History is written by the victors, and it is revised to agree with an image and an objective they wish to cultivate. Subtle adjustments of events, and their meaning; concealment or downgrading other events as less decisive or as uncertain etc. There are many feminine ways to spread gossip and undermine another.
Then they criminalize historical revisions so as to prevent any alternative versions from challenging their narratives. He who controls the past determines the future. But there are no certainties and no absolutes. Nature exposes lies and corrects pretences. Words do not suffice to change the past, as it is continuously manifesting as presence. The present exposes the accuracy of a narrative concerning the immutable past.

I see. Used to love this board game with pieces that looked like that. A war strategy game. Axis & Allies it was called ...before computers made such game obsolete.
I actually think people who make videos like this play games like hearts of iron 4 or anything by Sid Meier. I don't think they are obsolete, it just takes time to put all the pieces on the table and actually get people to play for many hours and actually learn the rules.
I've played tabletop games and going to someone's house to and playing for 6-8 hours can be very exhausting, even if the game was way more simple/straightforward than civilization.
I know at least 3 complete WW2 fanatics, at least two of them basically know the armor plates of each tanks and which freaking ammo type will penetrate which tank and from which angle. (not that it's needed in these more grand strategy games yet they enjoy the slower one's as well)

I knew Troy had an influence over the creation of Rome but didn't know it was still referenced to in other areas of Europe. I'm surprised that they would be held up as the heroes or ideal despite the flaws i personally see in a city-state willing to defend a seducing coward and fight behind walls which I would imagine would also be seen as a form of cowardice in general (Even having women "amazons" fight for them, which remind me of the modern western militaries). I'm also surprised with how the Spartans were alluded to have ties with with the chosen which I think might be a stretch...
Is it just a romantic bias towards prosperous/stable societies in general? The consequences of which are apparent to us, but not those still living in times of heath?

Yes Ukraine once had the third largest nuclear arsenal. Gave it up in some kind of agreement to reduce nuclear proliferation. the Americans, at the time, feared these weapons would fall in the "wrong hands".
It is said that one of the reasons Putin invaded was because Ukraine was starting to talk about rebuilding its nuclear arsenal.....though a smaller one.

Iraq mostly Muslims fighting with each other if not for Hussein. Ukraine only has the antagonism of Ukraine - who once fought with Hitler - and Russophones - who mostly fought against Hitler.
America uses shock and awe, reducing all invade countries to rubble - subsequently making billions in rebuilding what they destroyed. This is one reason for their lower casualties. Russia doesn't want to destroy Ukraine but occupy it as intact as possible. The difference in fighting skill is evident between Europeans and Arab Semites. The terrain is also a factor.
Iraq invasion lasted about 2 months. Then it fought on for years. Ukraine invasion is in its first week. I suspect a pro-russian government will be set up and Russia will leave, helping it with weapons, information, and special forces etc.
