities gets reconstructed, this time in terms only of what is familiar. The point of metaphor is to bring together the whole of one thing with the whole of another, so that each is looked at in a different light. And it works both ways, as the coming together of one thing with another always must. You can't pin one down so that it doesn't move, while the other is drawn towards it: they must draw towards each other. As Max Black says:
‘If to call a man a wolf is to put him in a special light, we must not forget that the metaphor makes the wolf seem more human than he otherwise would.’
And Bruno Snell, discussing the way in which Homer likens the brave warrior to a rock amidst the crashing waves, the rock then, in turn, being described as ‘steadfast’ by analogy with human behaviour, writes perceptively:
This peculiar situation, namely that human behaviour is made clear only through reference to something else which is in turn explained by analogy with human behaviour, pertains to all Homeric similes. More than that, it pertains to all genuine metaphors, and in fact to every single case of human understanding. Thus it is not quite correct to say that the rock is viewed anthropomorphically, unless we add that our understanding of rock is anthropomorphic for the same reason that we are able to look at ourselves petromorphically … man must listen to an echo of himself before he may hear or know himself.
Metaphor (subserved by the right hemisphere) comes before denotation (subserved by the left). This is a historical truth, in the sense that denotative language, even philosophical and scientific language, are derived from metaphors founded on immediate experience of the tangible world.
Metaphor is centrally a matter of thought, not just words. Metaphorical language is a reflection of metaphorical thought … Eliminating metaphor would eliminate philosophy. Without a very large range of conceptual metaphors, philosophy could not get off the ground. The metaphoric character of philosophy is not unique to philosophic thought. It is true of all abstract human thought, especially science. Conceptual metaphor is what makes most abstract thought possible.
It is also a truth about epistemology, how we understand things. Any one thing can be understood only in terms of another thing, and ultimately that must come down to a something that is experienced, outside the system of signs (i.e. by the body). The very words which form the building blocks of explicit thought are themselves all originally metaphors, grounded in the human body and its experience.
Metaphor embodies thought and places it in a living context. These three areas of difference between the hemispheres – metaphor, context and the body – are all interpenetrated one with another.
Once again it is the right hemisphere, in its concern for the immediacy of experience, that is more densely interconnected with and involved in the body, the ground of that experience. Where the right hemisphere can see that metaphor is the only way to preserve the link between language and the world it refers to, the left hemisphere sees it either as a lie (Locke, expressing Enlightenment disdain, called metaphors ‘perfect cheats’) or as a distracting ornament; and connotation as a limitation, since in the interests of certainty the left hemisphere prefers single meanings.
For the left hemisphere, consequently, language can come to seem cut off from the world, to be itself the reality; and reality, for its part, comes to seem made up of bits strung together, as the words are strung together by syntax. The left hemisphere is bound to see language like this because it understands things by starting from the observation of ‘pieces’ and builds them up to make something, and this is the only route it has to understanding both the world and language itself, the medium with which it does its understanding, including its understanding of language.

Autism is a right-hemisphere deficiency, but we can also describe a left-hemisphere deficiency, which surrenders to metaphor - feminization.
Autism is an extreme masculine perspective that cannot empathize not relate with otherness.
Extreme empathy is the immersion of self in otherness - sympathy/antipathy.
Extreme feminization confuses other with self, via language. Other is external so distinct - so it is in other which the self surrenders; in other cases the self is projected into other, even if this other is a stone, or some other inanimate object.
The world is anthropomorphised - all is alive, or concious....or is described suing words that only apply to wilful living beings.

Sounds exactly like something i would think or say. Existence is active and dynamic. The use of creative exposition seizes upon this dynamism to produce a concrete complexity. Simple minds prefer simple messages. Higher minds see more details of the same messages and need more accuracy to communicate them. They need to reach deeper.

Wholeness implies this dynamism of nuances which are present in a metaphor. He puts it nicely. Creative thinking is about "activating" the impetus in us to see beyond the obvious into a greater depth, capturing a picture of what the idea represents, rather than mere parts of it; an 'exposure' to the nature of an idea is this method of creative thought.

I like this. He speaks of the fluidity of consciousness. Thinking as a 'traversing' over the open view of an idea.

The challenge to overcome ones own limitations, weaknesses, reservations, is something which requires the ability to look past oneself as an individual, or what they have learned, and see oneself as existence itself, and what they can know.

I like this observation. Those who cannot grasp symbols and metaphors will resort to believing they are being deceived, or that the other is "hiding" something from them. I spoke of this before. The one who believes he is being deceived is deceived by his own qualms and inadequacies; his inability to understand, projecting itself onto the other as their inability to communicate clearly. A common inferior mindset. Defensiveness in comprehension is a clear sign of a simple-mind which cannot grasp what is being said or why. I remember Autsider said once that he disliked fiction prose, because it involved the use of "deception" to express meaning. Metaphor for the simple mind, translates into deception because they lack the faculty to process it as a whole, and require only simplified portions of banal language which are easily understood, in other words, like a child.

Metaphor, ultimately is an "oversimplified" form of communication. Meaning, that it takes the simplicity of nature, into greater heights. Nature is simple. The human mind makes it complex. These are seeds of thinking which have the potential to grow into an ordered structure of nuance; if they are properly nurtured and cultivated that is, and this is where wisdom come into play. A symmetry of the simple and complex will produce a form of thinking which reveals or 'uncovers' a truth to something otherwise not understood or seen. And, if it does not reveal what it intended, it will announce itself as something more than it was before it was made into a symbol.

The metaphor directs, guides, orients, and more importantly, stimulates the imagination. Imagination is the forge where thoughts and ideas, become tempered into stronger material, into stronger perception.

If anything, we can begin the process of artistic thinking, by understanding that we must concern ourselves with consciousness as conscious beings, just as a spider concerns itself with web weaving, birds with flight etc. We will then direct abstract energies towards natural ends within nature.
